..: It's November and winter is just around the corner, as is Christmas brake. Between cramming for exams and worrying about report cards, students seem to be anxious for the winter dance on December 14th. The campus is abuzz with secret crushes and talk of the dance. :..

Kaito had just finished brekfast standing up to go put his tray in the wash. He brushed his silver black hair back and took a deep breath. "this year is so quiet....and with the dance coming around, i half expected it to be noisier..." His stomach now quenched of it's hunger he turned to walk out of the cafeteria. He stepped into the hallways and looked around seeing christmas decorations going up and Halloween decorations going down. "hehe...they don't waste any time making this place look weird do they?..." He continued thinking out loud as he turned right heading for his locker before going to class. He was happy to be in school for the moment, it had a cheery feel about it. It was much better than sitting at home listening to his mother gripe about keeping clean and not breaking any house rules. "man what i'd give to have some kind of fun right now hehehehe" He said as he passed by a group of girls. He could hear them whispering to each other about their crushes or who they want to be with at the dance. He paused for a moment hearing his name mentioned then shrugged and thought nothing more of it. He didn't care at the moment, he was too busy thinking of messing around and playing a few games.

Kaito had reached his locker seeing the drab brown color of the cold metal. He put his hand to the dial for the combination and sighed. "i hate this thing....can't they give us a differnt color?" He asked himself as he turned the dial slowly in every which way before pulling the silver metal tab and opening it up. He looked up and grabbed a few boks for his next few clesses. He then looked up a wave of boredom washing over him now. as his hair fell back from his face he blinked and looked at the stremers and mistltoe everywhere. "oh man...they had to hang the mistltoe....I don't like kissing in public...it feels weird to do that." He blushed slightly hearing himself talk and brushed the thought away hoping he didn't end up with some girl under a mistltoe. "well...here's to avoiding any mistletoe today..." He turned on his heels and slapped his forehead seeing a girl right behind him. "damnit!...i spoke too soon." He said as he backed away a little bit. "I like to party and goof around and such but on my own time...i've got to get to class...think Kaito, what excuse should i use..."" His heart raced like it was going to explode trying to think of something then grinned. "no one said anything about a kiss on the lips...the cheek will do fine....i hope" He took a deep breath and leaned forward kissing the girl lightly on the cheek before turning and running to class. "whew....i hope i'm not late!" he yelled as he ran faster down the halls knowing the bell might ring any minute now.

Kaito looked at the clock as he ran and then started to sprint seeing he only had a couple mintues left. He saw the door to his class room and ran harder as he came within a few feet of the door he jumpedand landed in the clss skidding to a halt infront of the teachers desk. "whew!....made it!" He said hapily as he turned to go sit at his desk. "damn....next time i'll tear the mitsletoe down so i don't get hung up like that again." He wiped his forehead from a light sweat and set his books down on the desk. His chest hurt slightly from such a hard run but he didn't care. He'd rather hurt and ached from errunning than do detention from being tardy.

Kaito laid his head back and took a deep breath trying to steady his breathing. "whew....that was close...." He then looked up at the board and saw his assignments. "waht a drag...all those problems to do on a week of holiday??....oh well. I guess he doesn't like the holiday's very much..." He then poulled a book and some paper out of the bag he had, and started to flip through the pages. He felt as if he were being watched but payed no attention to the feeling. He had to get his work done before doing anything else. "bah...." he pushed his hair back from his face and looked at the book. A few moments later he had started to write down the problems and the answer he gave for them.

(( Depends on what science class it is. Chemistry has the most complicated problems yet, then Physics is the second hardest and Physical science and life science is easy. ))

Kaito had raised his hand from instinct but did not know what he just voluntered for.He was still lking into his book compying and answering problems as he held his hand in the air waiting for the teacher to recognize it.
