The dark morning sky made a morbid setting for the little settlement. Many of the humans living here were from the Dark Ages, very few before and those who were often liked to keep to themselves. If it was possible.

Currently the Villagers were going about everyday activities, trying to act like they were back in the own world and it had to be said the Village of Nevermoor was very homely... For Wormwood that is. There was a semi wide age range within the little village. The youngest was around the age of ten or so, it was by luck and a little help from a few villagers that the younger and older inhabitants had survived.

It was out of a little hut on the edge of the village emerged Ailith, she looked just the same as the many years ago when she had been harvested into the world of Wormwood, of course that is to say, what would be years in her world, here time stood still. She supposed she was thankful after all she hadn't changed much, maybe got a little more hostile, a little more paranoid but on the whole she was the exact same.

Looking to the sky Ailith let out a sigh, some days she forgot all about her old village, her family, friends and life, but today was not one of those days. Today was a day when her memories where fresh, as they so often where after a task had been completed. Stretching and bending backwards a little she began to walk towards the center of the village, she was to go and get another assignment soon no doubt, she might as well make the most of it. Her dark green eyes scanned the little village looking around, it was nothing like her old little clan, but still they had allowed her to build a hut and in return she had to promise to guard the village to the best of her ability, if the situation arised.

She began to braid her hair while walking, one braid at each side then taking them both back and braiding them together leaving her lower hair to be free but held back. She wore similar things to what she always did, a light green tunic with a black old vest over the top and black leggings tucked into brown leather boots, on her lower arms she had brown leather armguards and a soft leather body plate covering her chest. She attached her twin battle axes to the holders on her hips and was always ready for an attack.

"Anything happened while I was gone?" she finally asked the 'elder' as she called him. He was a priest from the Dark Ages who had now become one of the main men in the village. "No, when are you leaving again?" He smiled a little, Ailith was known for just up and leaving and more to the point she was known for her small reputation within the vampire race. "... I haven't decided yet." She paused but it was cut short. "Ailith you're back!" One of the younger villagers yelled, running up to her. Ailith turned and smiled a little nodding, she still kept some compassion and even though soon she would be leaving, it didn't mean she didn't like the village or the people there.
