Delilah walked happily down a little path. She was glad to finally have something to occupy herself with. The day had been boring up until now, when she could spend time with her friend Blomst. She enjoyed his company more than she admitted and was glad to take this walk alone with him.
Delilah looked around trying to find something familiar. She wasn't really sure where she was going. The surroundings all seemed so new to her and she was totally lost. She looked to her friend to see what he was thinking. "Do you know where we are going?" she asked with a smile.

Blomst was also happy, though, he was usually happy. Infact, he was the only one in his little family that hadn't been depressed or sad or worried or cranky or sadistic, and he didn't have some sort of tick like the rest did. He was just normal, and he was sure the others would be, too, if Kranky hadn't made them so neurodic. He just watched the days go by, content at what was happening around him. Though, right now, walking with Delilah, was certainly the best thing he could hope for right now, and, he'd probaly look forward to it if it ever happened again. And it was a good thing Nasir wasn't with him, either. The boy knew him so well, that he knew exactly what Blomst was feeling, and would usually blurt out things that Blomst didn't want to be blurted out.
His ear tiltled torwards her, and he glanced over, occasionally his light eyes flicking up to see the glows. He looked around and sighed, shaking his head. He stopped for a moment and wrote something in the dirt. "We're on a path...maybe we should just follow it until we find something neat?"

Delilah nodded in agreement. "That sounds good," she replied. She had noticed Blomst look at her glows a few times. She too eyed them for a moment, wondering why they were always floating around her. She hadn't been able to figure that out yet. Although, there were a lot of things she had yet to figure out.
Delilah skipped a little ahead of Blomst and turned around to look at him. She glanced at one of the glows for a moment then turned back to Blomst. "You want to race?" She wasn't usually one for competition, but she felt like running for some reason.

Blomst smiled as she agreed with him, his eyes drifting to the glows again, and being somewhat hypnotized by them. He liked them, a lot. Though he was sure Delilah would be still be pretty without the glows. Not like he liked her or anything. He just...thought she was pretty. Thats all! Though...maybe he did like her, just a little. He blushed a little at the thought and shook it off.
Blomst smiled and nodded, his grin turning a little mean for a moment as he took off without her. Usually, he never raced, because the only one that raced with him was Nasir, but Nasir was taller and his legs were much longer, so he naturally won. Though, Delilah, he might've had a chance against her.

"Hey! That's no fair!" Delilah raced after him. The glows lagged behind a bit at first, but then caught up to her. The wind in her fur felt good as she sped down a hill. She tried her hardest to catch up to her friend, but found that he was quite fast. She pushed herself a bit harder, but her legs got ahead of her and she tripped herself up. She began to fall head first, but then found that something was keeping her from falling. The glows were all beneath her keeping her balanced. And so, she raced on.
Up ahead, over the next hill, Delilah noticed a large expanse of water. It seemed to go on and on without an end in sight.

Blomst laughed in his usual silent way. He looked back to her, deciding that she might be pretty fast after all. With this, he sped up, only slowing down slightly as he went down the hill. His ears carefully listened for any disturbance, in case his friend fell. To his surprise, he heard one, and he looked back, turning around and stopping as he watched her fall. He moved to hopefully catch her, but as he watched, her glows caught her instead. He watched, momentarily forgetting about the race as she passed him. He thought for a moment, and snapped out of his little trance as he raced on, trying to catch up to her.

Delilah had been happily surprised to see Blomst stop when she almost fell. What a good friend he is! she thought, But that doesn't mean I'm going to ease up and let him win. Delilah kept her pace, trying to stay ahead of Blomst. She glanced behind her to see him coming up on her quickly. As he moved up next to her, she watched as the glows began to dance around him, floating and zipping in every direction.
"Bad glows!" she laughed.
