depending on what side of the vampires history you should choose to believe, there are myths about vampires that arent true
1. Vampires do not turn into bats, there is no connection between vampires and bats except for one kind of bat known as the vampire bat that does drink blood
2. Vampires can be seen in mirrors and photographs. i dont even know where someone came up with that stupid myth
3. Most vampires can go in the sun, but most do not by preference. vampires are creatures of the night.
and that is all of them for now, if you know of anymore feel free to say so

Vampires are not allergic to garlic, though some have sensitive eyes and skin.. Which would be normal considering our senses are more sensitive then a normal human, and I say this because vampires are indeed still human.

Which would be normal considering our senses are more sensitive then a normal human, and I say this because vampires are indeed still human. Here is the things probably made up: - Garlic. Can't see this one working. - Cross. Well, your typical cross doesn't make any sense unless the vampire have sold his soul to the devil. - Burning in ashes. No way this work when you are running out in the sun. Sure, you will be likely to be blind looking at the sun but vampire have been dead for a while so it make sense that they are nocturnal being. - Biting turning you into vampire. MAKE... NO... SENSE. If you have 1/100th of vampire blood in your body, it isn't going to keep you alive. 1/10th might but come on, biting anyone doesn't make it spread through germ. Those things are some that bothers me. Although I have my own standard of what vampire is supposed to be like in my own story.

I said "in my own story." To be honestly, some myth of vampire tends to get carried off. However, I'm fine with how other people viewed vampire are but some of them seem a bit carried off.
*Cough*Neko,demon,dog,weirdmutatevampire.*Cough*
I just want to know what's true about vampire and which one are made up. Take a look at a chinese/japanese vampire or french's third n****e vampire. -.-

I know REAL vampires are just people who like to drink blood and all.
But I still like to imagine vampires as immortal, all powerful, etc... it just seems better that way..
Too bad there isn't any mythtic-like vampires out there, that would fullfill my life dream.

your right, i was saying things that are purely myth of all vampires, but there are differences between the different races, different country's have different things about vampires, but most of these are the things almost all vampires hold in common. only the over exaggerated stereotypical vampires that people use in stupid stories like dracula and the holloween vampires that most people know, but i know more about them, i research such things. and these are the main things that are over exaggerated, or complete lies.

Too bad there isn't any mythtic-like vampires out there, that would fullfill my life dream. vampires are powerful, and immortal, not invincible, but immortal, they do drink blood, just those stupid myths aren't true, there pretty much the same way you imagine except for those, but feel free to imagine anything, anyway you want, it is your mind

Ifrit, im glad im not the only one who researches on their curioseties in hope to establish a conclusion on things like Vampires or werewolves to officially close the fact or myth in our own head. Kudos
