Since members of our staff have chosen the classes they wish to teach, we've note we still have quite a few positions to fill. To help with that, we're opening the positions to our general members. Now, getting the job isn't going to be easy. We want the people best fit for the job. So please only apply if you're willing to dedicate your time to making sure your lessons go up and are completed.
Within the next few posts you will find our requirements, a list of jobs available, and a list of positions that have been filled. Keep checking back regularly, especially because certain positions may re-open if the person behind them decides to quit, or we decide we need someone more dedicated.

Requirements
[!] You must be able to come gaia a min. of twice a week. This means you'll be able to open your class, and close your class. Seeing a how most lessons last a week.
[!] You must be professional. I'm sorry but if you just throw your lessons together, and they aren't even nicely organized, then you're not fit to be a professor.
[!] You cannot fail a student just because you do not like them. Same goes for passing a student just because you do like them. Equal treatment is best here. However, exceptions may be made for students who want to attend classes but can't due to RL issues. Then extentions may be given.
[!] Seeing as how non-staff members cannot edit posts, when it comes to giving/taking house points, I think it would be easier if you post any points given/taken in a nice clear post in your class. Otherwise pm'ing the guild mule works too.
[!] Know your subject. If you don't know anything about the class you're teaching, well then you better do some heavy research.

Note, if you want a specific class but you feel you just can't play the character, we MIGHT allow you to change it. Though this needs to be okayed by skada first.
Astronomy - Aurora Sinistra – This character was taken from the books.
Care of Magical Creatures - Rubeus Hagrid – This character was taken from the books. He is a half-giant.
Arithmancy - Septima Vector – This character was taken from the books.
Muggle Studies – James Wilcox - He is a vain man who has droopy brown eyes. His silky, straight, red hair is worn in a style that reminds you of an overused mop. He is tall and has a slender build. His skin is deeply-tanned. He has thin lips and large feet. His wardrobe is little more than jeans, t-shirts and trainers.
Gamekeeper - Rubeus Hagrid – Again, taken from the books.
School Librarian – Britt Flores - This lonely girl has round gray eyes that are like two pools of mercury. Her silky, wavy, yellow hair is worn in a style that reminds you of a crown. She is very tall and has a lithe build. Her skin is white. She has a wide chin. Her wardrobe is elaborate, with a lot of blue and red.
Apparation Instructor – Preston Banks - This clever man has round gray eyes. He is bald, but used to have luxurious, straight, chocolate-colored hair. He is very tall and has an elegant build. His skin is brown. He has a domed forehead and full lips. His wardrobe is bizarre.
