I have a digital camera and take a LOT of pictures. Plus, my mom has given me pictures she's taken over the years of me and my sister. I think scrapbooks are a bit more personal than sticking them in an album. There is so much you can do. Just look around Michaels. There's tons of papers, different types of books and kits, and STICKERS!!! biggrin heart biggrin heart
Why do you scrapbook and what kind of books have you made?

I think it's pretty neat because sometimes pictures alone can't really express how great a certain something was (like for example- a trip to the zoo) and with scapbooking you can add all sorts of interesting little bits (like stickers, clippings, artwork, etc) that just brighten up a page and make you go "wow! that must have been so much fun!" But sometimes the picture CAN do that- and in that case- scapbooking just makes the image all the more exciting. ;D
There are only a few times I've done scapbooking. Once was started during elementary school from a sparkly notebook I got for my birthday- and since then I've just been adding little bits and pieces to it.. It doesn't really have a theme- it's just randomness and probably only makes sense to me. Haha. Then there was the scrapbook assignment for school- it was a total failure.. Mostly because it had to be about me and my life- and well.. I hate myself. xD HAHA. I also rushed a bit on it, but whatever, I ended up with a good mark.

Doing scrapbooks about yourself is hard in general. Especially since they're your memories and lots of times you can't remember as far back as when you were a baby or something. I've tried on numerous occasions so I'm just going to start with this Thanksgiving and work forward and when I get some more pictures from when I was a kid, I'll add those and fill in the blanks. I also realized that I have a LOT of stuf and I need to clean my basement so I can invite friends over for scrapbooking parties in order to get stuff used up... then I can have space to get more sweatdrop biggrin 4laugh rofl
