I guess alot of you guys have read Ninja Turtle comics, and probably even some fan comics, too. What do you think were some of the best ones, or best issues? What moments did you really like? =] There's a fancomic called MNT Gaiden, and it's really good. The artist is still working on it, too, so it's always continuing. Here's a link to the site. I cried after reading the prologue. It's really nicely done, and the characters are so well portrayed.

I cried after reading the prologue. It's really nicely done, and the characters are so well portrayed. Oh my, where to begin? wink I am fortunate enough to have read many of the TMNT comics out there. I read comics from the original Mirage, Image, Dreamwave, Archie, and the new Mirage series. The original Mirage line was my favorite of them all. My favorite series was "Tales of the TMNT." Each issue in the series presented a story of the turtles' past. The dialogue, artwork, and most importantly, the stories were fantastic. Same goes for the "City at War" arc. 3nodding I haven't been keeping up with the new comics because my comic shop stopped carrying them... I get my turtle fix through eBay for the newer comics. wink

I have read MNT Gaiden. It is great, and I look forward to every page of every chapter Tigerfog does.

Dburger-- Wow! That's really cool. You're well-versed in the comics, then, hehe. Does that mean they're still published and stuff? (You mentioned "newer" comics) Leonardo Mystic-- Yeah! He came up with that storyline and does all that art on his own. I think he does an awesome job. =] (Off-topic, but... are any of you guys on DA?)

(You mentioned "newer" comics) Yep, they're still published! There are two current publications -- Tales of the TMNT (vol. 2) and TMNT (vol. 4). There was also one that was unfortunately cancelled -- the Dreamwave volume. They're all pretty good, I'd recommend checking them out if you can find them. Go to http://www.ninjaturtles.com and click the "Comics" link on the left-hand side if you'd like to know more about them. 3nodding

I just picked up original Tales of #3, 4, and 5, and original series #32 at Half Price Books. It's the only place in town that carries old issues of TMNT.

Yes, I've checked that out. Thanks! Have you guys ever tried to make a fancomic? Maybe even mini-comics or fanart, perhaps?

Drake Elias Zephyr Yes, I've checked that out. Thanks! Have you guys ever tried to make a fancomic? Maybe even mini-comics or fanart, perhaps? Most welcome. ^^ I've done some minor fanart here and there... I even submitted some of my works to Mirage Studios' art contest. As for making a fancomic, I've never tried... I know it takes a very dedicated person to create a fancomic -- lots of time, effort, and hours spent in closed quarters. I guess I haven't had the time to start one. I do, however, enjoy reading other people's fan art/comic works. 3nodding

I draw, too. =] And yes-- you have to admire comic artists for their patience.

I look forward to seeing some of your art!
