Ok Ok I know it was dum but it was late & well I wanted to try. So I took out my paints & my DP head & tryed to do a face up. Only it went really really badly & now there is paint all over her face. What do I do to get it off?

I use ear cleaners (stick with cotton on) and nail polish remover that is free of oils, perfume, color and acetone. Then I just rub and rub but never hard. Wooden toothpicks for hard to get places such as ear and mouth.

Isopropyl alcohol works really well and really fast. I tend to get pour some intoa tupperware container that I wont use for food anymore and then chuck the head in. Wipes clean with a soft cloth or cotton balls no problem. I used this method with some really nasty heads I got when I running my faceup shop

I suggest using Windsor & Newton brush cleaner + a soft toothbrush (gentle circular motions) and a Mr. Clean Sponge (or three) to get the paint off. I also strongly suggest that you not soak your head in solutions - I've heard too many horror stories about resin going soft and being ruined that way.

If you mean DP as in Dollfie plus, some nail polish removers *including the non acetone ones I've tried* for some reason, they do not work or they melted my DP's face. o_0) Also, Target generic hypo-allergenic non-acetone remover left some nasty shiny spot I had to sand off.

With all the acetone non-acetone nail polish remover controversy and debate you should probably just stay away from it.
I use Goof-Off and only Goof-Off.

And I dunno what the hell Pullips are made out of but there is no safe remover for them, Everything melts them, even Goof-Off >.<

I own a poor Dreaming Cherry girl who had about 4 face-ups in less that one month... >_<

And I found that the best way to remove the old face-ups was by using banana oil.
It's not an oil, and it doesn't come from bananas... Jus smell like it! xD
The name of the compound is isoamyl acetate.

It doesn't make the resin white, or just drag the MSC aroud the head. (Do you know what I mean?)

First I use cotton balls with the banana oil, and remove all the paint and MSC that I can. Then, I move to wooden toothpicks.
I get a little cooton and wrap around the toothpick, soak it with banana oil, and gently remove the paint from inner eyes and mouth. Take you time. If you're going insane trying to wip some persistend bastardars... "This is where you get yourself a cup of hot chocolate, get your feet massaged by a slave boy and read a bit of yaoi manga...." (quoted from STEP 3 (OPTIONAL): TAKE-A-BREAK-BEFORE-YOU-WRECK-SOMETHING STAGE)

Dreaming Cherry is a mold that has very sharp eyes and opened mouth. And it is tricky to remove face-up from it... And was the best way I could find.
