Wormwood will be a very free-form, open ended RPG. I know that at first glance it looks like an action/horror type of setting, but I have created it so that you have many options on how you want to roleplay. Feel free to make up NPCs, monsters, and individual storylines, form parties and go on sidequests, or just roleplay casually with little to no fighting at all. It’s all up to you. Here are some basic rules to remember:

-Follow Gaiaonline’s TOS

-Basic roleplaying etiquette applies. (No god-modding, insanely overpowered characters, killing off another player’s character without permission, etc.)

-Try and keep your roleplaying posts in the third person, past-tense perspective.
(Example: Bob went and opened the door. = Good.
Bob goes and opens the door/I go and open the door = Bad)

-Keep things relatively clean. I don’t mind swearing, romance, or gory violence, but everything in excess is a bad thing. I trust everyone’s abilities to know when something is going overboard or not, but if I have to, I will call you out on it.

-I want this RPG to be accessible to everyone, so try not to make anything in your sign-ups or in your posts that may be offensive to someone’s religion or beliefs. If you think something is potentially offensive, modify it so that it’s not, or just don’t use it at all.

-Have fun, but be polite to other players and respect the rules of the RPG.
