A turquoise and silver mare made her way towards a forest. One that she had seen many times. Her mane danced around wildly with each breath the wind blew. Her belly enormous saying that she was about to give birth sometime soon. Her wings were gracefully at her side, as she was no longer trying to hide the fact that she was carrying foals with in. Her horn sparkled even though the sun was behind clouds.

It had been a while since she had been to this part. Long over due to see her best friend, Rajiv. She entered without a second glance. It wouldn't be too hard to find him, or normally it wasn't. She wondered how his son was doing as well. She hadn't seen him since he was a foal. She had helped him learn to fly, and know she'd get a chance at that with her own children. "Rajiv?" She called out weakly. No reason to be too loud, she was so defenseless like this. An easy target for any soquili that might see her as food.

"Sheesh." Came the annoyed mutter from somewhere nearby. Rustling and the cracking of dried branches soon followed as something large shoved through the underbrush. Ignoring the branches broken beneath silver hooves, the large gold toned stallion continued on his way, eyes focused on the ground, ears laid back slightly. "As if I'm a child still." He continued to himself, tail lashing slightly. His father could be so...so mulish sometimes.

Indu snorted as he continued pacing down a faint path that followed the edge of the forest, not noticing the turquoise mare standing just within the edge of the forest. He was too involved in his thoughts to hear her faint call, mulling over the dissagreement he'd had with his father just a mere handful of minutes ago. "Oooh. He's so frustrating!" He fumed, stomping his front hooves against the ground in midstep, wings flaring slightly to keep his balance.

Jeevita heard something close by, which made her rather curious. She started towards the angry sound. It sounded more like someone was annoyed, then anything. Finally, her eyes fell upon a stallion. Huge, and bright yellow, orange and white. This couldn't be? She couldn't help but give a small giggle. He grew up so fast, it seemed.

"My, my! You have grown." She said with a smile. "Indu." She added in case. It had been a while since she'd seen him, but it seemed he grew up too fast. Her belly was in plain view. She flicked her wings as she stood carefully in the brush. Even though she was pregnant, she seemed to move rather well through thick brush.

He blinked, pausing in his inner tirade as someone spoke to him. Turning his head, he blinked once again at the turquoise and silver mare, frowning slightly before his ears perked forward in recognition.

"Miss Jeevita! What're you doing here?" He asked, sounding surprised as he turned slightly and headed over to her, an eager expression on his face. He hadn't seen her in quite awhile, since she taught him how to fly. Maybe she could help him with his father.... But he put that out of his mind, grinning at her.

"Actually, I was hoping to catch your father. Is he around?" She asked him with a nod. She really did need to stop by more. Though she had been a little distracted lately. He seemed happy to see her, or at least she thought he was. All frustration that he had moments before, seemed to just vanish momentarily.

"Something wrong?" she asked him just in case it was something important. She didn't want to intrude, if he was having big issues, or if she needed to help in some way she would.

A frown curved Indu's lips briefly at the mention of his father, ears flicking. "Last I saw him, he was wandering around the lake." He told her in a vaguely annoyed tone. Shrugging his shoulder, he hesitated in answering her, thinking.

"Ehhh. Kinda." He said hesitantly a moment later, tail swishing slightly as he looked at her from the corner of his eye. "I had a fight with my father." The gold alicorn muttered after a few more long moments of silence, head dipping slightly as he looked away to study his feet. It was rather embarrassing to him, but maybe if he told Jeevita about it, she could help. After all, she was his father's friend.

It wasn't really surprising hearing about fighting. Parents fight with their children always, but that wasn't much of her business, or was it? She didn't know yet, but was probably going to find out later. "Oh? The lake, you say?" She took a few steps closer to him.

"Oh? Anything I can do to help?" She asked with a smile. Not sure what she could do to help, but it was worth a try. She flicked her curled tail trying to get it unstuck from a bush she was standing next two. "it's the least I could do." she said with another smile.

"Mmhmm. That's where he was last I saw him." Indu shrugged again, tossing his head suddenly, flicking braids here and there. Glancing sideways at her, he twitched his ears, studying her. "Dunno. Unless you can convince him that I'm old enough to do stuff on my own?" He told her, voice slightly hopeful as he asked. "He's always checking up on me and he never lets me go outside the forest on my own for very long." The young stallion sounded very close to whining, ears drooping slightly. "I know he can't really stop me, but I know he'd get all worried if I disappeared without telling him.... I want to be able travel about on my own without him constantly trying to check up on me. I want him to see that I'm not a foal anymore." He finished, frowning slightly and not quite sure he put correctly into words what he wanted. It was close enough though.

She let out a small giggle seeing what all the fuss was about. "That's a parent thing, Indu." she smiled at him as she took a small pause. "That'll never change. I'm always worried about my daughter, Nalani." She said. Even if she was a adopted daughter, it was just the same. Though, she had her own little ones to worry about now.

"I could try to help him understand, that you are now fully grown." It was hard for a parent to accept their children were fully grown, but it was something that had to be done. She let out another little laugh as she continued to smile. She was in a very good mood today, which was kind of odd. Normally she was in a very depressed upset mood. Or she'd switch between happy and sad.

He flattened his ears at her giggle, not seeing anything funny about his situation. "Still..." He muttered, trailing off and pawing the ground with one hoof. Indu snorted heavily, ears perking slightly at her offer. "I'd appreciate it." He told her, giving the mare a half smile of gratitude. Hopefully Rajiv would listen to his friend. Indu didn't hold much hope for Jeevita convincing Rajiv completely, but at least she could make him understand just a little. Hopefully.

"Let me escort you to the lake. My father'll probly still be there." Indu offered, gesturing into the forest with one wing, smiling just a bit wider.

Jeevita smiled "Show me the way", and nodded towards the young stallion. She felt oddly old. It seemed she had been around for ever, yet she, herself was still quite young compared to most she'd met along her way. She gracefully walked close behind the stallion, more eased at the fact she wasn't alone now.

She waddled a little as she walked from her huge belly, but it was nothing someone would notice unless they knew her, or saw her from the side. It wouldn't take long to talk to Rajiv for Indu. Plus, there was other things she had to tell him.

Nodding back, Indu turned and headed deeper into the woods, picking his way carefully through the brush. "Be careful of your step. This part of the forest seems infested with rabbits who like digging burrows to trap the unwary." He warned her, glanced sideways at Jeevita and giving her a half smile. If he noticed her waddling, he said nothing, knowing it would be rude to comment upon her...roundness.

It didn't take long to reach the lake, the golden stallion following some unseen path through the woods. Pushing his way through the thick brush, he held it aside for the mare to pass before following after her. Head turning this way and that, Indu narrowed his eyes against the glare of the sunlight, looking for his father. "He should be here....somewhere." He muttered almost under his breath, ears flattening slightly. "Father?" He called, pawing at the ground in annoyance and listening.

There was movement surprisingly close by, the sound of water being tread through. "Oh? Come to apologize have you?" Rajiv said, comming into sight as he walked through the shallows of the water around a tangled mass of bushes and vines.

Indu stiffened slightly, eyes narrowing in annoyance. "Nothing of the sort. I was just escorting Miss Jeevita here. She wanted to speak with you." Indu replied, voice taut with suppressed emotion. He turned from his father to look at the turquoise mare beside him, lowering his head and bending his front legs slightly as he bowed to her. "It was a pleasure to meet you again Miss Jeevita." He said as he straightened back up, giving her a smile before pacing past her and dissapearing into the brush with a flick of his tail.

Rajiv paused, watching this exchange before continuing from the water and approaching Jeevita. "It's good to see you Jeevita. Don't mind Indu. He's just annoyed with me." He said, sounding vaguely exasperated. "What brings you here?" He asked, coming up next to her and smiling.

Jeevita nodded at Indu as he gave her a warning. It was nice to have someone there to help out. She smiled at him and continued to follow him, keeping an eye on the ground to make sure she didn't accidentally fall. More careful then normal, this time. It seemed to not take that long to get to the lake where Indu had mentioned his father was.

She watched as Indu left as quickly as he could. She wanted to giggle, but held it in. Father/son issues always seemed to happen. More or less, parent and adult issues. She flicked her curled mane as her attention went from Indu, who she had bowed to in return of his departure, to a very purple shiny soquili, Rajiv. "My, Rajiv. It's been almost too long!" She began after he greeted her.

"It's nice seeing you again, I really should come out more. But for the moment it's been a bit... Hard." She said trying to keep herself hidden still. "Well, I was going to just see how you were doing, but Indu also asked me to talk to you." She said with a nod. "He thinks your being too clingy of a parent." She wasn't sure exactly how to start the conversation just yet. Best to talk to him about his son first, rather then bring the attention to her enormous belly.

"Yes. It has been far too long. I really should try to get out more." He chuckled, nipping at a curl of her hair lightly before snorting. "Of course you should come to see me more often. It's good for your health." He told her with a wide grin before looking more sober, one ear tilting back. "Hard? Has something happened Jeevita? You weren't hurt were you?" He asked, voice concerned as he tilted his head at her, frowning. She looked well. Better then well actually. He paused briefly, thinking she did look rounder then usual, but refraining from comment. After all, it wasn't gentlemanly at all to comment on the addition to a lady's figure.

His pause stretched on as she continued, mentioning Indu and their earlier...argument. Ears flattening briefly, he glanced away and off across the water, frowning. "Oh he asked you to talk to me did he?" He commented with a snort, pacing away a few steps, tail lashing. "Too clingy? I'm just looking out for him!" Rajiv replied, pawing the ground sharply, eyes narrowing before he shook the annoyed look from his face, looking more tired instead. "I don't want anything to happen to him." He told her after another few moments of silence, shoulders seeming to droop a bit. Indu was his only son. Rajiv didn't want to lose him, wanted to keep him safe from the world.

She shook her head. "No No! No one hurt me!" She laughed and moved her wings up showing her belly. "I could say, I'm going to have little ones. "She laughed. "Perhaps I should come again when I'm a bit more... lighter." she couldn't help but laugh again. She was sure she'd never end up like this, but at least she was happy it was with someone she was to stay with.

"Well, he did... Yes.. " She said with a nervous giggle. "And he knows it, but it's nice to watch from a far." She said with a nod. Which actually probably wasn't as easy as she thought it would. Since Indu had wings, and Rajiv didn't. "And if it helps, I can watch after him a bit too." She added.
