Name: Kiyoko Evans

Appearance: Kiyoko
Along with this, she also has two large pearly white wings, with are about medium sized and are useful enough so that she can fly. She also wears a cross necklace.
Personality: Kiyoko is usually quiet, and tends to keep to herself, but she is a very caring person once getting past the barrier. She opened up the most to Lily, and if one had ever seen together, he or she can see how fun and random Kiyoko can be.
Bio: Kiyoko lives with her mother and younger cousin Zack. She was always a strange child, mainly in appearance. After all, since when were purple eyes normal, as well as having wings? Even after learning how to control the wings, they still pop out during fear or extreme emotion. This was the downside, and it didn‘t take long for others to find it. Some of the bullies back in elementary enjoyed making fun of her and scaring her, which wasn‘t so great on her self-esteem. Even though many of the children were nice, the bullies name-calling such as “freak” and whatnot irritated her, but the breaking point was when they tried to gang up on her and hurt her. After anger from her mother threatening to sue the school for not doing anything about it, the principal actually forced Kiyoko to leave, not wanting the secret to get out, which was completely unfair. Ironically, the school happened to be set on fire a year later by accident during a tax protest, when only the principal was inside, who died in it.
However, it got a much better as time went by. When moving to a new town and going to a new elementary and middle school, she made a best friend: Lily. Lily thought of Kiyoko’s issues not as a curse, but rather as a blessing that others couldn’t accept. They did everything together, and people in school weren’t quite as mean. She had been able to keep it a secret in middle school. Lily and Kiyoko are still best friends now, and Lily has been encouraging Kiyoko to attend this school They’d keep in touch, of course. That’s what the internet is for.
Powers: She has beautiful wings, so she can obviously fly. However, she also has the ability to conceal them, although they can pop out randomly or when frightened.
Extra: Kiyoko loves music, and all kinds (well, except rap). She, like many others, owns an Ipod and uses it frequently. She loves to hang out, play videogames, and loves fluffy animals. Oh, and stuffed animals. She has a lot of those in her own collection! Any other secrets she has might be found out, might not.

Personality:Is always joking around. Care free, though sarcastic.
Bio: Grew up with his brother alone. Abanded at birth, They stole for a living, Under a thieves guild made by there uncle. Because they stole school books also, they did not go behind in school. At the age of 10, they over threw there uncle and became the leaders of the guild. Under thier leadership, the guild prospered, with the help of their right hand man, jimmi. Jimmi was the only one who knoew of thier powers. Because of Jimmi and thier leadership, the guild loved them and no one tried to kill them. Jimmi recived the letter and showed it to them. They decided that Kirai will go while Ben, his brother, identical twin, stayed behind and continued to lead the guild.
Powers: Still learning about his Air and Wind Powers. as of right know, can control wind and can make loud noise. can also teleport. Also knows gymnastics.

Personality: beleive it or not he is very kind and loves to mess around with people, he is not a hard person to get along with and although it dont take him long to get mad now and days he is still very caring. he often acts real laid back and carefree and almost always does his work and other important stuff at the very last minute
Bio: zane grew up in a small town, there was not much to really do as a child so he often spent the days alone playing in the forest byhimself seeing as he was an only child. it was on his thirteenth birthday that he begain to discover his powers and it first happend by mistake which caused him to kill a raven one year in the fall, that is how he met zeek, he found him in the nest and decided to look after him, but as the months past and he begain to learn how to shape shift people begain to fear him and he soon begain to get in fight after fight so eventually he learned how to fight back and although he refused to use his powers the people of his town still gave him trouble and they still do to this day when the see him
Powers: he can create and control fire, also has the ability to shape shift into almost anything that he can imagine which also lets him manipulate the genetic make up of his body and mimic people if he so desired but that is one ability he is still working with, he hopes to soon control that extension of his shape shifting abilities so he could also have different kinds of powers and obtain perfect imitation

He face is always serious and you never know what he's thinking. If he had friends, they would see a completely different side of him, where he's usually smiling and laughing.
Bio: When Augustus was small, he would shine brightly when he was afriad or angry. It was a kind of brightness that could damage you eyes. When he was happy, shined a different kind of brightness where you feel a warmth inside you. His mother always liked that about him, and would always give Augustus a warm smile back. His father on the otherhand, hate him and thought of him as a monster.
One day after a bad day at work, Augustus's father simply went up to him and beat him up. Augustus's mother came to protect him and was beaten to death by his father. Scared and Angry Augustus let out a loud cry and shined so brightly he's father's eyes were blinded and his pupils turn completely white. Augustus was then put in a orphanage for a few years. A certain someone hear about this childs amazing power and decided that he needed to come the Second Chances Academy. He came to visit Augustus, and Augustus felt something familiar from him. This certain man smiled at Augustus and it gave him the warmth that his mother use to give him.

Personality: Clumsy and stupidish, jokes around alot and isn't serious with his teaching. When it comes to his powers, he becomes very serious, yet very cool. Loves to fight, and seems to always pick on students he would like to battle with.
Bio: When he was a teenager, he was not the same person he is now. Back then he was shy and afraid to use his powers. Then he met someone, who was more shy, more afraid than he was. He thought, if this person is more afraid than himself, he must protect this person at all cost. The two started seeing each other and Kyo became a different person. He was always happy, always trying to make this person laugh but doing clumsy and stupid things. They fell in love and that someone asked him to never go back to the way he was. A fateful day came, after they married each other, when that someone, accidentally kill herself with her own powers. Kyo disappeared from the face of the earth for 2-3 years. One day, he came to this school to get his second chance, and become the man, his wife loved.
Powers: Master of Lightning, he can create and manipulate lightning, as well as move at its speed.

Appearance:

Her demon has completely light-blue skin, with deep red eyes. Her hair becomes short and turns white, and she wears a white sleeveless top and a long blue skirt. Laura can use ice normally, and only when deeply angered or threatened will she then lose consciousness and turn into Freeze. When this happens, run. As in, why the heck aren’t you running now?! xd
Personality: On the outside, she is open and very caring, helping out her students in any way she can. On the inside, however, she is a bit timid and sometimes fearful of her own powers, since they don’t always let her have complete control.
Bio: Laura’s past is like a twisted river, full of many visible rocks and hidden cracks beneath the surface. She had been best friends with the now current principal, Katie Marywater, since they were kids, both not having many family issues. That is, until one day her parents and her two older brothers died in a restaurant building explosion; another brother and herself had stayed home at the time, since at the time Laura had the flu, so both of their lives were spared. They were both pretty much stuck for awhile, while greedy distant family members fussed and fought over land and items. However, Katie’s mother refused to let the poor children get harmed in this mess, and took them into the family as her own. However, this didn’t end Laura’s anger towards those so-called relatives, and this is when her powers began to form; she at times became as cold as ice. This cold side of her became a split personality, only known as Freeze. One day as the relatives and two children had gathered at a meeting, they angered the girl to a point where Freeze had taken over, turning the room into ice and sending all but her brother to the hospital with serious injuries, since she pushed him out of the room moments before destroying the office room. This was the only time Freeze had ever caused damage to a point of hurting others, so she went to a normal public school like everyone else. The relatives didn’t bother her again.
She’s been able to cope with her troubles through music (which she is really talented at), as well as teach it to others and help to make some wonderful musicians. Ms. Marywater is the only person other than those involved that know of Laura’s true powers, and they still are as close as sisters.
Powers: She has the power to control ice and form it from water, but along with this she also changes into an unrecognizable form, which once in a while will have a dark personality twist on the usually easygoing teacher.

Bio:Created by alchemy and magic, the was created by the dark clan, the Bloody Roses. He retired from the clan and was replaced. He went into teaching because he felt that he needed to help younger magical beings. But expects a lot out of his students. And will stop anyone who interrupts his class. He is tough but fair.

Bio: Had only his mother to help him through his life his father was killed in an accident, he grew to be intellegent nearly top of his class he was accepted as a teacher to a school where he got first hand experence from teaching the roudy students. Two years afterwards his mother was killed by an odd person in black, when the mother was found her body was scared with flames, the killer was never found, Leo soon left the school after two years to help find the killer, he learned how to control fire while searching for the killer what was amazing to him he grasped using it quickly.He soon quit folowing the man in blacks trails and started teaching students, but soon the Second Chances Acadamy sent him a message to teach at their school, he accepted and began teaching how to control your powers and manipulate it.

Appearance: Erin is a 5ft11, very well built Caucasian guy. He has short black hair which never grows. He has a tattoo down his right arm, tribal patterns from his neck line to the back of his hand. He always wears loose shirts with the sleeves rolled up at the elbow, along with light blue jeans that are slightly too long for him. He also wears safety boots, even though theres nothing that could warrant it.
Personality: Erin is quite laid back but when insubordination comes his way he goes back to military mode. He likes teaching at the school and is friendly to the students, as he is not much older than them. He likes to think that the students look up to him like an older sibling, but never talks about his past with them. He spend most of his time training in the over equipped school gym or in the pool. He looks after his friends, most of them being the students instead of the teachers.
Bio: After leaving school he went into the English army. At first he taught the children drill at military school but when he was boosted to sergeant he was moved to train as a navy seal for 3 years. He received a dishonorable discharge, on his first real mission, when he disobeyed a direct order from the general. When the school found out about his 'talents' he was fighting for the middle weight boxing title but was eager to jump into the teaching profession again.

Name: Kirakira Fukai (Glitter Deep)

Gender: female

Appearance: A kind looking lady that has creepy look in her eye. Eye's are green and hair is bright blood red. Where's a simple pair of blue jeans and a red tank top. Normal height and not to thin. Has fangs, claws, wolf ears, and a wolf tail (both are red)

Personality: Kind but creepy. Loves scaring her students with her opinions on things, is thought to be crazy.Has a strong killer intent that scares alot of people yet she is always trying to show her students that they can trust her since she dosen't feel that much older.

Bio: Was born into a normal family that showed nothing strange. At first she seemed like any other girl. By the age of 5 though things started to change. Her first change was how quick she started to gain intelligence and how quickly she grew. A first they thought she a a chemical imbalance in her brain that caused it. Nothing big happened till she was out camping with her dad when she was 12. As they sat there around the fire a deer came walking in. In an instant she jumped from her dad and attacked the deer. She started eating it like a wild beast. Her dad took her to a pshyciatrist the next day but he said that there was nothing he could do. Ove rthe next few years her teeth grew into fangs and her nails into claws no matter how many time she trimmed them. Her hair grew quickly and seemed to take on a fur like appearance. Nothing else changed till her 15 birthday when she woke up with a pair of red wolf ears on her head and a red wolf tail. At first her father and mother wanted to get them removed but she refused. Then the letter came. At first her parents refused to believe there was something strange about there daughter. After a few weeks Kirakira ran off to the school without her parents permission. THey never accepted her back and after she finfished school she decided to become a teacher so she could help students and be were she was always felt welcome.

Powers: Really strong, her sences are extremely sensitive. Very inteligente and has no problem figuring out any problem given to her. Has the ability to control fire but dosen't really show it off to much but instead uses it in her class room.

Absence from RP

I can go ahead and tell you that I'm pretty sure that the school week is hard for all of us. I completely know how you feel, since I'm a senior in high school right now, so my week (and sometimes weekend) are toppled with work. I can understand how that can be a pain and get in the way of getting time to RP on the computer. So, try to post at least once a week if you can, for those with hectic schedules.

Ms. Marywater looked out of a office window, which was high above the ground. She noted students being dropped off with luggage. Such beautiful people! Boys and girls with all sorts of abilities, both obvious and hidden. A counselor walked up to her and took beside her, also looking out the window.

“Well, Melissa, we did it. Our 10th year here in the Academy.”
“Agreed; I can’t believe we did it! How do you think it’ll go this year?”
“Oh, if there’s anything I’ve learned over the years, it’s that you can’t tell with children and teenagers. They have so many different personalities and thoughts that it’s going to be impossible to say. But, I can assure you it’ll be one heck of a year.” Ms. Marywalker replied with a grin. As she walked away, she turned back towards the vice principal. “Oh, and make an announcement for them to meet in the gym tomorrow, please.” she said, as she went back to her office.


A red car drove to the front of the school, where many other cars were with all the same purpose: to drop of the new students. A girl with purple hair got out of the back seat of this red car, her tiny feet barely making a sound as they touched the concrete. Her purple eyes scanned the area; the place seemed nice enough. She went around to the back and opened the trunk of the car. Once opened, she pulled out her suitcase, a bag, her purse, and a small kitty, named Isabel. This one was a black and white kitty, with a bows tied around it’s ear and tail. She shut the trunk, then went around and shut the back seat door. She noticed her mother had rolled down the window, and she went to look in it. There was her mother, and her little cousin Zack, one in the front and one in the back and in a car seat. “We’ll miss you back home, but you’ll probably like it here. Be careful and have a good time at the Academy.” her mother said warmly. “Bye bye Kiki!” her little cousin said; it was her given nickname by him. “I will, mom. Bye bye, Zack! I’ll see you later!” Kiyoko said with a smile, although rather nervous as she walked away from the car and as it drove off. She was all alone now.

She slowly trudged along the path, along with other students. They were so tall compared to her; they always had been. But she could see a difference in these people compared to her old school. Even from a distance she could see some showing off various powers, and some flying around the school. With a sort of relief, she let her wings out for a moment as she walked along the path on this nice sunny day. Although there were a few stares, she had gotten used to it by now, except it used to be a lot worse. They were either usually followed by screaming, laughing, or insults. She entered the main part of the building, where everyone seemed to have gathered with their luggage. Although, they’re weren’t many people here yet; only ten or so, counting her. Sighing, Kiyoko sat down on a free bench, and her stuff on the floor. She wanted to take out her Ipod, but she’d have to talk to people anyways, so she thought best to wait patiently. So she sat there, holing her kitty and twirling her hair (a bad habit she does when she’s nervous).

The woman smiled warmly at the girl; she like many seemed so lost on the first day. "Not yet, sweetheart. Tomorrow during the meeting in the gym, you will get your schedule delivered to your dorm room. In the meantime, why don't you wait in the hall with the other students until we get the number of people and dorm rooms set up?" she told the girl, and went back to working on just that.

Kiyoko had seen the girl go in the office. Wow, she's alot braver than I am. she thought to herself, since she was too nervous to go in and ask. She didn't know why, but she always got nervous when talking to others. Perhaps it was because she might mess up or say something stupid, or mabye of rejection. She started petting Isabel, who meowed softly and sat comfortably in her owner's lap. The kitty wached as Kyoko's wings fluttered slightly.

Kiyoko noticed that the girl had come back out of the the room and sat down on a bench across the hall from her own. She could feel her own heartbeat quicken, although Isabel took no notice of this yet; she was too busy looking at Gulliver, looking a half frightened, half confused, but 100% alert. "Relax, Isabel. It's not gonna hurt you." she told her cat calmly while petting her, but when trying other words in her mind as to what to say, her voice died in her throat, as if lost. Her instincts were screaming at her to get her Ipod out of her purse, but she didn't. Perhaps it's best to change sooner than later, although the words were still not there.


((I've got to go for now. If for some odd reason I can't get on this week (which I hope I can), then I usually stay up late on Friday nights!))

Star pulled up in front of the school in a taxi. Her parents wouldn't drive her, and had made it look like theyb were too busy. Yeah right. probably too busy going to the orphanage to pick up a new daughter... Star thought bitterly to herself. She felt miserable today, and knew it was really nerves, and how the people would react when her power came into obviousness.

Star gt out of the taxi, and her parents had already paid for the trip, so Star grabbed her bags outb of the trunk, which was about 3 suitcases. 2 big, 1 carry-on. Star started up the pathway, head turning every which way to see the different powers being sown. When reaching the front doors, Star stared blankly up at the building. Sure, she had a brave out edge and everything, but she was still jittering with nerves deep down.

tar entered the building, expecting poiting fingers and laughs and insults. But, there were none. Get your mind off Meadowlands Star! It's all behind you...well, sorta. Star reminded herself, nervously. She straitened her mini jacket and looked around the room. There was a girl with a kitten, and another girl who had some weird looking thing. Star chose the kitten girl to talk to, since she wasn't entirly sure that the "thing" would hurt her if she came near.

Coming closer, Star realized the girl had wings! How extrordinary! Star thought cheerfully, something she wasn't used to. She finally made her way over, and smiled down at the girl. Star then sat down beside her. "Hey. I'm Star Ferns. You?" Star asked, being genuinlly(sp?) nice. This was a change for Star big time.
