 It was always an amazing thing at how drastically the weather could change within a few days. One day, gentle breezes would brush past, just barely tickling the skin or fur of those who were outside. Yet today was different. No longer were there gentle breezes, but instead, there were harsh winds bullying their way past everyone. The wind could easily knock down the strongest of opponents, given the right amount of time.
One of the contenders was actually visible along the cobblestone path that led to the Incense shop. She was pale blue and very fluffy. It was obvious that this trip had been a bit more pressing than she had initially expected, for her hair was a mess, and she looked like she was struggling just to walk forward. The Kyunru couldn't help but think how much of a pity it was that she couldn't fly to the shop. She didn't exactly have the strongest of wings, for they were thin and insect-like. Sparkly, true, but still unable to hold up against such a vicious opponent as the wind.

 Not that Oiseau was one to complain, afterall complaint was just a way to overlook ones own weakness, but today was not a pleasant day. Not in the least. The Kyunru offered the sky an unamused look briefly before continuing along, accompanied only by the sound of trees crying against the strong rush of wind and the click of his own back legs on cobblestone.
Honestly, why he'd chosen today for a walk to the incense shop he didn't quite remember at this point, something about Nai being loud. Ah, that was it, she'd been wailing about a tree falling on them or something. The only escape was to get out to something she was more afraid of. In this case... out into the wind.
What a bother.
Closing his eyes as another strong rush brushed against him, trying to whip his hair into a greater mess than it was obviously, or perhaps uproot him. Sadly for it, he wasn't about to end up sprawled on the ground, nor stupid enough to try and fly in the mess. Certainly his wings would manage it, but the threat of a strong gust throwing him into a tree, or something like it... that was a chance he prefered to not gamble on. Which left him grounded, thankful that at least his hair in the back was short today. Less fodder for the skies.
Grimacing as he tucked his wings closer to his body, ears falling flat on his head to keep out the chill that accompanied the wind as he kept along, only noting the other figure a bit ahead of him on the path as the winds died down again. It added to the point that he had been concentrating on one thing. Remaining on his feet. Though the creature was fairly hard to miss, what with the bright colors. Unlike his that seemed to fade into the fall scenery so well. Browns and oranges did that afterall. Though this new kyunru seemed to be fairing about as well as he in the weather, more than a bit tussled from the wind, and as they said... misery loves company. So while he had the brief chance between stronger gusts the male jogged up, announcing himself as he drew up so not to cause alarm.
"Fall certainly feels like showing off today, doesn't it?"

Though the wind felt somewhat like it had flattened the Kyunru, her head perked up at the sound of another voice. Risking to turn her head to the new company, she found a very earthy-toned Kyunru with big wings there.
"Oh! Hewwo!" she chimed as she seemed to grab herself an eye-full so she wouldn't forget the new face. Once she was satisfied with such, she responded to the comment: "...is it faww ow is it the wind that's showing off?"
Turning back towards where she was heading, she was greeted with a strong burst of wind to the eyes. Squinting her bright blue eyes, she continued to press forward. As she pushed one paw forward and planted it as firmly on the ground as she could, she figured conversation wouldn't be such a bad idea.
"Aw you heading to the shop too, Mistehw?"

Hoo, that first glance was right. The wind hadn't been kind to that one. Although his hair was longer, he had it tied to some degree to hold it in place, this girl, by the tone of her voice, did not. Which left her prey to that seemingly endless gusts that left her looking windswept in a bad way. Not that he was much better, aside fromt eh fact everything still hung in some form of order.
"An... accent?" He quickly said without much thought after hearing the first few words, quietly critiquing that in his head and searching for the bed words. Afterall, he'd never been one to keep his mouth shut. "Perhaps a combination of both." He replied quickly, cocking his head slightly to look up as if questioning the sky. "Collaberations of the two can make truly powerful results." He added before ducking his head and turning it a bit away at the sudden burst of air. "Yes, quite strong indeed."
A quick nod before he recalled that she wasn't facing him as a reply to her next question. "Yes, it will certainly be a form of shelter from the winds." He called, forging forward a bit further. "So, why is it you speak that way? It's peculiar you know." It wasn't meant to be rude, he just said what he thought. And... that was what he thought.

Her ear flicked a bit at the question, since it made no sense to her.
"Pecuwiahw?" she questioned. "...but I am speaking pewfectwee fine!" In her little head, the words that she spoke were coming out perfectly fine. Likewise, the words that she heard others speak were identical to her own, switching the Rs and Ls for the W sound. Only one prior had pointed this out, and that was Lasuk. The Kyuria only seemed to care that his name was pronounced a particular way.
Seeming rather light-hearted over the subject, she moved on to changing it slightly. "What's youhw name, Mistehw?" She once more turned to face him and smiled very sweetly.

"Is that so..?" Simply a question that folowed most. It seemed odd, but she'd replied in a respectable manner. There was no real reason to question it furtherr. Afterall, who was he to judge normal? "I suppose it was just me then, nevermind it." He added with a smile, continuing along down the path.
Besides, she was consistent in speaking that way. Obviously whatever caused it was something that would remain unless truly worked with. It was a habit, for whatever reason.
Both ears perked at the question of his name as he recalled that he hadn't offered it up previously. "Ah, pardon my rudeness." A quick reply to her before he regained his composure. "Oiseau, my name is Oiseau." He added before continuing. "Might I inquire as to what your name is, miss?"

"oiseau? Oiseau!!" With a big grin, the fluffy kyunru repeated the name several more times, following it with a "I won't evehw fowget it! My name is Wapsody!"
She'd turn once more to face where she was heading, only to find by this time, her paws were almost touching the porch. With the building directly in front of her, it meant she could move with much more ease, since the shop was taking a bulk of the wind's power. Her paws and hooves would trot forward until she paused at the Kyunru flap. With a small twitter of her wings, she then settled down to muss around with her hair. It was dreadfully messier than usual and was in dire need of fixing.

Wapsody... that.. was a unique name. Taking note of her speech it wasn't too hard to guess what she might have meant, and it was a word wasn't it? So perhaps it was Rhapsody, but to be on the safe side he followed suite with her speech. Afterall, callling her by what she requested was simply politeness. "It is a pleasure then miss, Wapsody." It didn't change the fact he felt a bit silly saying it that way.
Upon the pair reaching the porch he promptly edged up to the door to avoid as much of the wind as possibly as well, trying to gain as much order as he could with his hair before beginning to work to adjust the feathers on his wings, stretching them before nudgng carious parts that just felt off, possibly from being folded so tightly against him or the wind. It didn't matter, it was more a matter of comfort than anything. His hair would have to wait to be further groomed due to the fact he wasn't exactly good at tying things in. Mize did that. And loosing them to try and make it uniform would mean a mess when returning home later. Obviously loose hair was not a good idea.
Still working on nosing at a point that didn't quite feel right yet be briefly glanced to his new acquaintance curiously. "So, what brought you out here on such a day anyhow?"

At the moment, it almost seemed like Rhapsody was trying to be a cat more than a Kyunru. She was huddled over herself, pawing and smoothing at her extremely fluffy and messy hair, as if attempting to tame the savage beast upon her head. At the moment, she was hardly paying any attention to what was going on around her. The question had gone in one ear, lingered for a bit, then went out the other. It took a lot of effort to get her hair nice when it wasn't so pleasant.
Given a few minutes, her hair was as tame as it was going to get. Uncurling herself from the bundle she had formed, she then eagerly trotted into the shop, the flap brushing over her fluffy hair and messing it up slightly again.
"Oh no!!" the lacewing exclaimed. "I won't have any time to pway at this wate!"

Sadly, the kyunru didn't know what had caused Rhapsody to ignore the question,a nd the seeming avoidance did grate his nerves. He was quick to accept people's explainations when given, a simple 'because I wanted to' was enough to placate the male's curiousity. But this? To ignore him?
That was unnacceptable.
So after waiting what would have been a fair amount of time for a response he'd begun to watch her expectantly, then frowned as she moved to head inside. It truly had irked him that he'd been ignored. It was simply a pet peeve of his.
So without waiting he quickly shoved himself up and followed after, determined to get a response. It wasn't the question, it was the concept behind it. He just... disliked being ignored in that sense. If he asked something he wanted a proper answer.
"Is that why you came today?" He quickly asked, some annoyance evident in his tone. Fixing his wings again as he did. That was one of the bad things about having his type. They seemed to get muffled more than most. Although the female's wings seemed so fragile, they couldn't possibly end up with feathers even slightly out of place. One thing to be jealous about really.

Not being in the middle of repair-work, the lacewing heard the question this time more fully. With a big grin, she replied innocently "Oh yes! I wike coming here to pway!! Lasuk doesn't wike to pway, and aww the othehws don't wike to pway with me because I am too big ohw too smaww!" The way she was talking seemed to hint she didn't quite see Oiseau as being upset.
Once inside and in a relatively comfortable area that had carpet covering the floor, Rhapsody knelt down and began to fiddle with her hair again like a squirrel would. "...Wihw you pway with me aftehw I finish this?" she asked lightly before zoning off slightly. Her hair was such a tricky thing to master.

It seemed that bit of annoyance eased up as his persistence seemed to pay off. "Ahh, well you sure chose a strange day for it." He replied, taking a seat off to the side as the girl continued to work at her hair.
Now, he admitted to not understanding most women, but what WAS with the obsession with having perfect hair? He didn't like having it messy or in his face, but perfection at any given moment? That was beyond his comprehension. Not that he was about to bring it up, he's just ask Nairou about it later. He didn't feel like hearing a drawn out explaination at the moment.
"Well, I have nothing else to do, so I suppose I can." Which was true, he was simply here to avoid being outside. "So, what kind of games do you like to play, if I might ask?" He added, letting his legs slip forward slowly until he was laying comfortable on the floor.

It would take a bit of time for the lacewing to respond, since her hair was busy being tamed. Afterall, if the hair was covering both eyes, it was pretty hard to see. Once her task was completed again, she looked up and seemed to think a bit.
"Hmmmm... I wike to pway tag, and I wike to fwy awound, and I wike to cowwect weaves, and I wike to chase my fwend awound, but I can nevehw catch my fwend!"At the mention of it, the butterfly necklace which had hung rather limply about Rhapsody's neck began to move! It wasn't just the casual swinging motion an item like such would experience. The wings began to flap and fan like a real butterfly's wings would. And the pendant actually flew, from its current spot on the floor to Rhapsody's nose."Siwwey fwend!" the girl couldn't help but giggle out.

In all truth, Oiseau was rather patient so long as he people didn't hit on his pet peeve. That little bit about being completely disregarded. So he simply waited,casually watching out the window as the wind ravaged the already barren looking trees further. Though he turned back to the female as she spoke up.
"Oh? I don't believe we have much space for flying in here." Nor did he think the rather fragile looking wings the girl had would outfly him. Though he wasn't certain what the came was, so that might not have been the point. "As well, leaves would... require going outside. I believe we've distinguished that we don't wish to return to being at the mercy of the winds." Ah yes, logic at play there. "And I don't know, would your friend enjoy being chased around by two people at once?" The games seemed childish, but he'd agreed to it. He wasn't about to say no, so as long as the option wasn't ridiculous, he'd put up with it.
A curious look was cast to the necklace as it fluttered about before landing delicately on the female's nose. A rather curious friend to have, but interesting none the less. "I've never seen anything like your friend before." He added, not bothering to get up from the place he was laying down. "Do you recall where you found them?"
