Anybody know any good jazz magazines? i have heard of DOWNBEAT but so far that's the only one.

Yeah, all my friends who are serious jazz musicians say that Downbeat is the way to go. It's got articles dedicated to musicians, information on jazz schools, news on upcoming concerts, and plenty more...
