  Then...An orphan due to Sin, as many children of her generation were, Paine learned to be on her own from a young age. She's very introverted; even Yuna says that she doesn't know much about her. What she does know is that she joined the group of sphere hunters, the Gullwings, shortly before she did. Other than that, her past was a complete mystery to even those who thought they knew her the best. She's one to be calm and level headed in even the greatest face of danger. In battle, she likes to stick to melee attacks, and hates being stuck in dresspheres such as Songstress or Mascot. Out of battle, she seems cold and not easily excited, often reminding the other two of the female Gullwing trio, Yuna and Rikku, that they're being childish and need to concentrate on the mission that lies ahead. She has a very dry sense of humor that tends to only come out during heated moments, such as battle. Even so, she does have a few shining moments of humor, and she does crack a few smiles every now and then, but they usually fade quickly, and her stony front comes back up.  ... and Now.I can't say that I know a lot about her personality. I only just brought her into her new home the other day. She seems quiet for the most part, liking to stay to herself. She also enjoys sitting next to the fountain of the Third District, as people seem to stay away from there. I'll write more as soon as I get to know her a little better...

Species: Neko Hanyou (half cat demon)
Gender: Female
Abilities: Despite having demon blood, Aiko doesn't appear to have any abilities, other than her retracting claws, and heightened senses and reflexes.
Physical Description: From Japan, Aiko looks the part of being a hanyou, or half demon. She's a short statured woman, genes undoubitly hailing from the human side of her, with huge brown eyes, color also hailing from the human side. However, she's obviously not completely human, -- her cat ears, tail, and slitted pupils attest to this. Her skin never seems to tan, no matter how long she stays outside, and thus stays a rather pale color. Distinctive markings that she usually keeps visible are the scars on her cheeks and the single scar over the bridge of her nose. Because she now wears long shirts with long sleeves, her other scars are hidden. Having come back recently from a war waged on Japanese soil, the rest of her body is completely covered in scars, which she appears to be very self-conscious about.
History: Aiko hails from Japan, having hopped ship bound for Gaia, hiding in a crate of bananas. Yes, bananas. Ever since then, she can't stand the sight or smell of the fruit. She figured it was worth it, however. She fled Japan in hopes to escape persecution; humans hated her, demons rejected her.
There's not much to say of Aiko's time in Gaia. A compassionate woman, she eventually ended up with a large family, comprised of cats, winged mice, an Aeriment who claims to be the family's guardian angel, several children, and one gothic punk that don't seem to enjoy being around her very much, yet continues to mooch.
So for about one and a half years, the family lived happily, until one day Aiko disappeared without saying much of anything. "I've got something to do," she told the guardian angel of the house. "I'm not sure when I'll be back."
And she disappeared for about six months.
The family was about to lose hope, but Aiko returned. She would never ever consider not coming back to her family, death do them part. While most of the household seems to forgive her, some just can't forget what she did, until she finally revealed why she had been gone for so long. Her father's cat demon clan found itself in a war with the dog demons, and were desperate enough to track down even the half-blooded of the family, Aiko included. She's permanently scarred quite literally. While she doesn't seem to have much on her face (sans the black tattoos on her cheeks and the long scar across her nose --not received from the war), her body from the neck down is matted with scars from teeth, claws, and perhaps even poisons and acids. Because of this, she wears long sleeves and long pants all year around.
Her personality changed only slightly, though the only slight change didn't surprise many. Aiko always had been and probably always will be a very headstrong person. However, she's now become testy when it comes to resulting to physical fighting to solve differences, and is a little more quick to shed a tear over her family.
She speaks and acts in red.

Though he appears about fifteen years old, Nigel is actually twenty, making him a scant two years younger than Aiko. He doesn't appear to enjoy living in Aiko's house, so the reason why he mooches off of her is currently unknown. He has a very dry sense of humor and is quick to cut Aiko down. It seems that he sees just about everything that goes on in the house, as a rather omniscient being, though how he does this is also currently unknown. His color is purple. A Heartless and Aiko's very first pet. While she appears to be a shy creature, Chii goes out every evening to hunt, though for what, Aiko isn't sure she wants to know. She's constantly around Aiko when she's home, and it's questionable if she notices anyone else in the household at all. She can speak clunky English, but she mostly is heard saying "Chii." Her color is pink. A beta fish. Rosalba lives in a tank in the living room, so she doesn't talk much. Other than float around, eat, and look pretty, she doesn't appear to do much...  A faemouse. Lucas is a little mouse with big wings and a long tail. He can only say the word "cookie", and is trained to hop in anyone's outstretched hand after they say it. He's very skittish around strangers, and prefers to hang around Julia, usually clinging to her tail, nestled in her hair, or perched on her shoulders. His color is sky blue. One of Aiko's "children." Shippou is a kitsune boy who was literally left on Aiko's doorstep in a bag. He was born the same day Julia was, and is constantly referred to as her twin, though they're obviously different species. He is very small, but a full fledged fox demon. He has a top he plays with constantly, and has illusion magics. He enjoys eating chocolate bars and potato chips, so how he stays so thin is a mystery. His color is green. The second of Aiko's children. Julia is a skunk anthro and referred to as Shippou's twin sister, though she grows much slower than he does. She can't say much, and constantly mimics what's said to her. Supposedly, she is able to turn into a complete human form, but this has yet to be seen. Usually, she's found running around after Shippou, or getting herself into Aiko's not-so-secret stash of chocolates she keeps in her room. Her color is dark purple. A Siren that lives in the Port of Gambino. Myra stays out of the sight of other people. She was saved by Aiko when she got caught in the Durem Reclamation Facility, after swimming up some pipes and getting caught there. Learning from her mistakes, she's now able to swim into the Facility without getting herself caught, so she can now be visited by Aiko. Whenever the family goes on a picnic, Aiko always takes them all the way to the beaches of the Isle de Gambino so they can see Myra. Her color is cyan. The guardian of the household. Elysia appeared Christmasy, as she joined the household around that time. She's like the guardian angel of Aiko and all that live with her, but more often plays as babysitter when Nigel absolutely refuses to be. She's soft spoken and walks without making a sound, so she constantly sneaks up on people without really trying. She calls Aiko "Lady Aiko" or more often "M'lady", and calls Nigel "Lord Nigel", though it drives him insane. Her color is dark green. An Adult Kathinian. Ivory is a rather large white cat with wings, whose shoulders come up to about Aiko's waist. She's more of a gentle giant who appears to be rather aloof, but she notices more than people think. She prefers to hang around Elysia so the two can take care of things together. Whatever Ivory sees, Elysia is sure to know about within a matter of minutes, making Ivory sort of like Elysia's spy of sorts. Her color is light blue. A... carrot? Aiko found Ortensia in the garden in the back while tending to it. Ortensia is very shy when it comes to people outside the family. She prefers to live outside, though Aiko sometimes won't let her during storms or harsh weather. Since she has been unearthed, she takes care of the garden for Aiko. Her color is magenta. A kitten from... a parallel universe? Edward Elric doesn't seem to make friends easy. He's a little bit smaller than other kittens that come from the same universe, though he hates to admit that fact. He gets riled up easily, especially when someone calls him short. Though he appears to have a tough exterior, he's a softie at heart, particularly when it comes to his younger brother, Alphonse. His color is dark red. Another kitten from a parallel universe. Alphonse Elric is a sweet heart, through and through. His appearance seems a little odd, something about his soul being trapped in a suit of armor when he was older. Perhaps when he grows older, he'll grow out of the suit of armor. For now, he likes the attention he can get, as he can once again has his senses back. His color is blue.

 This journal and arts under the pictures post, unless otherwise specified, belong to Tenoh Aiko. No steal-y. Aiko also made the craptastic headers. No steal-y. Paine's origional character is from Final Fantasy X-2, and belongs to several other people that are not Tenoh Aiko. Again, no steal-y.
