Yes, this is a general chat thread. Kill Hybrid I have to wonder, what the ******** is it with NIN fans? Just a contrast between groups of fans, where you have the obsessive-compulsive group, who pretty much solved the Year Zero ARG. Then you have the group that obsessively writes horrid fanfic about Trent rubbing his nose on the writers pubic region while going down on them. It's mystifying to a certain extent, but being a Tool fan, I can easily believe how diverse and wretched a band's fanbase can be. Thoughts? Perhaps if this guild had less serious topics and more "and then trent, with his little perfect drug goatee, nomnomnom'd me for hours ^-^" threads, this guild wouldn't be so utterly dead.

People... really write that stuff? Wow... that really shouldn't surprise me, I suppose, I've seen some pretty awful fanfic out there...
I've been... disappointed by the fan base as well. When I was in college I worked a Hot Topic for a year and a half, and it was pretty depressing. I think I lost respect for most people who claimed to be fans of anything... except overpriced merchandise, I suppose.
But wow... I really hope we don't have to resort to those tactics to make the guild more active... because yuck!

The only merch I'll ever bother getting from Hot Topic are band shirts, but even that's becoming a cliche thing to say. I always enjoy going into Hot Topic, not to see any mallgoths basically modeling an entire clothing rack already, but little Jimmy with all black clothes on and his mom and dad looking confused and bewildered as their son is asking them to buy some huge pants with chains and zippers all over.
I wouldn't stoop to that level for activity haha. I enjoy knowing that, while there are other guilds for these bands, we're the only one that doesn't have topics about Trent going down on a fanfic writer or what it would feel like if Maynard ******** you with a 12 inch plastic toy. Or a captain that begs for gold.

xD
You crack me up.
Anyway, yes, it is nice to be in a guild with integrity. I'd rather have low amounts of activity compared to THAT kind of activity.

A good core group. Should have a mini satire RP contest just for kicks, though. I think there's a really wretched NIN RP from somewhere, probably fanfiction.com DX in the Barnes and Noble or whatever-I-named-it subforum.

Please, no.
You already ruined the phrase "omnomnom" for me. Possibly forever. I don't know if I could take any more!

Hahahahah
It was funny seeing people searching for deep and mysterious themes behind the songs on the Puscifer album.

Well, with Momma Sed, there were the obvious mother issues that Maynard has shown us in each of his former projects. So at least I knew it was really him...
Like I've said, Indigo Children was interesting...
I liked the part in Sour Grapes where he sung about sour grapes, but the song was serious enough that the blatant attempt at some kind of heresy was lost on me.
I didn't hate dozo.
Queen B grew on me a little.
That's about all the nice things I can say about the album.

Kill Hybrid Hahahahah It was funny seeing people searching for deep and mysterious themes behind the songs on the Puscifer album. I didn't as enjoy the Puscifer album as much, and people i suppose will try to look for meaning behind everything. After finally seeing them live at a music festival in Australia 1 year ago, they are phenomenal sound. Still am waiting for the next time they tour which i believe is this year. Checking the TOOLSHED every few weeks. I wonder what the next album will be like then?

Well I believe Maynard said at some show that it was their last show for 10,000 Days, so I don't think they'll be touring until they've put out another album. Personally, I'd rather they take all the time they need to make another great piece of music instead of being rushed by the label or whining fans.

At least I spared you from the worst, which was apparently deleted. I know this isn't exact, but it was along the lines of "...n then i gigled as his nose tickled my c**t while going down on me whee "
DX Poor guy.
