Setting: Roughly 100 years after Ocarina of time

Story: Though the Gerudo wars have been over for nearly a decade, animosity still lingers over the land of Hyrule. In the name of Peace, the King of Hyrule promises his daughter's hand in marriage to the leader of the Gerudos, a twenty-five year old by the name of Gannondorf. However, this peace is the last thing on the man's mind, like his anscestor, Gannon is truly after the triforce.AS most of the hero of TIme's legend was erased, Gannon knows very little of his anscestor and his defeat, but thrugh the royal archives finds out the truth via a single passage written by the old princess Zelda. At that point he learns that Zelda holds the second piece of the triforce but since Link was never an important person, his anscestors and his life after his hero life is a mystery. Of course the Scrolls do reveal however that the original Gannon was sealed away by the sages. And so as he begins his search for the holder of the triforce of courage, he sends his Gerudos out to kidnapp the anscestors of six ofthe seven Sagwes.

Meanwhile, Link is simple a farmhand at his mothers stable along with a girl whose name is currently not decided upon, who takes care of the cows and chickens and such asd a part time job. One day, a gerudo comes and kidnapps his friend, and so, grabbing his anscestors rusted sword, Link takes after the gerudo and his new adventure has begun.

Character/Writer Profiles

Gannondorf- Who ever applies for the part of Gannon must not only be a big Zelda fan, but an experienced writer and online often.

The Friend- Links friend must also be a semi talented writer, though she will only be slightly more important then the other 5 sages. She should be either the Sage of the Forrest or the Sage of light, since I can't really think of how Saria could even have a human ancestor.

Remaining sages- The remaining sages must all be descendants of the OoT Sages and completely unaware that they are indeed sages. This writer will also be allowed to create the enemy of their particular temple and control it. Those taken on the roles of Sages will also take on the Part of one of Gannon's gerudo warriors (Who are all women, even if the writer is male). Also to increase the interactions of the sages to give them all personalities, each person's gerudo will kidnapp a different sage. It goes as follows, Forrest sage/Fire gerudo, Fire sage/ Water gerudo, Water sage/ Shadow gerudo, Shadow sage/ Spirit gerudo, Spirit sage/ Light gerudo, Light sage/ Forest gerudo.

Gerudos: Though I say Fire Gerudo, I do NOT mean this as a gerudo with Fire magic, I simply mean the one who kidnaps the fire sage. All Gerudos are women, but men are encouraged to take up the parts, seeing as gerudos are not particularly feminine and I don't want all female sages (Though now that I think about it 5/7 were girls in OoC XD and all were female in a Link to the past and Four sword.... wow sexist sages XD, though I think they were all male in Twilight Princess.) For the most part, the six gerudos will act as servants to Gannon, and before and after the kidnapping will act as his entourage and advisors.

History: Raised on his family's farm, Link grew up being told stories of his
Great great grandfather, the Hero of time. But as he grew older, Link stopped believing his mother's stories, afterall how could a man who did so many heroic things be unknown by the rest of the world. Link lives with his mother and a few stable hands on LonLon Ranch. His father left to fight in the Gerudo war when he was eight months old and was killed in battle. Because he was so young at the time, his father's death had very little impact on Link's life.

Age: 17
History: At Zelda's birth, the war was still raging. In a misguided attempt to shield her from the danger and bloodshed, the King kept his daughter confined to the castle for the first seven years of her life; even after the war was over she was seldom allowed out, and then only with the traditional seven chaperons. Zelda coped by learning as much as she could on any subject and every subject. She studied the history of Hyrule in the castle archives, tricked sword and archery lessons out of the castle guards, and studied magic from the crumbling scrolls written by her great-great grandmother, Zelda the first.

Eventually Zelda stumbled onto material concerning the triforce, and realized she was connected to her great-great grandmother by more than just blood. Unfortunately, there was little more material on the subject, just enough to know that there were two other possessors of triforces, one a Gerudo thief named Gannondorf who was imprisoned in the sacred realm, and the other a boy whose name was lost to time. Zelda thought it was likely he and the legendary Hero of Time were one and the same, but the library was strangely silent about him as well, except for the usual legends concerning slaying dragons and possessing a magical eye that could see the invisible.

Unfortunately, her attempts at research were cut short by her father's announcement of her betrothal to a Gerudo named Gannondorf. After that, she understandably had other things on her mind.

Character: Ganondorf
Sage: …no, I don’t think Ganondorf is a sage.
Race: Gerudo
Age: 25
History: Ganondorf is, in fact, a relative of the infamous Ganondorf, but not by the man himself – instead by Ganondorf’s aunt. This female line carried down to the modern Ganondorf, making him three or four generations down the line.
Ganondorf himself, as all male Gerudos are, was raised from birth as a leader, preparing to take his position as ruler. Surprisingly, however, the young Gerudo was never overly ambitious (although he did have dreams). Part of his education lead him to be quite book-wise, although he never did gain any grand love for reading. He made a reasonably good leader, looking to his people in particular (if only to avoid rebellion) before going out to war or anything of the such. His reign continued somewhat peacefully until disaster struck. Famine began threatening the already food-shortened desert, and drought seemed more and more likely. Forced to rely on imports from foreign nations, particularly Hyrule, Ganondorf got the thought that alliance and even perhaps conquest would benefit him and his people in more than one way. Deciding to start with alliance and see where it led, he built up some degree of military bulk, threatening Hyrule’s borders, waiting for the king to offer his daughter. His wait wasn’t incredibly long, either.
Appearance:
Personality: Ganondorf is not quite the power-insane dominator his ancestor was. He’s relatively book-learned (already mentioned), and although he does look out for his own good first, he does keep his people in his heart (although it’s more out of a sense of duty.) He does have a somewhat short temper, a non-overwhelming but strong bit of ambition, and an extremely minor case of paranoia, but despite all that he’s ruler not only because of gender but because of aptitude and intelligence.

Gorons

Character: Vladamir ‘Vladie’
Age: around Sofia’s age
Appearance:
Bio: Vladie is Sofia’s best friend, and he taught her everything she knows that she didn’t learn from Njord. He hates being called Vladie, but Sofia enjoys it. He has no idea that far enough down the line, he and Sofia are related.

Character: Gustaf
Age: Old enough to be Sofia’s father
Appearance:
Bio: Gustaf is Vladie’s father and cares for Sofia as if she was his own daughter. He was great friends with Sofia’s father, and vowed to the man that he would see the girl grew up into a fine young lady. He currently leads the Gorons.

Character: Njord
Age: Old enough to be Sofia’s grandfather
Appearance:
Bio: Njord taught Sofia almost everything she knows about Goron life and Hyrulian history. He is the elder of the Gorons, and is Gustaf’s father, thus also being Vladie’s grandfather. He alone knows of Sofia’s ancestry, but will not tell her.

Character: King Nicoli Damien Hyrule
Race:Hylian
Age: 45
History: Since the Death of his Father at the begining of the Gerudo war eightteen years before, Nicoli has ruled over Hyrule, trying his best to do what was right for his people. Recently I has seemed though that what was best, would be for him to give up his daughter to the King of the Gerudos.

Personality: Noble and kind, though at times alittle stubborn.

Character: King Zora the IV
Race: Zora
Age: Old
History: He deeply cares about his daughter, Kohana. Thus when she disappears, he goes frantic. He is starting to get ill, however, and the Zora nurse, although she hasn’t revealed this yet, believes that he might pass away soon.

Character: Bowie
Race: Hylian
Age: 14
History: Bowie is the younger brother to Gustave, and is pretty enjoyable to be around. Sometimes... He can be anoying to Gustave, but, to others, he seems pretty playful. He usually sneaks along with his brother when he goes on errands outside of their village.

Age: 82
Role: She runs the bomb shop in Kakariko Village
Appearance: An elderly, jolly Hylian woman with long grey hair and lively blue eyes. Her hair is always smouldering. She wears a simple tunic and sandals.

Name: Jasper
Age: 18
Role: He is Tetana's grandson, Sofia likes him. He often runs errands for Tetana to Hyrule City at the least conveniant times for Sofia.
Appearance: A young Hylian man with brown hair and blue eyes. He has somewhat of a stocky build and is quite muscly.

Character: Alana
Race:Hylian
Age: 42
History: Alana is the great grand daughter of the Hero of Time and mother of the current Link. Since she was young, she was taught sword training by her father, the grandson of the Hero of Time, while balancing her farm chores. When her son was born, the spiritual stone of the forrest glowed brightly, and so she knew he was destined for something great. Unlike her father, Alana allowed her son to grow up normally, and unaware of his destiny.
Appearance: Alana, like all Hylians, has long elfen ears. Her dirty blond hair is usually pulled back in a pony tail sitting high om her head. she is about an inch shorter then her son and is usually seen whering a dress similar to Malons though is not afraid to through on a pair of jeans and put in a hard day of work.

Character: Wyatt
Race: Hylian
Age: deceased at 29 (if alive 44)
History: As a teenager, Wyatt began working at a nearby Ranch where he met the love of his life. Years later, the two were married and had a son named Link. Things seemed perfect, until of course, Wyatt was asked to join in the war effort. He served for three years before at last dying in battle

Apperance: Blond and clean shaven, he was 6'1 at the time of his death. His eyes were blue. His bangs fell at about his eyebrows and his hair when loose fell down to his shoulders in the back, though normally it was tied back in a small pony tail at the bottom or the back of his head.

Character Name: Moria
Race: Kokiri
Age: Uncertain; she bears the appearance of an unusual fourteen, however.
History: Being a Kokiri, Moria has, up to a point, no unusual history, besides being one of the few living beings to frequent the Lost Woods. However, at about the time that Sir Hyn disappeared into the woods, Moria became aware that someone had entered the Lost Woods, and shockingly not become just that - lost. Curious, she went to meet the man, and discovered him to be a kindly swordfighter. Since she was essentially his only friend during his years hidden away in the woods, she ended up being the recipient of a surprisingly large amount of martial training, the end result being that she's actually something of a fighter.
Appearance: Moria is tall, especially for both a Kokiri and essentially being fourteen - she's a full 5' 10". Her hair is cut at her shoulders, and is a dark brown. Her eyes are a similar shade of brown. She's built fairly slim, and generally dresses in the Kokiri fashion, namely a mid-thigh-length, sleeveless tunic, belted at the waist, as well as a pair of simple boots.
Weapon:When the need arises, Moria knows the location of the Kokiri Sword, although she's never actually used it before. She also has possession of a simple wooden shield (a necessity, if you're going to fight Hyn's style.)

Race: Gerudo
Age:15
History: A childhood friend of Lyra's, Tara is fairly airheaded and tends not to see the big picture. Like most of the girls her age, Tara stayed behind at the Fortress.

Weapon: Bow and Arrow, often times she forgets to gather more after using her arrows.

Age: 36
History: Kia was born into service to Ganondorf and fully enjoys it. She has vowed to serve the man until he dies. Kia loves music and can often be found sitting in a corner, playing her ocarina. But when Ganondorf gives her an order, she is immediately ready to carry it out.

Weapon: She keeps several throwing knives concealed in her clothing in addition to a rapier at her side

Age: 26
History: Inariie was born just a year before Gannondorf, and was his playmate as long as he was allowed to have one. Even though she was the elder, he was always in charge, and she is so used to following him that she doesn't even think about it. She is used to him being the way he is, and is one of his most steadfast and loyal followers.
Appearance: Inarrie has the usual dusky skin and long, bright red hair of a Gerudo, and wears white clothing designed for easy movement. Her nose is a bit long for traditional beauty, but her large amber eyes make her a beauty nonetheless.
Weapon: Two sickles.

Character: Arryl Donston
Sage: NA – Gerudo of Fire
Race: Gerudo
Age: 26
History: Arryl was supposed to be raised to become a loyal soldier of Ganondorf’s, to be a submissive fighter, to live her life out fighting for the cause of someone she didn’t care for. She didn’t do that. While she holds a pretense of being loyal to the Gerudos, every action she takes in some way benefits her, and that’s the way she intends to keep it. In the long run, she’s aiming for her own power, by whatever means become necessary. If that means staying underneath those with power until her chance arrives, so be it.
Appearance: Arryl isn’t particularly tall, standing at only 5’ 8” or thereabouts (for that matter, she’s pretty short). Brilliant red hair, cut at about her shoulderblades and allowed to hang loose the majority of the time, is mostly what makes her stand out from the crowds. Her eyes are sea-green, though there’s always a hint of malice and calculation about them. She (for a desert-er) seems to overdress, but largely makes up for it with half of her clothing being extremely fine netting, tight enough to make it almost bear the appearance of normal cloth. She wears a full shirt, although all but a strip around her chest is net. Her legs she covers with loose, long pants, though the outside halves are nets as well. She does have hourglass shape, and she’s pretty enough, but she’s no stunner.

History: Nalani lived the first part of her life with no Gannondorf, and secretly thinks that the Gerudos were better off before his birth. She doesn't think about it too much, though; her true passion is fighting, and followers of Gannondorf are certainly promised plenty of that. She has a short fuse and is very impatient; there is nothing she hates more than biding her time.

History: Sila despises Gannondorf. She really does. But she forces herself to work for him to gain his respect, for she harbours a secret that could get her killed. She basically relies on the man to protect her. She loves to fight and will try her very best to win any fight she enters, whether it be physically or verbally…

Weapon: An old sword with a ruby in the hilt
Idea for a twist: This has to do with the secret mentioned above. Many years ago, before Gannondorf was born, she organized a small group of Gerudos and stole the Master Sword from the tomb of the Hero of Time. She has no regrets, saying, “He is dead. It doesn’t matter who has the sword,”
After she retrieved the sword, she killed everyone who helped her and hid the sword in a cave in the desert that only she knows about. The sword remains hidden to this day.

Age: 22
History: Artemis was only four years old when the wars started and began her training on it’s very first day. Before the days of Gannon, her mother was the leader of the Gerudos and as such, Artemis received some of the best training of the Gerudos her age though spent much of her time taking care of her younger sister Lyra. At the age of twelve, Artemi’s mother was killed in battle. Deep in grief, the girl began to devote herself to her training, basically ignoring her infant sister except for the bare necessities such as food.

if they have major histories send them, if not, no worries. I'm actually very happy yyou did that though, to many people are to afraid to make thier own NPCs, but I do it all the time

So Takerucoh and I were talking, and we realized that we're asking everyone for samples of their writing but not giving any of our own; as such, we've decided to write a short scene where Link and Zelda meet for the first time, very briefly. To clarify, this does not mean the RP is ready for people to start posting; we don't even have a Gannondorf yet. It is so you all don't have to slog through a bunch of our RPs if you want to know how good we are.
