First off, I'm happy because I can see the forums again.
Yay!

But as for the "Oh Dear" moment.
I'll start a few days back.

Last Thursday my friend Bethany and I filmed our science project.
We have to make a "creative and memorable way" of explaining the Particle Model of Matter, being the five key ideas of particles.
Particles of Spaces In Between Them
Everything is Made of Particles
Particles are Always Moving
Particles are Attracted to Each Other
and Pure Substances Have Only One Type of Particle.

So today we got to together after I got my cavity filled (don't worry, it was only a small one so it didn't hurt at all) and edited the movie.
It's.... well..... 20 minutes long.

There really wasn't a time limit,
but 20 minutes is a long time for a class of grade 8ers to watch
(XD I make it sound like we're three, but my class is impatient.)

I don't know what I'm going to do,
because it's due Friday,
and we need to present it to the class.

Any suggestions?
Also: I may just upload it to youtube for ya!

I'd say you just show them the whole movie.
Or you can skip less important parts and tell about them, instead of showing it.

Yeah, you could always go through it and see if there's any bits you don't need. (if you have time.)

But, actually, wouldn't your classmates not mind having to watch a 20 minute presentation than to do work?

I say look through it and see is there's
anything that you could take out.
Maybe you'd get extra points for it
being so long, but, being only a little
older than one, I know eigth graders
pretty well, and they won't be very
attentive for long, then the rest of
the video would just be a waste :/

If you really want their attention, just put in jokes and some popular music. Maybe even ask questions at the end and give candy if they're right.
