..Most of you know Im a traditional artist... but Im in a digital class....and we've been dabbling in character painting. This is one of my characters, Sedri. I was just kind messin around with color and what not....and I kinda liked how she was comin....this is a progress shot...but she hasnt really changed much...

later we had to import the character into a photograph that we took of some sort of landscape...I thought the end product looked a little bit ridiculous but it was the assignment so you know...I had to do it...the colors are a bit wonky so sorry about that...lol...I just thought Id post it because it was sort of funny... xd :

Likewise it is amazing it blends a little, the only thing that I would really suggest is to change the season of the trees to blend with your charater.

This is excellent work, I would just make the tail a bit thinner, it's sort of out of proportion.

I think the trees should be a little lighter in color, they don't go together very well with the clothes of Sedri.

I think it would be alright if you didn't shadow Sedri's clothes as much, it'd probably be okay to let them be a little lighter, rather than having them so shadowed with the grey/black.

Otherwise, great job!

I have the same opinion thats been said, pretty much to give him less shadow than what he has. Look at the shadows on the trees and go by that, as for the tell i have no issue with the proportion i think its fine, however it does seem a bit flat. I would probably add a bit light shadow to define the roundness and shape of it were needed. Other than that i always love your stuff.
