Intro:
Something howled far in the background of the forest that made most little kids shiver with fright. But what was it? Too bad they weren't allowed to cross into the woods. What's in there stays in, what's out here stays out.

People walk past the huge forest everyday without giving it another thought. It has a huge iron gate that's impossible to open, ever. As far as they're concerned, they could just keep talking about the latest clothes or gossip without a care. But what's behind that heavy gate? Two cities. More specific, two races at war.
domokun The vampires live on the north side of the woods and their city is in a huge clearing. Well, it's very stereotypical of them to only come out in the night; but they do. The light weakens them incredibly and in some cases even kill them. But what can I say, the nightlife is amazing there. The city consists 50% of houses, and 50% of clubs, bars, casinos, and everything you can think of. There is a single castle in the west of the woods that belongs to the vampires. Only few defenders, leaders, soldiers, slaves ever go in there. And that's only if they're lucky. It's huge and entirely out of stone. Very handy when people want to spy, hide, or look at stars =] Yes, there is a princess in the castle. No one knows anything about her except for 1 or 2 close people.
mrgreen The werewolves live in the southern part of the woods. They too only come out at night. Because they are, in fact, animals, they're not as organized as the vampires. There is violence in most places and not exactly Party Central >.< Yes, stereotypical is my favorite word. They live in apartments, huts, and very few nice houses and the streets of their city is dirty and full of litter. The good thing about them, they're very secretive. They do not give out their secrets very easily and every single shelter has an underground base to hide their scent and/or energy.

whee The werewolves' main plan is to infiltrate the Vampires' castle and from there, everything will fall into their paws.
whee The Vampires are trying to kill anyone and everyone that belongs in the canine family.

Actually, the werewolves and vampires do have something in common. They both look like normal humans and can transfer anytime they wish.
When they transform, Werewolves have sharper and longer teeth to rip animals apart with. They have long claws and paws instead of hands. They only grow fur and turn into a big dog-like thing when there's a full moon. And like it or not, ur going to transform!
When Vampires transform, they grow fangs and sharp nails. Some vampires have wings and some don't, live with it. Only some experienced vampires can turn into bats but get stuck that way for 24 hours before changing back. Transforming into bats take a LOT of energy and is very unpredictable at times.

Note: I do NOT want a million vamps against one werewolf! Be creative! And werewolves are now allowed to go into the vampires' city! But beware and remember to hide ur scent!

Jessica continued down the narrow path along the border of the forest. A few feet away from her was were werewolves tread without order. She grimaced at the thought of that and continued walking. She knew there was no way a werewolf would be stupid enough to attack her even if they are just 'animals'. Calmly, she glanced up overhead to see the crescent moon shining down on her. She sat down on the grass beside the little stream. The hazy reflection of the moon bounced off the water. She twirled around a strand of her bright blond hair and dipped her fingers into the cool water. A smile crept on her lips as she stirred the water, causing ripples to run through the reflection of the moon.

Jessica felt a pang of alert happen through her mind but she just continued to sit there, twirling circles in the water. She recognized the scent of this vampire easily. It was a part of her job to know that. She moved her finger and a gentle breeze blew past her. The water she was playing with rose up in mid-air to make funky patterns. She grinned and let it twirl around again and again.
