I have never had sex, but if I go to get blood drawn can't I get checked for any STD's and diseases. Like from a hospital or something. And is it weird to seep a little bit of c** when I get sexually aroused, even when no touching of the genitals occurs? Sometimes I seep a little before my girlfriend and I even touch eachother. What places can I get checked for STD's for really cheap, or possibly even free? Don't some hospitals do it? If my gf and I get checked for STD's, had sex, and waited a couple a months (probably only 2) to go to the OB-GYN would that be safe if she feels no pains and has no signs of HPV, urinary tract infection, etc? I was just wondering that. If she had pains, I would immediately get one of my friends to drive us to Planned Parenthood. Also we would have to have sex without birth control. It seems very pricy. Also her mom has her mark on a calander when she has her periods, and she would definately forget to make up days because of the birth control.

Yes, you can get checked for STDs at hospitals or clinics. You can call Planned Parenthood. They might be able to test you for little or no cost. If they cannot, they should at least be able to tell you who can.
It is normal for fluid to come out of your p***s when aroused. It is called pre-ejaculate. Pre-ejaculate is just one of the reasons that the pull out method is not very effective.
Whether or not it would be safe to put off going to the ob-gyn is debatable. Waiting just two months would probably be safe though if you two get condoms and use them as directed. However, whether or not she has pain or other symptoms is irrelevant. Most people have no symptoms at all for most STDs, including HPV. Women also usually do not have symptoms when they have cervical cancer. That is why we need to go to the ob-gyn whether we have symptoms of anything or not. So if you could get a friend to drive you if she experienced pain, why not just get your friend to drive you guys there now? Also, you plan on getting checked for STDs first, right? So if you guys are right there at the clinic, why wouldn't you just have her see the ob-gyn then?
Why would you have sex without birth control? You guys aren't even having sex yet, and you already want to try for a baby? There's no way you two can raise a baby right now. Just get the birth control. If you cannot afford birth control, go to Family Planning or Planned Parenthood. They will give you birth control for free or low cost. They have non-hormonal methods of birth control, such as condoms, as well as hormonal methods, such as the pill, there that they can give you and your girlfriend.

When I said "we aren't using birth control" I meant it as the pill. Condoms are a definate must during sex, even with birth control. I'm not stupid. I just don't call condoms birth control, even though they are. If I get a blood test, isn't that like getting tested for any diseases one might carry like the HPV virus that is transmitted? Just wondering about that. I can get a blood test easily, and I'm a little imbarassed to ask a hospital to get checked for STI's. Thats why I would get a blood test. Its standard routine. And Planned Parenthood is far. I would only be for a big emergency if someone would drive us there.

If you get your blood drawn for something that's not related to STDs, doctors are not just going to test you for all STDs for the heck of it. You actually have to ask for STD tests. Many of the more common STDs are not diagnosed by doing blood tests anyway. There is currently no HPV test for males.

HPV is an STD that is transmitted pretty much like any other. Males can give it to females or other males. Females can give it to males or other females. However, we do not currently have any way to test males for HPV. So males could get tested for STDs, come back clean, yet still have HPV and give it to their partner. Yes, if you ask for an STD test, they should be able to test you at hospitals and clinics.

Waiiiiiit!
You can test for HPV in males. It's a simple blood test! AND.....Males can receive the HPV/Cervical Cancer Vaccine! Human papilloma virus is no stroll in the park, its very serious. Although there are more then 100 different strains of HPV, about 30 or more are sexually transmitted. By age 50, 80% of women ( in the US alone) will have contracted the HPV virus strains that puts them at risk for cervical cancer.
While the vaccine only targets 4 or 5 strains, you getting this shot can help stop the spread of this devastating virus.
Have some one at PP explain it to you, I'm sure they'll be more in depth then me. Also PP's current craze on a contraception is the Nuva Ring. The last time I was at a PP, they had them for $10 a pack for persons under 18, and then a little more for those over the age of 18.
If you think about how expensive good condoms can get and their failure rate compared to BC - the nuva ring is the better deal. It should not change the days of her period that much, as you insert the ring for a week, take it out, put in another for the next week, and then take that one out and you'll have a period. BC pills also have a week of bleeding "break through" bleeding. It's not a true period as no egg has been ovulated, but if there is blood coming out of your va jay jay - I don't think anyone is going to argue with you that it's not a true period.
If it does change a bit, she can blame it on stress. The body does not know what date it is and when it is supposed to have a period, it's a living thing, it goes by it's own biological functions, not some rigid time frame we have come up with. Hell, my period skips around all of the time, and since my body hates me, I'll probably have one on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New years (yes I know that's a short time between, but believe me, my uterus hates me)~

If so, please do tell..... If you know any thing about cell biology you would know that each cell has it's own unique strand of DNA. The same goes for viruses. There is a test, called a Polymerase Chain Reaction or PCR that is used to look for the DNA of HPV in the blood and tissues. It can even pinpoint exactly what genotype/strain of HPV the patient has. Because it can do so (show exactly which strains) it is being used more and more often in combination with other tests (like the pap) at clinics in the US. This test and knowledge of it has been use world wide for quite awhile, only now are we getting our hands on it. Look it up with HPV testing. I'm too lazy to site sites right now.
He also could get an a**l pap smear, but to be honest, that would be only if he is having gay sex.
The FDA also did not want to approve the HPV vaccine, or the morning after pill because they thought it would lead to rampant promiscuous sex of young girls. neutral The FDA is nothing more then a cash loving organization that will do anything for the money of the current bible thumping conservative politicians. It is also the FDA that is thinking about licensing Gardisill for the vaccination of men.

I am not implying that you're wrong, I am just saying I am not able to find any decent information on it. All the sites I am familiar with say there is no way to test men at the moment. Now, obviously, things change and sites may not be updated right away.

Just got done translating some german sentences and it skewed my English for a bit. gonk I know quite a few sites about PCR but four of them require a subscription as they are medical journal type publications and the rest are so much medical and scientific lingo they're hard to comprehend even if you have background knowledge on the topic. I'll start looking for some understandable free sites in awhile.
