Name: Lord Illuminatus Species: Human Race: Sarádwanai Age: 15 Lightsaber: White-Bluish core, ultraviolet (blacklight) glow.
Bio: Illuminatus comes from the distant planet of Sarádwan, a world of harsh storms and black rock spires. Disgusted with the inefficient and strategically weak Council of Twelve, he launched a great plan to unravel the Council's authority and place himself, though young, in a position so that he could govern the dark city of Ered Sineth. He started by assassinations, quietly taking down officials with foresight and wisdom. Assisting feuding political families, he manipulated them into destroying each other, every party believing that they had his support. Through subtle use of psychological cues, he slowly poisoned the minds of those in power, brainwashing them to the point of servitude. He often wondered how he was able to achive such massive control, how he was able to see the weak spots that would crack hearts, minds and governments. Finally, after all the stratagems and plots had connected, the Twelve fell, and anarchy consumed the planet. Illuminatus added to the chaos by quietly destroying food stores and poisoning water. After weeks of total disarray, Illuminatus became a public hero, seen as a diligent scientist that saved the people from contaminated food and drink, as well as a strong leader that abolished the former government and ended the anarchy. But his plans were threatened by a very unlikely person. Illuminatus's teenage love and partner in crime was beginning to have second thoughts. He reasoned with her, his cold clear logic defeating her protests time and time again. Finally, she told him she would use what influence she had to counter his every move. Illuminatus, moved by hatred and desperation, refused to give up his command. He cornered her, and in a last, final argument, saw that she would not change her mind. With regret, but grim determination, his malevolence suddenly lent him power, allowing him to rip the life from her body with the force. It was then that he understood. He was force sensitive. It explained everything he was able to do. Illuminatus ordered martial law by his elite (and very brainwashed) Sentinels, and ventured off into the galaxy to hone his powers, ready to return one day soon and assume his Dark throne.

The Final Confrontation
Illuminatus stalked into his center of command, situated on the top of a black rock spire almost a mile tall. His armored boots clanked softly on the floor, and his cloak billowed out behind him like liquid shadow. "Have the viruses been neutralized with our compound?" He asked. A brown-haired girl with intelligent green eyes regarded him with clearly mixed emotions, turning away from the computer panel she had been studying. "Don't you ever wonder if we've gone too far?" She said tonelessly "Every day," replied Illuminatus. "And is is my stolid conclusion that we have gone no further than we had planned to. We have only to reach out and take what we want. Our power and will to dominate makes it ours unless another can best us." His voice was calm, clear and reasoning, but his gaze was like poisoned ice, twin fires that cut into her like a blade. "You are going to betray me," he announced calmly, wondering how he knew that, for he was certain it was true. Her eyes grew wide, but she gave no other sign as to the horrid surprise writhing within her like a lead snake. "Only if you don't undo what you've done. You've poisoned your own people! Made them fight each other for scraps of food!" She tried to counter his painful gaze with her own, but only felt sick. "Those that cannot turn events to their will, who cannot see the ripples events create, where they lead, what they trigger, are utterly dominated by those who can." Illuminatus's calm voice took on a slight edge, and the temperature in the room seemed to drop. "Do you even regret murdering your own relatives? Do you even feel emotion at all?" She was losing control, surrendering logic to the fire of anger. Her only weapon against him was slipping away with each angry syllable. "Of course. Feeling is my greatest strength. I can examine all sides of an issue, achieving balance between love and hate, fear and courage. Those that cannot understand their enemies will be eventually destroyed by them." "You aren't making sense anymore! This much pain and death and chaos isn't worth power! Isn't worth anything!" The temperature dropped another ten degrees as Illuminatus answered. "What you fail to understand is that I have weighed both sides. It is worth it." He smiled a slow, superior smile as he continued. "You have surrendered to sentimentality, letting one set of emotions overpower the other. You can no longer see clearly." "I can see what we've done. And I plan to undo it!" She strode toward a computer, which displayed an explanation of, as Illuminatus could now see, every aspect of the water and food crisis, the mysterious deaths, the unseen horrors executed against the people. Illuminatus's rage and regret collided with each other, canceling out and flooding his mind with the clarity of the situation. When his desperation and will to protect his plan surfaced, it all flowed together and destroyed a wall in his mind he never knew existed. Power flooded him and he involuntarily reached out, reverse-facing spikes on his armor gleaming. Frost gathered laced the room as she was stopped in mid-step. "I won't allow that to happen." He intoned quietly, voice echoing with power. "I don't want to make this decision, but you've forced my hand. I won't justify this with lies. I don't lie to myself. You will destroy everything I've set in motion and I must choose. Your death will solidify my authority here and erase the threat of distruction. And that outweighs your life, which would only end what we have done. I hate this, but it must be done. I'm sorry." A tear fell, froze, and shattered at Illuminatus's feet, and he gestured with hooked fingers. Incandescent life energy tore from her body as the red-orange energy flooded Illuminatus's body with heat. The stream abruptly ended, and with a tremendous flash, she simply vanished in a spray of charred bones, knocking Illuminatus to the ground. A while later, he arose, armor gleaming coldly in the dim light. After making sure the computer was destroyed beyond repair, he reached out with a gauntleted hand and picked up a small pendant that was undamaged despite the destruction of the room. An ocean-blue sphere of glittering light hung from it. Illuminatus tucked it in his pocket and left, wiping a stream of blood from his face where a splintered rib had struck him. Intrigued by his newfound power, he tried to open the door to his fightercruiser. But the power did not come easily. The circumstances in the Command Spire were not likely to be repeated, and he knew he had to work to develop his power. With a flare of ion engines, his glossy black ship accelerated until the galaxy dissolved into starlines, and the starlines into the amorphous mass of hyperspace.

a nice and well done bio. If he gets assigned to Grim as an apprentice, he'll certainly be learning a few things.

Sagetim a nice and well done bio. If he gets assigned to Grim as an apprentice, he'll certainly be learning a few things. I am just teaching until someone takes him under their wing. Either way, it's still fun. Good bio, btw. Did you really write that yourself? It's pretty amazing.

Suki Kat Good bio, btw. Did you really write that yourself? It's pretty amazing. Thank you, it's good to know that my writing hasn't gone to seed while I've had writer's block. I write quite a bit; mainly scripts for action films and short (or not so short) stories.
