 You cross the vegetable patch, and come to the greenhouses. Then you see a squat little witch who wears a patched hat over her flyaway hair; and there is a large amount of earth on her clothes and her fingernails would make your grandmother faint. She as a cheery disposition, and waves her hand towards the door, telling you to come on in. As you enter the greenhouse, you see an array of strange plants. Pink fluffy earmuffs also catch your attention that lay in a pile of different colored ones. "Welcome to Herbology, (or welcome back)" Professor Sprout says, smiling. Herbology is the study of magical plants and fungi, including their care and their magical properties and uses.
Herbology is a class required for all 1st through 5th years. All students must attempt an O.W.L. Those who receive an A (Acceptable), or higher, may chose to continue Herbology.

Ms. Priddy walks around the greenhouse to observe all the herbal plants, making sure they're all in tip top shape for the new students. She's always had a green thumb and has produced some of the most beautiful and horrifying plants ever seen. She loved to teach others and hopes to find someone with the same passion. As she tidies up the place she waits for the students to arrive.

At 5 minutes until 9, Sam walks up to Greenhouse 3 and opens the door to go inside. she had barely taken a step inside the warm greenhouse when she tripped on her untied shoelave and flew forwards. As she fell she reached for something to grab onto, and saddly the only thing to grab was a potted plant near the doorway, which came tumbling down with her, and shattered it's pot as it hit the floor. Once it was over sam looked at the plant, horrified and then looked up at the new teacher that was standing across the room. "I'm ssssoooooo so sorry" she said trying to pick up the plant and dirt, and then trying to cast an unsuccessful repairing charm on the pot.

Ms Priddy runs to her desk and grabs a spare pot to put the plant in. She asks Sam if she's ok as she takes over cleaning the mess. Ms. Priddy is pretty particular of her plants care. She treats them as her kids. She notices that a couple of branches had fallen off, so she waves her wand in a circular motion while mumbling some words. Sam watches as the branches magically attache themselves back to the plant. Ms. Priddy looks again and asks Sam "are you sure you're ok?"

while shaken up and speachless by the whirl of action that had just taken place, sam manages to nod at Ms Priddy's question before pulling herself back up to her feet, dusting off her jeans and picking up her book bag.

SHe took a deep breath and then approached Ms Priddy's desk " I really am sorry Ms Priddy, I would never dream of hurting anything, least of all a plant" she said appologetically, looking down at her feet as she talked.

He sturts into the greenhouse right on time and looks around to see a variety of plants, a small pile of dirt on the floor and Sam standing at the desk of the new teacher. "Hiya Mate" he says comming up behind sam.

"No need to apologize Sam just try to be a little more careful next time" Ms.Priddy notices Lupy coming through the door and replies" Good day to you sir" She says with a smile. "I hope you guys are ready for the studies of exotic plants/herbs. We've come across several that have never been seen in previous classes, so i hope you take some serious interest in your studies. In the long run this will help you in a lot of your other classes." Ms. Priddy walks the students to the far left side of the green house where she had her favorite plants to show off. One was amazingly multi colored that illuminated the other plants around it.

Gabriella Skye walks into the classroom noticing that the other student were following the teacher to the other end of the greenhouse. Gabby rushes forward to catch up and notices Lupy. Gabby slightly bumps into him and smiles.She then walks over next to Sam.

lupy smiles back at Gabby as she passes him on their way to the other end of the greenhouse, he wasn't a big fan of plants, but this seemed like a prime opportunity to visit with his lovely lady friends.

Ms.Priddy has the students gather around the exotic glowing plant and states" This is an original and very rare plant that i have had since my trip to the tropical rain forests area. It has multiple colors and each colored leaf is used for different spells and potions. This will be something to remember when you're 5th through 7th year students. The name of this plant is called the Rainboliac. She then walks the students to another plant that is black, thick like a giant slug. It has large pustules on it. (swellings with greenish-yellow pus) Ms.Priddy asks " Does anyone know the name of this plant and what it is commonly used for with teenagers?"
