It was a good day - something about it had just felt right when the young blond cowboy had stepped into the store. Normally, he’d have made a beeline to the desk and snatched up his room for the day, but for some reason he’d been drawn to the bustle of the main shop. It wasn’t the thrill of shopping - Jesse hated to shop, it was something about being crushed between people that made him want to flee from the very instant he stepped in.
But whatever it was, it wasn’t letting up until he crossed the threshold and entered into the pink paradise of all that was Angelic Layer, his duffel of training supplies over one shoulder and his egg carefully cradled in the crook of the other arm. His eyes moved, skimming across the boxes of accessories and outfits idly before stopping upon the display case. There… Slowly, he moved forwards, pressing his fingertips to the glass lightly to study the outfits held within.
“Man… These must cost a fortune,” he mumbled, whistling softly to himself as he let his hand slide to rest upon the top of the decorated egg cradled to his narrow chest.
