A place far off but forever near risen high up looking down upon all. If the year cool air or snow filled winters doesn't get you the treachous climb will. For a ranger you must have a heart of pure and a will to do all things right no matter the chances of success is. But, to also be a Ranger you must be suitable for every kind of suitation. Must be able to put yourself through some of the most difficult of works. For all rangers the climb to the base is a memorable one. The climb is so long it is to remind those that seek such a status why they want to be a Ranger. A test of wits, cunning, and strength is all into this climb.

At the peak is the Headquarters of the Rangers. A complex of several stories unlike most bases this headquarters have rooms to spare to those that work here. At first glance it doesn't seem like much more like a tall strong lodge that you would commonly find in these type of mountains or forests. Able to keep all of the coldness out and the warmth in there is a great differance in temperature. Upon entering through the doors you would arrive at the base floor.

1st Floor - On entrance you are greeted to a calm serenity a recepionist desk set to the back wall. A woman, Luci, that is stationed here all year round is seated behind it in a cushioned chair. To the right of her is a top quality computer a plushie of Caterpie on top. Where the files on all the rangers are kept it is also the place that daily mail comes through requests from other cities. To the left is a phone that has numbers to some of their most requested clients and top Rangers at the base. Not far from that is a small bin where mail for the Rangers (mostly family, friends, or thank you letters) is kept before being handed out. There are draws on the inside of the desk out of public view where a second copy of all the Rangers files are kept in case something goes wrong with the computer network. It is under locked and key something not so easy to get into. All the way to the corner left of the room is a staircase that takes the guests/Rangers to the other floors. Along the walls horizontal to the front door is a row of chairs for people to sit in with a pair of small tables with Pokemon Magazines and newspaper. A cooler of water out for display in case anyone gets thirsty. A map of the region is displayed upon the wall behind Luci. There is a back room on this floor where storage for the food is kept after all we can't survive unless we have food now can we?

2nd Floor - The second floor is were rooms for Rangers are kept along with a larger room for a medical treatment area. After all there must be a place for both Ranger and pokemon to be treated if they were to require any kind of injury or illness. Each room for the Rangers are not big mind you but not very small either after all we want the Rangers to enjoy their rooms a bit don't we? The medical room have several beds in it up to six three on one side of the room and three on the other. Though small they have all the equipment they need to heal the injured. There is a Doctor Raphael that works in the room and a single nurse for they hardly get an injury where they needed any more staff or an injury that serious.

Basement - Only those of very high ranking (Leader, Co-Captain, Admin) can go to this level. This is where all the top important files are kept. The mission reports are kept here, all the lists of clients they ever had, any known criminals they have run across, and some deep background checks on some if not all the Rangers as well. It also contains the blue prints of the layout of the base along with trails that surround the mountain that can be used in case of an emergency.

The front desk computer screen flashed on to life as fingers lightly tapped upon the keyboard. Producing the faintest of sounds as to not wake the Rangers that slumbered still in their beds at five fifteen in the morning. By passing the files of the rangers the mouse went straight to the mission files. A mere glance over one of them told Mineshadow whether or not it was worth her time. Usually she was one of the first to get out of the base taking any mission on hand. As if staying at the base was unfamiliar to her even though she had been visiting the oak walls for years. This base was the first place that Mineshadow had repeatedily returned to. Like a ghost that is forever bound to a house or place Mineshadow too was bound to these familiar walls and sounds. Perhaps because in a way it reminded her of something else or someone else that was known long ago.

The dark bellow of a laugh drew the pair of saphire away from the screen to the far right of the room. Watching the menacing Gastly bounce back and forth through the vending machine cause the circutry inside to go haywire. Ghoasts were natural trickesters never a way to cease their actions it would be liking telling the waves of the ocean to cease their movement. Something that is impossible in todays world and forever will be. It was better to let the Gastly go at the vending machine less hassle than dealing with it when he picked at one of the Rangers.

'Organization Names' was the title of a file that was next in line for the ranger to look over. Clicking on the folder Mineshadow started to read the contents of the folder carefully. Swiftly reaching into the inner pocket of the red ranger vest a small leather bound book was pulled out with a fine ink pen. Quickly draughting down notes from the file before locking it back close placing it in the pocket. The Ranger started to close down the files and the network as the computer started the shut down mode. Luci WAS the only one allowed to access this computer except for the heads of the Ranger base. Even so Mineshadow didn't like being caught hacking into the computer in order to find a mission before everyone else. Actually, the reasons behind such actions was still unclear to others but she had her reasons.

The Gastly at the far end of the room was there before Aaron within a second conjuring up some spontanous image of a monster one might've seen in some horror movie or some kiddie spoke story. The vending machine it had left behind was still going a bit out of control a few fresh water bottles being dispensed out onto the floor. More than a clear sign that the menacing ghost pokemon had messed with the wires that worked the entire system of the machine. This would make it the third time this month that they had to fix the damn thing all because of Gastly.

With the computer screen shutting off all light within the room vanished. Amazingly enough Mineshadow's white skin and eyes were still a bit visible through the darkness. If the leader hadn't known Mineshadow was one of his members he perhaps would've mistaken her as a ghost one of the many unsettling features about this ranger that hit a nerve with nearly anyone. The layer of dark wouldn't last as a beam from a flashlight came on clearing out a path from Mineshadow to Aaron. Though the space between the two started to shorten any sounds of her movements were going unheard.

"Don't worry about those phone calls.." an emotionless voice stated. "If anything have Luci put a tap on our lines. So that we will be able to trace the source of the calls of this 'Stalker'."

During the course of her statement Gastly went from the monsterous form to that of a dark shadow. A large man with no distinct future representing itself as this 'Stalker' that Mineshadow was talking about. It was creeping up alongside of her before coming to a stop when her voice abrubtly ended. The gaze shifting from Aaron to the illusion a faint ripple accord a clear signal that it was about to change into something else. But, before it could even start the beam of the flash light shifted suddenly to Gastly which shrieked from the light returning to its natural gases form before bolting to the front desk barricading itself into a nice dark drawer. Mineshadow waited till she heard the thud of it closing before reaching over on the wall beside Aaron and switched the main light on. Revealing everything on the first floor to them while the flash light was turned off.

"The calls are not threatening...Trust me you'll know when they start heading there." Mineshadow stood there clasped in the male Ranger outfit instead of the females. It wasn't like her to wear feminine clothing and it was defiently a line of clothing that didn't suit a person like Mineshadow. The notebook pulled out once more coming to the notes she had just drotted down. "This 'Organization Names' I'm will to take up."

Jack yawned as he heard noises and muffled speach downstairs. "Ugh now what?" he asked himself. He whistled lowly and Riolu jumped down and stood beside him. "C'mon!" he said. Riolu hopped outside and down the stairs as soon as Jack opened the door. "UGH!" he whispered loudly. He ran after Riolu. As he rounded the corner he saw Aaron and Mineshadow. Jack snapped to attention and saluted quickly.


"So what's all the commotion?" Jack asked as he put his hands behind his head. Riolu walked up to Aaron, twirled, and bowed. He then ran back to Jack's side holding on to his leg.

Moments later Colette came downstairs as well with her pokemon Cleffa and saw all the commotion that was going on. "Hey um... what's going on?" she asked looking at Aaron and then to Jack. "Is there something wrong?"

"Well I was going to head out to the food court to feed Cleffa and Mudkip as well as myself. But I'll be free to RP in about fifteen minutes if that's ok." Colette asked hearing her stomach growl.

Aaron laughed. "Okay then, we RP today!" He says as he swings the keys around for the ZOIDS. He tosses a pair to Jack, and one to Colette.

"We're off to Viridian Forest!" He exclaims.
