Naruto stretched and yawned, belly full of ramen as he wandered in the direction of the training grounds. There was almost a sleepy grin on his face, as eating so much food on a warm afternoon made him almost lethargic. He would've been content with taking a nap, but training was more important. If he was going to be Hokage, how could he get there with sleeping all the time?! Also... he still had to bring Sasuke back. That was worth more then sleeping, too.
Deciding to start with chakra-control, first, Naruto wandered to a few tree's, remembering something Kakashi had taught team 7 a while before. He felt like trying it again, and so he formed the seal. It wasn't long before he'd fallen and landed on his head, but he was only out of practice, or so he said. He was soon back up, and working on it again, starting out higher then the first time he'd tried the few years before.

Shino sat high up in a tree reading one of his fathers research books, oblivious to the blond training nearby. The information he was currently reading was too fascinating that he was absorbed in it. His father and a co-worker at the lab had created a powerful poison from a rare breed of spider and the effects were devastating.
"One dose of the poison will bring intense pain before a swift death. We have found that the venom turns the blood to sand but are not yet sure how this happens or if we will be able to make a cure.
"This breed of spider is a native to Suna and appears to be expanding it's habitat into cooler climates. The spider is black with silver markings and is the size of a human adults palm. While a bite from the spider itself will not cause death, it will cause intense pain as the one bitten slowly starts to rot from the inside out." He read aloud and was even smirking a bit. "I'd love to see one up close."

After a bit, Naruto was able to wander around on one of the trees, and that was how he discovered Shino. The other males' voice had cued him in, first, and it was so odd to hear him speaking to himself, that the blond just had to go see what the Aburame was doing. Walking horazontally up the tree trunk, he was soon eye-level with the other male.
"Hey, Shino!" Naruto grinned, arms tucked behind his head. He tipped his head to the side a little to try and read the cover of the book Shino was reading, but that seemed to get him off balance, and he was soon hitting the ground, giving out an 'Owww!' and rubbing his head.

Knowing that he wouldn't be getting any more reading in with the blond around, he tucked the book into one of the large pockets of his inner jacket. "Nothing you'd find interesting, Naruto." He jumped down to a lower branch and then to the ground. "How many times have you fallen doing such a simple thing?" he asked as he held out his hand. "You should have learned this long ago."

Naruto grumbled a little, then blinked up at Shino. He took the offered hand and pulled himself up, still rubbing his head. "I did learn it.. It's just been a while since I've really tried it..." he pouted a bit. He then gave a glance around. "Where's Kiba and Akamaru? Aren't you guys usually inseparable?" he tipped his head to the side, looking back to the bug master.

"Once you learn a skill you should never forget it. If you do, it makes you useless in battle when the skills are needed most." After Naruto was standing, Shino shoved his hands into his pockets. "As for Kiba and Akamaru, they are on a mission in Suna with Shikamaru." Having no other need to talk to the blond, he turned and headed for the path that would bring him back to the center of the village.

Naruto blinked after Shino as the other male began heading back into the village. "Hey- wait!" he called, and jogged up beside him. "Sakura-chan has been ignoring me, so... do you mind training with me?" he asked, head tipping to the side a little with the question. He didn't know very much about the Aburame's training habits, or really anything about him, so he was partially curious about what his fellow Konoha-nin was like. Never-mind that he needed someone to train with...

He looked up at the sky a moment before turning his attention to the blond. "I'm on my way to get something to eat right now...maybe after that I'll spar with you. Hinata should be busy with her father and you already know about Kiba." He wasn't 100% in the mood to spar at the moment, but maybe after he ate it'd be different. "I was thinking about getting some ramen."

"Ramen!" Naruto exclaimed, and then began pouting a little and mumbling to himself. He'd had some earlier, but maybe he'd been training alone enough to have more room for even more of his favorite food? He soon nodded to himself. "Then- I'll come with you!" he said cheerfully, as if he hadn't paused at all.

"Fine, but I'm not paying for yours." Knowing how Naruto could eat, there was no way he was going to pay for it. Besides, he didn't have that much money on him as his own missions have been rather slow lately. He also had planned on talking Hinata out later that night. "Don't eat too much or you won't be able to train seriously. I wouldn't want you getting sick on me."

Naruto partially pouted at having to pay for his own ramen, but he partially expected it. "I won't get sick!" He then added. He couldn't count how many times he'd eaten and gone training, before... well, he didn't eat usually as nearly as much as he was going to try, today, before major training, but he didn't think anything was going to happen. Nearing the ramen stand, the blond gave a cheerful wave to the cook and waitress, grinning at their question of 'hungry, already?!' He took a seat and swung his legs under his chair a little, like a child.

Shino sat down in the next empty seat and ordered some miso. At the other comment, he looked at Naruto with a raised brow. "You've already had lunch and you're still hungry?" His eyes moved down to Narutos middle. How does this kid eat so much and not end up like Chouji? Must be because of his high stamina. Shino himself didn't eat too much, only enough to satisfy his hunger, because he found that fighting with a full stomach caused unessessary problems.

"Are you kidding?! I'm almost always hungry for Ramen!" Naruto said, grinning over to Shino. Though, now that I think about it, I might only be able to eat one or two bowls... He scrunched up his nose a little at that thought, then pushed it aside, reaching over and grabbing a set of chopsticks. Setting them down, he glanced over to the Aburame, and began watching him a little, almost as if he were trying to do it inconspicuously, and failing miserably

"I'm surprised that you don't get sick of it with the amount you eat. I'd say that ramen is a bad habit for you, Naruto. You won't get stronger if this is all that you eat." Shino took a pair of the chopsticks for himself when he saw that the food was almost ready. He understood why Naruto comes to the stand all the time, they have the best ramen around, but there are just somethings that the body needs. "I always thought you were strange."

"Of course I'll get stronger!" Naruto frowned. How could eating ramen hinder his strength. He practically lived off the stuff, and he always got stronger. As the ramen arrived, he broke his chopsticks and mumured a cheerful 'Itadakimasu', before leaning in for a bite. He then paused at Shino's last comment. Blue orbs fixated on the Aburame in a sort of confused, 'what the hell?!' sort of look. "What's that supposed to mean?" he asked, crossing his arms over his chest, and scrunching up his nose in a pout.
