well, we came into a block ofr the finish of "cant get next to you", and we were supposed to lunge 4 seconds after horns down. well, we had to change it to 2, because several judges commented on it at the last competition. well, like everyone but 3 people forgot to do the lunge, so some did it on 3 , some 4, some 5. we all looked horrible and REALLY screwed up... then when we do a 4 count horns up, we immidiantly play the beginning of "yesterday", by the beatles. well, only 3 people came in on time, so we sounded like s**t. but YAY SAXES.

Haha, similar things happened to us.
During Instant Replay (where we replay all our shows at once), we were doing our dance for Hey Pachuco, but almost noone could remember the dance, and the guy I was dancing with hadn't even marched the original show with us b/c he's a varsity football player, so he didn't know the dance.
So yeah. It was really obvious when I messed it up, because I'm a sousaphone player. Even though I'm the shortest, you could still see me.
Then, when we were supposed to march out of the gym for the intermission, the drumline totally messed up the cadence, half the people turned the wrong way, and almost everyone was out of step. disaster, no?

That happened to us while we were in the Tunnel Formation during Pregame and were going to play our Tunnel songs. We had to play Superman, Iron Man, and our Fight song (which is Notre Dame's on crack). And we were holding our instruments on horns up for so long, it was drooping, so no one saw, except for a few people, the Drum Major start conducting. It sounded like crap. Then we fell apart. I dunno if it was the echo or what, but it sounded horrible.
