The male cheetah began to walk threw the jungel floor. He was on his way home after meeting his sister after a very long time of being away from the jungel. He had not realized how he missed her and this place so. His heart began to grow heavy as he pase slowed as he stopped and looked ahead of him. He stopped as if something was bloking his way home. He looked down at his semi muddy paws as he noticed a tear drop onto it.
"What...what is going on." He said to himself silently as he chocked back the rest of his tears.

Halili hadn't stretched out like this in sooo long! Well, after that one not so great meeting with that black leopard, she didn't wander too far away from Majani anymore. But so much time had passed since then, she decided to try and explore again. Maybe today she'd find something other then a leopard. Sure, most of the one she met were nice, but they just weren't the same as another lion.
Her ears swiveled around her head as she heard something. Oohh? Hopefully it wasn't Kenna teasing her again! While she did love her motherly figure in her life, sometimes Kenna was a little too annoying to deal with. ANd Halili hadn't seen her in a while, so maybe she was returning soon?
Halili's trotted around, looking moreso up into the air then the where she was going. She stepped straight into a puddle because of this. "Oh!" she exclaimed, surprised that she had managed to ger her legs all splashed with muddy water. She then noticed a while figure in front of her. "Oh?" Neat! "Umm...Hi there?" she called out, not sure if she should walk much closer. Juuust in case they weren't the nicest kitty around.

Amile noticed he wasn't alone as he shook his head as if all his confused emotion where shaken or put at bay for the time being. He was never one to just openly show emotions ever since his long journy to find the one he searched for.
"He-hello." He said chocking a little as he stood up incase the feline was wanting something more then a little unexscpected chat.

Halili's tail swished behind her as she cocked her head to the side. Was it upset? Maybe...maybe it would be alright if she got just a liiittle bit closer. The tiger-striped lioness took a few more steps closer to notice that it was a cheetah. Wow! She hadn't seen one of those in the jungle, ever. And she hadn't seen one period in a looong time. Living in one spot kind of made you miss things.
"Are...you okay? Are you hurt?" She couldn't see if he was limping or something, but she really wasn't close enough to judge that, either. Her emerald green eyes shyly peeked around his frame, of what she could see, but...nothing troubling. Hmm.

"Ha! No don't you worry about me miss I'm quite fine." He said giving her a fake smile as he sat down and wrapped his tail around his feet. hee seemed a bit insecure about something but it was only known to him. He took a deep breath before nodding a little.
"What brings a feline like you out her?" He asked only meeting a female lion once before and she had been very small.

Halili completely believed what the cheetah said, since she had no reason not to. Maybe he was upset over something, but what if he was always that way? Halili didn't know, and she wasn't going to pry into anything that she didn't have place to. Besides, cheerful conversation was just so much more fun!
"Oh! Well, Halili lives here, that's why~! She loves it too. Do you live here, mister...?" She really didn't know his name, obviously, but instead of just directly asking for it, she twisted her trailed off statement into a question. She hadn't seen him before, but then again, she hadn't really seen anyone else in the jungle lately. Not even her awesome friend Keone.

The cheetah male looked curiously at this female. "I see my name is Amile though many call me Miles you may chose what you prefer." He said calmly.
"Living here is nice I'm quite glad of being back." He said as he looked to the sky seeing the canopy.

"Oooh, Amile? What a nice name!" the lioness chirped. It was a very nice name, and flowed off the tongue nicely! "Aahh...uuhh I...I'm Halili," she struggled, still trying to get used to speaking in first person, and not referring to herself in third person. Someday she might get over it! ...maybe.
Halili bobbed her head brightly. "I like it here too, especially when it rains! Nothing is prettier then watching the rain fall when you're under a tree..." She daydreamed for a moment about spending the day with Majani under a tree. Ooh, so nice~ silly girls and their day dreams. Oops! "Back? So you went on a fun trip?"

He chuckled a little as his tail began to loosen around him as the end flicked. "Haha well not completely true."
He said as he looked to her. As he looked down to his light blue front paws as he thought about the little leopon he had gone to find. He did just that but when they returned hell and seemed to broken loose upon their families. He took a deep breath before he smiled a little.
"Ahh well have long have you been here Halili?"

"Halili's lived here for a while!" the lioness exclaimed brightly, a warm smile falling upon her face. "Well, not forever maybe, I moved here with my friend Majani when we were both adolescents. So I still don't know everything about here, and I don't go exploring too much anymore..."
Her mind wandered off for a moment, just as her paws had normall done when she was a bit younger. Not that she was old! Never!
"Can Halili guess that you've been here your whole life?" she asked the cheetah, curious. Maybe he knew of some super secret things that were really cool! Or something fun like that.

"Well yes and no. I was born here but I did leave when I was a juvinel and returned only when I became a adolescent." He said as he smirked he then stood and looked to her.
"You thristy?" He asked as he sniffed the air trying to see where he was and how far water was. He then stood and slowly made his way to a near by stream. He did not move quickly knowing she could easily be lost since he being a cheetah he could move fast threw the jungel ground.

"Oohhh," Halili replied with a nod. So well, then he must know some things! She was just about to ask him about them, her emerald eyes sparkling, when he mentioned getting some water.
"That sounds good!" she replied again, noticing that he had already started to look for the water source. She follwed behind him quietly, pretending that she was in charge of making sure that the two of them were safe. With such a low number of predatory animals in the jungle though, they were probably perfectly safe where they were without the guard duty that Halili took up.

Amile abruptly stopped as he came to a large ditch. It was one he knew well. He had fallen down it when he was just a cub from being wounded and not abel to see from his tears. He stared at it then he turned to the female lion.
"Ummm well not afraid of hights are you?" He saked choking on some mild discomfort.

"Woooaaah," was the first thing that the lioness said as she peered over the edge. While it wasn't huge huge, if you weren't careful it sure could hurt if you fell! While she wasn't afraid of heights, she still felt like the ground right up to the edge of the ditch didn't feel quite secure. She backed up a bit, still craning her neck to take another peek at the area below it.
"Wow, Halili never knew that this was here!" she exclaimed. She didn't even know jungles could have things like this! She'd better learn to be careful when she went exploring now, so she'd never fall down one of those. "It seems kinda deeep," she chirped, looking back at Amile.

Amile gulped then closed his eyes and the opened them as he moved ofer to a large tree that had fallen over from lightning hitting it and killing it. It was large and tall enough that it was the perfect size for the two to walk across side by side and still have some room.
"Okay now of never." He said going first as he jumped up onto it. It creeked and a branch snapped under presure but the tree stay in place thankfully.
