Ah yes, Harry Potter...a personal favorite of mine >.<
hmm lets see...
Lost Years of Merlin series The Ravenmaster's Secret For Freedom The Wanderer Wizardology Sword of Shanarra (still workin on it, but so far its really good!)
I'll read just about anything, as long as it catches my interest. I love big books, anything more than 300 pages..I like them to last a while...I'll read smaller books, they just have to like I said, catch my interest.
Feel free to recommend any books as well! Im runnin low and will be making a trip to the bookstore soon!

I won't read ANYTHING, but there is alot I will read. Wierdly enough, I enjoy books on the Holocaust/Third Reich, etc, especially the biographies from those who survived. But I read alot of other stuff. Some of my favs are:
Hitler's Scientists (This has some major-arse vocabulary!) Wicked The Harry Potter series To Kill a Mockingbird In Cold Blood Whistled Like a Bird

I'm currently reading the Golden Compass by Philip Pullman again. In light of the new movie I figured I'd better read it again, so I can slag them off if they screw up. razz
On the whole I really enjoy Philip Pullmans books. I've also read the Sally Lockhart series. Other than that I like Diana Wynne Jones' books. Howl's moving castle is my favourite, but I also like the Chrestomanci series and Hemlock and Fire.
I would also recommend any book by Terry Pratchett. In peticular the Discworld series. Which is basically just one big parody of fantasy novels and live in general.

DoktorPhil Im curious, anyone know of any books based upon James Bond filmsÉ Id probably end up reading it, but I dont know of any. Ah well, I don't know about books based on James Bond films. But I do know the films were based on books about James. They were written by Ian Fleming. And looking throught the wikipedia page, I ton of people wrote books about James after Ian Fleming stopped. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Bond_(novels)Looks like there's plenty to read eek

I'm into books that are complicated like war, or politics etc.. I also enjoy magic andcomedy. Or romance or adventure. It just has to be well written.
World War Z The Zombie Survival Guide The Harry Potter series (Snape I forgive you...again.) The Minotaur Wars: Battle of Krynn, Battle of Souls, Age of Asalon Leon and the Spitting Image Attack of the Killer Potatoes!!! Anything from Roald Dahl (Specifically Herny Sugar or Boy, The BFG)) Gregor the Overlander Anything from Gary Larsen (The FAR SIDE Galleries) Time Machine, The Invisible Man by H.G. Wells How to manage money...(Hilarious. But you have to understand politics to get it.) The Lord Of The Rings trilogy as well as The Hobbit from Crap....I can't remember...J.R.R. Tolken that's right. Invitation To The Game (Slow start but builds momentum.) That's about it for now.

I just finished reading Diamonds are Forever by Ian Fleming (AKA A 007 book...) And I must say, while a very good book indeed, it is nothing like the movie except for small parts. (And no, unlike the Bond movies, it doesn't have a chapter of free porn)

@ DoktorPhil No chapter of free porn 0.o
I just started reading The Truth by Terry Pratchett. It's the 25th Discworld novel, only so far I haven't really been reading them in that order. sweatdrop Not that it matters too much, but sometimes it gets confusing.

I've nearly finished Inkspell by Cornelia Funke. I've completely fallen in love with the Inkheart trilogy. The concept behind it, and the way it portrays books and reading, have completely engrossed me.
Lord of the Rings has already been mentioned. I love those books. Technically my copies belong to my brother, but I'm not sure he's ever gotten past the first page. It's my insistance that they are carted everywhere with me that means they have no covers left.
And since so many of you are mentioning Harry Potter, I suppose I must mention it too.
