(( RP for boy gang I shoulda set up a while ago xD I'm still playing Kwasi as a cub here, seeing as I haven't had the chance to c: ))

The boy was slung over a low branch on a tree. Lions weren't good climbers, but this branch was pretty low, and easy to reach even for a cub like him. Only he wasn't just on it. He was climbing it. Trying to reach the very tip and see what happened.

Chokuto's idea was to see if it made a bridge to the ground for him to walk down. After all, it'd lower, right? Besides, on the tip he saw a bird's nest. Carefully, he plucked his way ahead, a smirk on his maw as he got closer and closer to the nest.

Below, at first she hadn't noticed it. She was just passing under the tree, the cubs ears folded against her skull slightly, in one of those 'something in not right' expressions. However, soon she heard a crack from above, and her eyes snapped upwards. immediately, the chocolate cub leap back, her eyes wide.

"What are you doing?! You're gonna break your head! " She hissed at thee cub on the branch. What was he, a moron?!

Murasame peered around, where was Choku and everyone else? His ears were folded back, tail curled around himself, mom and dad seemed to have disappeared, where had they gone? Rukia was even missing! No twin power today...

Sighing orange hues scanned around as Murasame pulled himself up upon a stone, he'd be able to get a better view from up here surely, he'd be taller than a lot of other things.

Flicking his tail he looked around, standing straight on the stone, "Choku!?" he called.

Where had his brother gone now!?

Another boring day in the Pridelands. Sani had long since given up on trying to convince his brothers to wrestle with him, and playing with Ua just wasn't optional. It would be so not cool to be seen playing with his sister. Probably she'd try and make him play dress-up with bits of grass and leaves. Something really girly-girly that he would hate by default. It just wasn't fair. What was the point in having siblings if you couldn't play with them when you wanted to?

A girl's shout caught his attention, and his ears perked up as his eyes swivelled around. Seeing what appeared to be a girl cub shouting at a boy cub in a tree, his interest was immediately piqued and he hurriedly ambled over in their direction. He stopped behind Kwasi, looking up at Choku moving along the branch, his mouth hanging open slightly.

"Cool!" he said abruptly, his expression suddenly turning into a grin. Obviously he had a different opinion about Choku's stunt than the maturer Kwasi, his tail flicking excitedly behind him. "How'd you get up there?" He'd never thought of climbing up into a tree like that, but he sure was impressed now that he saw someone else doing it. But in light of the boy's antics, Kwasi didn't even get noticed by Hasani. Boys of weak maturity cannot focus on two things at once; it's impossible. And besides... Kwasi was a girl.

Oh, look, he'd already got envious folks! The cub smirked down at Kwasi for a moment, sticking his tongue out, then grinning at Hasani, his small tail flicking. "I climbed! " He said smugly, flexing his small claws against the bark. "And 'm getting that bird nest, too! I wonder if there are eggs inside.. " He purred at the idea of this being true, as he wiggled along the branch even more towards the nest. Unfortunately for him, it had been long abandoned. But.. Well, what he didn't know didn't hurt him yet, right?

"You're.. Thats wrong! "

Kwasi huffed, folding her ears againt the skull. A bird ad spent time making that nest! It wasn't fair for him to just go and pluck it! "This is not going to end well, whoever you are. " She frowned, and glanced to the side at Hasani, looking rather skeptical over how he seemed to.. enjoy what Chokuto was doing.

For a moment, however, her eyes went blank, and she tilted her head up at the nest Chokuto headed for. "There's nothing in there anyway. Its probably abandoned. " Ooh, nice wild guess.

Chokuto snorted. Empty-schmemty! He continued tocrawl along the branch, slowly but surely getting close to the nest-- but he couldn't go further. He'd have to reach. "Okay.. " He muttered, stretching a paws as well as he could, while clinging to the branch, which seemed painfully unstable.

And ear flicked as he heard his name caleld, deffinately his brothers voice. But he didn't have time for that now!

Murasame huffed as he padded along through the grasses, he thought he heard voices nearby, what was Choku doing? A frown on his face orange eyes searched around until he saw a brown form on the ground, not Choku though..no, Choku was in a tree.

"What are you doing?! If you fall its not my fault Choku!" Murasame said sticking his tongue out up at his brother. Murasame turned his head to peer at the female here though..a girl, yick, but, maybe she wasn't like the other girls around hopefully.

Makali had strayed today on purpose, not wanting to hang around with his sisters, though they were the only cootie-less females he knew... He still didn't feel like being with them on this day. Today felt like a day to stir up some innocent trouble- Makali would never have bad intentions, but he did want to cause some excitement in the typically-bland Pridelands. Too peaceful for the little grey cub. That was until it sounded like some trouble was already being stirred not far away. He heard a whiny girl's voice, but he also heard the voices of a few other guys, so he padded over to see a most unusual sight.

Yet another young male's voice chimed in. "Wow, cool!" He was younger than the others, and therefore smaller, but only proportionally. Once he had aged to their ages, he'd be equally as large. The boy couldn't help but ask- "Any cool bugs up there?" He pondered starting to climb himself, but he didn't want to get in the way of the slightly older male who was already up there.

From his vantage point at the base of the tree, Sani could see Chokuto reaching out for the nest he was after. He may be in possession of the one-track mind that only young and immature boys had, but he wasn't really entirely stupid, and it seemed to him as though the branch the other male clung to was a touch unsteady. And what did a branch do when it was unsteady? It broke. And when it broke, it fell down to the ground. And where was he? On the ground, right below it. In what was most likely his only wise decision of the day, Sani backed up a few paces, just so he could avoid being hit by the thing if it did fall, but he still stayed close enough to see what was happening.

"Hey!" he called up to Choku. "You better grab that thing 'fore the branch breaks!" There was no trying to tell Choku that it was safest to get off the branch before it fell. That sort of thing just didn't enter the little cub's mind. And for some reason, he really wanted Chokuto to get that nest. Most likely so he could see what was in it, too - and probably because he already thought the other cub was cool for climbing up into a tree in the first place. Yes... an immature, one-track mind.

"Hey! " He gasped, glacing backwards to the boy who had just begun to climb. "Its not strong nuff for both of us! " He said, folding his ears against his skull, for a moment allowing his paw to get a bit further away from the nest, then actually eyeing it again. He couldn't reach it from here! With a snort, Chokuto moved to crawl foreward, his tail lifted in determination.

"Its gonna break, " Kwasi said with a slight little hum to it, ears back. "Besides, you're too heavy to climb that! " She snorted. Kwasi, although far from a tomboy, was rather proud, and would perhaps enjoy showing off a bit. She was lighter, she could probably do this better than he could!

"Oh yeah? Do better! " Chokuto snapped back stubbornly, and slowly began to stand on the branch, reaching to the nest with his maw, before finally closing his teeth on its edge. Damn, this thing smelled bad, but he wouldn't let go now. He had to check it out first!

"Uh.. " He blinked, staring at the ground. He didn't have enough room to turn around here, and he didn't have eyes behind his head to walk backward. The only way out was the way down. However.. The branch got lower the closer he got to the tip. Maybe if he swung it a bit, he'd get closer to the ground! "Lookout below! " He said loudly, and crouched on the branch, pushing his paws against it, then releasing, and continuing to move like this until the branch was was bouncing up and down.

Despite Kwasi's objecting, Chokuto didn't even pay attention, not even when he heard a crack. "Uh-oh. " Was all he could mutter before he found the branch giving way beneath him-- and it was going twards the ground.. then it stopped.

Chokuto opened his eyes to find the tip of the branch, still ahead of him, had hit the ground and broke a bit, but he was still closer to the stronger middle. The branch was now slanted in a rather triangular way, a bit of bark still clinging to the stub that had broked off, keeping the back end of the branch still sort-of suspended. It wouldn't hold for long, but it was enough to get down! "Awesome. " He muttered through the nest, and bounced to the ground, his paws rather shakey from this 'near-death' experience.

Kwasi gasped, bouncing away in surprise as the branch his the ground, but the cub remained on it. But she didn't see that, not, her eyes were closed beneath her paws, and when she opened them, all she caught was Chokuto leaping to the ground.

"You're insane, " She huffed, brows furrowing, but she was still in quiet disbelief he hadn't broke his.. anything.

"Hmph," Makali huffed quietly in the direction of the girl as if he himself had hopped down safely from the tree branch. The gesture was meant to be a little, "he told you so," whether that message was the one that got across was a different story. He gave no more thought to the over-cautious female and padded over eagerly to the nest to take a peek, but he paused before he reached it. Man! That reeked! Still, he wanted to know what was in it. He stopped where he was. "What's in there?" His ears were perked all the way up, he paid almost no mind to the other two boys that were there, and absolutely no more mind to the female.

One track mind, just like Hasani. The young cub's curiosity got the best of him.

Like Makali did, Hasani ignored Kwasi's complaints about Choku's antics, scurrying forward after the silvery male to get second view of the nest. He stepped a bit closer to Choku's find than Makali did before the smell hit his nostrils and forced him to step back behind the other cub, as though Makali's body could prevent a shield to the stench. The bad odour didn't stop him peering curiously over Makali's back to keep looking at the nest, though.

He couldn't stop his nose from wrinklingin displeasure, however, and had to lift a paw to cover it in the end. He spoke from behind it, his voice muffled a bit. "Ugh! Why's it smell so bad?"

"Because birds poop on it. " Kwasi said, glad she wasn't the one carrying to stinky next. "Alot. " Ugh. Besides, the face Chokuto made at that revelation was priceless. She did take note on the being ignored part, though, and rolled her eyed. Boys!

Chokuo widened his eyes, releasing the birds nest so that it'd flop at at feet. "Eeeewww.. " He squinted and eyes, sticking his tongue out in disgust, but then hearing Makali's question, he blinked, sitting down and putting his paws to work. "I dunno yet, lets find out! " He said. This was one of those nests that the birds closed up, not just a little bed of twigs.

It wasn't long, though, before he opened it. Inside there were feathers, and like Kwasi said-- bird poop. But there was more! A dead chick. Not very long dead. He stuck his tongue out. "Hey, I bet if we bury it, soon it'll be just a skeleton! " He said, tilting his head.

She didn't feel like looking at the dead avian for long, it was quite.. disgusting. With a huff, Kwasi laid down a few feet away from the boys, roling her eyes. "Disgusting. " She muttered, not even sure why she was hanging around. Was she really this bored?
