I thought we should have a thread for official Budokai 3 discussion 3nodding I got it Saturday and just started playing it whee heart (My boyfriend bought it for me as a get well present.. He is teh best gonk heart *huggle*) All the new features are sooooooooooo cool. Has anyone here played it yet? The only complaint I have is that some of the moves have been made really difficult to do - like ultimate moves have to be done in hyper mode :/ Which I guess isn't so bad, just makes it difficult at times.
And DragonUniverse is AMAZING!! heart heart heart You get to fly around, and level up whee

Actually, I have a question. You know in Budokai 1 and 2 they had physical attacks like Vegeta's 'Meteor Bash' and stuff? Do they have those in budokai 3? Cus I really liked em crying heart

Budokai 3 is.... very cool. I have a few small gripes about it, but nothing substantial, and nothing that takes away from the game (mostly missing characters)
Dragon Universe is so much better than Dragon World in B2. Just remember, not everything is straight-forward in DU, and you will be playing through some character's stories more than once.
Anyone unlock all the "arenas"? My personal favorites are Supreme Kai's Planet and Grandpa Gohan's House. They're awesome.

Sorce Budokai 3 is.... very cool. I have a few small gripes about it, but nothing substantial, and nothing that takes away from the game (mostly missing characters) Dragon Universe is so much better than Dragon World in B2. Just remember, not everything is straight-forward in DU, and you will be playing through some character's stories more than once. Anyone unlock all the "arenas"? Beat Brolly. Find the Plains scene with Bulma, then the West City scene. Finally, head to the Red Dot in the islands, and you'll fight Goku. Capsules Obtained: SSJ4 Vegeta, SSJ4 Gogeta (Vegeta) 2. Find Kibito Kai in Muscle Tower (ice island in the northeast corner) to activate Brolly, then go through Fat and Super Buu, after... when Goku tells Vegeta to go investigate the power level (Brolly), go and beat Brolly. A letter appears to Vegeta, and he's invited to a match against Goten and Trunks... Gogeta versus Gotenks. Beat Gotenks. Capsule Obtained: Gogeta

And don't forget to use "Final Destruction" against Fat Buu as Vegeta. I swear, Vegeta has the best DU in the game. After you beat Vegeta's DU, go back into it, and immediately equip SSJ and SSJ2 in the beginning. Then go and fight Goku, and transform into SSJ2. You'll thank me later. Oh! Bardock has one of the best attacks... he calls on the power of his friends to beat his opponent. There's little headshots of his crew, too. The only drawback is that it's pretty weak...

When in Goku's DU, before one of the fights (I can't remember which), go the house, and you should be able to have a little scene there, where Goku "talks" to Grandpa Gohan, and that unlocks Kid Goku.. Wait.. you meant the level... In Kid Gohan's DU a second time, instead of fighting Piccolo, go to the forest north of the Son house to talk to Goku, then fight him at Grandpa Gohan's House. It should unlock there.
