It's that time of year again. National Novel Writing Month starts Thursday.
Don't know what NaNoWriMo's all about? Where have you been? Nah, just kidding. For more info than I care to type, go here.
It's difficult. No one would pretend it's not. 50,000 words in 30 days is 1667 words a day. Getting writer's block/a lot of homework/some other time consuming thing is a good possibility for at least three or more days, so that would mean you could be looking at 2000 words a day, or approximately 3 1/2 pages by my writing (probably more like just three, though. I write weirdly.)
But it's rewarding. Ask Kirby or Satanas (sorry, others, but they're the first to come to mind). Knowing you've completed a novel is a great feeling.
