It had been calm for a while now. Orianna had brought Lindsay back to Furyia to help with Eloisa's pregnancy and was waiting in port until Lindsay was free again. Itzel was thankful that his sister was back because as the time grew closer he had become jumpy as most expectant fathers are known to become. He paced around the house and fretted over Eloisa when he saw her move about. He was worse then a mother hen.

"Itzcoatl... STOP IT before I slam your head into something!" Lindsey snarled at her oldest brother fretting over the littlest thing. "Just get out of the room, do something, go down to Orianna's for a while. First birthings usually take a while," she said through gritted teeth as she whistled for Jenna to come help. Every since she arrived back in port, it has been nothing but chaos; Eloisa has been dilated but her waters haven't broken. If possible, she been making the pregnant mother walk around the room to induce labor for some time now. "If you want the waters to break.. then find a way to break it, don't just fret so much."
Eloisa Lynn just merely walking around the room slowly. All she could do was listen to them bicker and Itzcoatl worrying himself to practical death. "He's not going change that," she added whimisically.
"Its becoming painfully obvious to notice," Lindsey said as she eyes Itzcoatl. "You can always have sex and break it," she added, smiling too cheerfully at Itzcoatl, knowing the fact she had a 20 percent chance that he was going slap her for that suggestion.
Eloisa Lynn smiles slightly at that horrible suggestion, but nevertheless she continued to walk around like it was nobody's business to bother her. "AHH!" she screamed, clutching the wall as a moderate contraction hit her.
"So are you going to go with Orianna after this or will I have to take your place again?" Lindsey asked Itzcoatl, while watching Eloisa Lynn. "You know I got no objections to taking your place since you're getting paid for being here," she offered as she sighed, and lean back in her chair. Right about now, she was missing Orianna terribly. When she heard the scream, Lindsey jumped up from her seat and blinks, looks at Eloisa Lynn before she looked at Itzcoatl. "Well, help her to the bed!" she ordered her eldest brother.

The elder man jumped into action even as his sister barked at him. It was clear that his sister had found her toungue while at sea. He helped his love to the bed and then got out of the way. He had no idea what else to do for the moment other then stay clear of Lindsay and maybe hold Eloisa's hand to help her deal with the pain.

"Ok Itzel.. you can stay here until she gets to ael, then you have to stay out of the room. It's not vydaes for the husband to be in the room, in your case lover," Lindsey said as she moved around, arranging the things in order she would supposedly need them. First was the empty bowl which would be needed for hot water, 3 cloth towels, and a old-fashioned razor to cut the umbilical cord. "Just talk to her... don't go deep into anything or else shes going to do something very var to you," Lindsey murmured as she moved to Eloisa, then started to adjust the bedding, and pulled back the sheets. "Ok is this poryrardi?" she asked Itzcoatl, referring to the bed mattress.
Eloisa Lynn sat up on the bed as she allowed Lindsey to do what she needed to do; contractions were hitting her occasionally, but she couldn't stand the pain it was causing her. Now she got a new respect for mothers everywhere. "What happens at ael?" she asked, repeated the elvish word for eight.
"At ael? You will start to hate every male on this lands," Lindsey offered, obviously slightly pleased that her eldest brother's lover had learnt a few words; it wasn't to her knowledge that the laboring woman was simply repeating the word. "Itzcoatl.. just hold her hand, if she squeezes hard let me know," the young elf mentioned to Itzcoatl as she moved out of the way to retrieve a few things. "You both decided on names?" she asked, as she started to clean the metal blade of the razor.

Itzel took his love's hand in his own and nodded even as he talked about names. "The oldest of them will be named Quinn and the other will be Niccolo. Right dear?" He tried to look calm. He tried to look relaxed. Tried was the operative word. He was excited and nervous and worried all at once. But he did try to look calm. He was trying to be calm but that was much harder then one would think.

Eloisa Lynn jumped the gun at that moment. "How did you know they were boys?!" she asked, seemingly to remember that she never told him about the sex of their babies.
Lindsey looked up, from Eloisa Lynn to Itzcoatl. "I think he was speaking in hopeful terms. Our kind strive to bring in more boys," she said, spoking the second sentence a bit lowly before she wiped the metal blade down carefully

Itzel looked surprised at Eloisa but chuckled a little. "I was going to say our girl name picks next but I guess I don't need to now." He leaned down and kissed her cheek lightly while still holding her hand. "You are so beautiful Eloisa." He then smiled at his sister sure she was making some sort of face at his remarks. "You know I think I would like to spend a few months here with the little ones and Eloisa before I go with Orianna. Just to answer your much earlier question. Though I am sure that will make the merchant very happy indeed."

"Something tells me Orianna will be very happy," Lindsey mentioned as she grins deviously at Itzcoatl and chuckles lightly, then nods at the couple. She then moved to Eloisa Lynn and lifted the blanket to check the dilation; afterwards, she ordered Jenna to keep hot water on hand if she needed it to sterile the instruments. "So I got nephews.. what their last name? To be honest, I can't envision Varun-James as a last name myself but its your children," she murmured, smiling slightly in the process.
Eloisa Lynn just blushed furiously at that moment. Uh Oh, she just spoiled the surprise for Itzcoatl. "Um.. yeah," she said, doesn't know what else to say at that moment

With a light squeeze from his hand, Itzel also stroked his other hand through his hair. "They will both be named Varun. We talked about it while at the beach." He then brought her hand up to his lips. "I had clues my dear. I had my suspitions. And let us not forget that they aren't out yet. I can't wait to see them."

Eloisa Lynn looked up in the direction of Itzcoatl, then smiles shyly as if it was a part of her exterior and nodded in agreement. "Mm I love you," she murmured, then winces hard that causes her hand that Itzcoatl was holding to squeeze in the same manner.
Lindsey made a gagging sound in the background, then smirks at Itzcoatl as if she was innocent. "She has a few more until she reaches ael, then you're in trouble, big boy," she said sweetly, but it came out more evil-like.

As her hand squeezed his, Itzel touched her face lightly. He glanced back at his sister wondering what in hevan's name she was talking about and why she sounded menicing. "I bet you get much the same with your captain." He said to his sister before looking back at his love.

Lindsey just grins maliciously at Itzcoatl before she went back to check Eloisa Lynn's progress. "It seem you'll be ready soon enough. She's at ael right now so contractions will be hitting hard any moment," she said lightly before she looks down at Itzcoatl. "So stay or leave?"
Eloisa Lynn was just sitting here half-way up to relieve tension in her lower back; but before she knew it a rather hard contraction hit her causing her hand to practically crush Itzel's hand.

Itzel's faces winced in pain as Eloisa gripped his hand hard. "You said it wasn't proper to stay in here after ael." He directed this to his sister but he knew he wouldn't be much more help. He looked down at his love and then nodded. "What is the last possible time before I have to go?"

"I give you a few minutes before she needs practices control," Lindsey said directly at her eldest brother Itzcoatl then got up from her crouching position by the bed and went straight up to him. "Shyraes Ai cyrn o tal's mi os jhyli ail val, sher ais o shor, o tal mae eil oraes caes tystys eir mi car ei jhyl vodi eindaer os caes byrn," she said comfortingly in their native language and took his hand and pat it reassuringly the best she could.
"Ialaesal?" Lindsey asked him, then released his hand before she went back over to Eloisa Lynn James, the well known but discreeted psychic of the Furyia Island. "Breathe in and out slowly. If you feel the need to squeeze or scream, do so. Don't hold back," the young female elven had crooned, very unlike her. "Good thing you're so young. You have it easy. I've seen old given birth with great unease," she murmured, then removed herself from the bed side. "We have to be very careful. One birth is easy enough, but twins are hard," she spoke with her eldest brother Itzcoatl about the slight dangers surrounding the births of twins itself.
Eloisa Lynn screamed mildly in pain as she lolled her head to the side. "I can't do it.. I can't do it," she moaned slightly. "I dont want to do this..I just can't do it!" she protested languidly from the bed.
[ First Translation: Brother I know you can't see your love in pain, but if you wish, you can stay and offer her comfort as she has a long ride ahead of her now.
Second Translation: Understand? ]

"You can love. I know you can. Hold my hand. I will not leave you." Itzel said as he looked at his sister letting her know that that was his choice. He hated seeing his diviner like this but she needed him now. He would not desert her no matter the cost. "Eloisa squeeze my hand. Hold it tight and take deep breathes. In....and out..." The poor elf tried to help her deal with the pain and keep himself calm.
