The night was alive with the fresh canopy of black scattered with a thousand shining lights. Even though fall was changing hands to the first signs of winter, the crickets chirped with their melodic songs as the wind blew the long strands of grass.
Thus setting a lovely evening for a long solitary walk and wonderful amusement of picking the snow white lilies as they opened only to the moon herself. Breathing deeply the mare of a thousand stars adorned with a horn laughed with glee lighting the night with the glow of her mirth. Such a happy and joyous mare she was, always laughing and loving things around her.
Pausing to look upward at the sky she noticed a familiar star. The very one that she wished upon as a child. Then she remembered a promise made between two friends, her memory traveling backwards in time.
Did he remember as she did?
Smiling she closed her eyes and made a wish.

Thémis was flying in the dark. He learnt how to fly, and now his wings were strong enough to hold him the sky. He tried to catch the start when he was young, a promise he made, but he realised it was impossible. He couldn't flew this far. His mind was still full of Cassiopeia memories, his dear friend, his lucky star. He looked at the ground, there was someone, a unicorn apparently. He saw the silver horn shining in the dark. He decided to go seeing who it was, maybe it was her.... He put his hoof on the ground softly not to close to the soquili, he didn't want to afraid him or her.

"I wish I may I wish I might... Have this wish I wish this night." she began with a soft breath as it escaped her lungs, "Has the star fallen just for me under a canvas of black to see?" she giggled lighting her horn once again as the soft hue accented her pretty face. Cassiopeia may of grown into a gorgeous mare but her thoughts and hopes rested upon that young lady Andromeda had raised amongst two boys.
Sighing she fluttered her eyes open once more to capture a glimpse of someone standing nearby. A stallion that flickered like the stars, only brighter and more stunning than her own markings. Tilting her head she smiled for her memory was one of the best, "Themis. My you've gotten so tall since I last saw you." Nodding her head she smiled with a giggle, "And I hope you remember who I am."
Standing there she wondered if he managed the star made from a promise. Such an impossible feat really, but foals had big imaginations that could travel the length of the universe.

He smiled, it was her. He bowed in front of her like a prince. "How come I would forget you Cassiopeia." He looked at her closely too, she grew up beautiful. He put his wings on his side and come closer.
"You become tall too, and even more beautiful than before. I'm happy to see you again."

She smiled lightly, though inside she was as chipper as a chipmunk. He remembered who she was. My how memories could bring the most wonderful smiles.
"Hmm you're taller than me. But oh look how long my horn has gotten. Bet I could fight with it if I had to, and I'd still protect you like I promised."
Watching him with admiration for his wings, she wondered if he did catch a star. Even her mother said it was impossible, that they were stars born of this world from high above. Well that made sense since they did shimmer like one. But still she was curious anyway laughing as her glowing horn made the small area near them flicker and highlight from her own happiness.

Thémis looked at the horn. "Yes it's big now. Do you know the use if it now ? I'm sure you can fight." He looked back at his wings. She remembered their promises, he felt bad he was not able to keep his. "I can fly now, i'm strong enough to protect you too. But..." he bowed his head as a sorry. "I was not able to catch a star, i'm really sorry, it's impossible to fly that high, i tried many time but my mum tell me the star in the sky are not easy to catch, they are actually really far. I'm relly sorry."

Thinking to herself a moment, "My horn? Well its a good flashlight and it pokes rather well." she winked with a toss of her delicate figure. Though she was a lot stronger than most knew.
Cassiopeia beamed at his honesty for most stallions wouldn't tell the truth and make up false stories. That's what she admired most about Themis, his sincerity and truth in the way he spoke. She was raised up to know fantasy from reality thanks to the patience of her mother. It simply had to be tiring to watch over three siblings and keep them all in one pace.
"Its okay Themis." she mused nuzzling him with a wink, "I don't think anyone could fly that far and live to tell about it." She smiled with a laugh as her horn shimmered brightly. She was happy he did try though, made her feel really special.
"Sometimes stars fall to the ground to visit the Earth below. Nights where so many rain down like a shower. I think sometime we should watch one then maybe we'll find a star together."
She mused standing proudly as her flickering horn illuminated her eyes fiercely. There was a passion to happy lying within her which she knew was meant for others too.

He laughed about the flashlight, imagining Cassiopeia walking in the dark with her horn shyning.
"It would have been wonderful if i could. I will find you an other gift as bright as a star then." He blushed a little. Cassy changed, she was beautiful and self-assured.
He listenned to her story about star falling on earth. "It would be great to see it. I would love to see it with you."
Thémis become really quiet with time. But he still could be passionated. His mum teached him a lot of things about the sky and the forest. His wings were strong now, he could flew really hight in the sky.

She watched him with wondering eyes, soft and reserved yet full of radiance and much more happiness than you could image. He'd find her a brighter gift than a star itself. Slowly her horn began to fizzle its light as she pondered what exactly is brighter than the celestial bodies that roam the black canvas at night.
"Brighter than a star? Is there really something more beautiful that shines so lovely and full of happiness as a star?" She was fascinated there could be such a thing. Looking upward she wondered which would be the first to fall. surely if they both saw one then he could catch a star as it came downward to land on the ground.
Looking back at him she blushed being so aloud with her thoughts. She was a curious one filled with being happy. Even her horn that was now glowing from her soft laughter agreed as well.

He smiled amusing. She was till the same, so curious and passionated. They made a new promise, he hoped he wil be able to keep this one.
"Well i don't know if it's a thing actually. It's my mother who said to me than when she met my father and when she had us she found the most beautiful treasure as beautiful as a star. But i when i asked her what is it she told me i need to find it myself."
He felt embarrassed, because he realised maybe his mother just told him a fairytale like the other one she told him when he was a foal.
"So do you know where we can see star falling from the sky ?"

Cassi pondered his question wondering herself where stars decided to just simply fall from the sky. And why did they fall since they looked so happy twinkling like little fireflies? Did they simply feel dishearten, leaving their vast world she wondered. What could cause a star to become sad and feel the need to stop flickering, making themselves fall into the world below them. Cassi hoped she'd never have to find out why, for to become sad and unattached was the worst feeling in the world to everything you know.
"Well, hmm Mama said they are really special. And when you see one you're to make a big wish. Not saying what it is so it would come true." Looking toward the brightest star on the horizon she smiled, "We could always walk together and watch the sky. I think if we're really lucky one might come to visit us."
Cassi was a dreamer most nights, loving anything that sparkled and shined as she did. She just knew if they looked carefully, then one would fall just for them.

Thémis was sort of lost in his mind. A wish, but he actually didn't have anything to wish for right now. He had a family, good friends, wings to fly, he couldn't wish for much it would be irrespectful to what life brought to him.
"Do you have a wish to do Cassiopeia ? I don't actually. But i will walk with you till i see one for you."

A wish. Something of her greatest dreams and fantasies. Had she ever wished for anything like that in her life before she wondered. She had two wonderful parents, two interesting brothers, and everything she ever wanted.
"I really don't have a wish myself, but there's one out there somewhere I think." She tossed her head, smiling at him thoughtfully.
"I'd like that" she giggled as her horn lit up, "Its more special when two witness something. A bigger memory than if you were by yourself." She kept her gaze toward the sky as the stars smiled back at her too. Her dream had come true already since he remembered the promise even after he grew.

He smiled at her softly, looking at the sky with the same feelings as her. Their new meeting will bring new memories. They remember each others after the time they were apart. It was his wish when he was child.
"Yes, it's better if we share this new memory. It will link us again together" the idea made him smile again. He thought he didn't need to wish for them to stay friend, he was sure it was already a link for ever.
"I'm happy i meet you again Cassiopeia. Really happy."

A glimmer made her head look upward, but it was merely a star playing tricks on her. Much like her brothers in their silly games she didn't mind a little disappointment not seeing one right away.
"Aww you silly stars.... " she laughed shaking her head.
Turning back to look at Themis she smiled widely as her horn flickered back at him. "I didn't think I'd ever get big but I did and look you did as well" she laughed shaking her head again as her horn made her coat shine.
Another flicker from the sky.
"I'm so happy that you're here Themis. One will fall from the sky I'm sure of it. Its because you're here with me." She watched him with a smile then nodded. "We might have to wish for one to fall though."
Always the dreamer, she was determined to make something happen.
