Well Gordon has 4 cup championships so noone can deny that he's good. Jr on the other hand don't have any yet, so looking at statistics Gordon is better than Jr, so I don't think the question is who is better, cause evidence says that Gordon is better, he's also been driving longer that Jr. So I think it would be more correct to ask who you like more. Now out of thoose two I prefer Jr (he's grown on me razz ), and I think that he will get more than one championship title, but right now Gordon is better.
did that make any sense?

Jeff Gordon is better, AND he's driven an F1 car before, which is just about every driver's dream.

I don't think any joe would win 5 races in a season. Gordon is the best out there however. He has the talent, and the experience to maybe get 8 championships.

I'd like to see Gordon get 8 someday. He'd really deserve it if it happened, and maybe it would be his way of telling all his haters, "PWNED!"

Look at the states...its obvious who is better. Jeff Gordon all the way. I don't care what any of you have to say.....he is the BEST!

Now while statistics point at Gordon being the better driver, what you have to realize is that Gordon has been at it longer the Jr and therefore it would show him as being better.
To tell you the truth I really wouldn't have posted on this thread because I don't like the whole who's better questioning, but after today's race I decided what the hey!
I also noticed many answered this question based on their driver perferneces. Well, I don't root for either so I can answer this truthfully and with judgement clouding my vision.
They are both good drivers and I don't think one could peg one as better then the other. While Gordon may have a head start on Jr, I don't doubt that one day he will be as good as the best.
