As always at the end of every Reading Rainbow, different kids would recomend books.
I was wondering if anyone read some of those books, or if anyone owns a book that was mentioned in the show?
My sister and I have read Grandpa's Face, an interesting book about an affrican american girl who is spending time with her grandpa.
All in all it's a really cool book.

NikitaDarkstar uhh I don't even know what kind of show that is/was so you need a third option wink Blasphemer! domokun It was a show where LaVar Burton (Geordy La Forge in Star Trek, hence the banner with Geordy init) talked about childrens books and it was great and I watched it all the time as a kid I can go anywhere! Take a look, it's in a book, the Reading Rainbow..

That show was brilliant. I don't remember any of the books that were recommended, but I know I don't have any with the nifty "Reading Rainbow!" sticker on them. I do know I've read some before though! mm...children's books. Tasty.

I have one or two...One of them is a native american story...but I can't remember names ^_^;; some kids really shouldn't have been on that segment. Others could show some kind of normal emotion 3nodding

I remember my elementary school teachers showing us Reading Rainbow in class. I'd get all excited when I had already read a book that they mentioned at the end.
It's been so long. I miss that crazy, crazy show.

Same here. There were so many times where I would be jumping up and down with glee because I had already read a book or two they made mention of.
Ahhh, I am overcome with nostalgia now.

Yeah, LeVar and the kids told me to read this one about a taxi driver, I believe. How could I disobey?
