The Marauders One-X
Chapter one
Aiedail lay asleep in her bedroom on her bed. Her alarm clock went off seven times already, but all she did was ignore it. Something you couldn't stay asleep to, was constant shaking. And someone was doing just that to her. Aiedail opened her eyes and saw that she was face to face with one of the other kids. This little girl the cutest little thing you've ever seen. She had long brown hair big green eyes and the biggest smile you could imagine. "Taylor, why'd you wake me?" Aiedail asked as she sat up and rubbed her eyes. "Your going to miss the train! Its ten thirty!" Taylor had said. "WHAT!" She basically yelled. "Thanks Tay, now can you leave. I need to change." Taylor nodded and ran as fast as her small little legs could carry her out of Aiedail's room, closing the door behind her.
Aiedail had already packed her trunk, all she had to do was brush her teeth and get dressed. She threw on a black t-shirt and some dark blue jeans, after putting on some clean under clothes of corse. Aiedail ran across the hall and into the bathroom, so she could brush her teeth. She did just that and basically applied make up to her eyesas well. Aiedail rushed back into her room and grabbed her trunk. She ran downstairs with it rolling behind her. Aiedail let go of the handle of the trunk to tie on her shoes. Once she did that she called, 'Goodbye!' throughout the huge mansion. So many kids lived here. This place was once a home to a wealthy family, now its an orphanage. Yes Aiedail was a sixteen year old orphan. Before everyone could come charging downstairs to say goodbye and give her a hug, Aiedail was out the door and loading her trunk into a car. The orphanage caretaker was driving her to the train station.
Aiedail didn't know why she went to Hogwarts. She was the only kid that lived in this manison that went there. Aiedail didn't even know if her parents went to Hogwarts. Were they Pure blood, Half blood, mudblood..or more prefered Muggles? She didn't know. Only Dumbledore knew that she was an orphan. Aiedail never even told her best friends. Sirius Black, James Potter, Remus Lupin, Melanie Croft and most of all Lily Evens. She was glad to be friends with Lily and Mel. And very happy to have met The Marauders.
Before she realized it, Aiedail was walking down through the train station with her trunk and cat cage. She had a cat named Chaser. He loved to chase things. Aiedail hugged the orphanage caretaker and ran into the barrier between platforms nine and ten, but made sure no muggles were around before hand. It was ten fifty eight. Tick tick, ten fifty nine. Aiedail dashed to one of the open doors that led to the train and hopped on just as it turned to eleven.
The train started to move and she couldn't pull her trunk onto the platform with her. It was hooked onto something on the bottom of the train. Aiedail paniced. What was she to do? She tugged and tugged but it didn't come up. The train started to go faster. A familar voice came from behind her. "Aiedail?" She turned her head and saw Sirius standing there looking confused. "Oh Siri, its stuck, my trunk is stuck!" Sirius walked over to her and tried to help pull the trunk onto the train. He stopped and got down on all fours and stuck his head out of the doorway. Sirius checked underneath the train and saw that it was latched onto a hook. "Okay Aiedail, hold onto it, but stop pulling!" He shouted. She listened and did those actions. Sirius released the trunk from the hook and stood up. Aiedail pulled her trunk up onto the platform and Sirius closed the door. "Thank you so much Sirius! I thought I was a goner!" Sirius threw her a cocky smirk. "Well, I am a life saver!"
"And a show off!" Lily had appeared around the corner. She said that with a roll of her eyes. "Aiedail!! I thought you missed the train!!" Lily grabbed Aiedail's arm and pulled her into a hug. "Lily..its good to see you too.." Aiedail said, trying to gasp for air. Lily released Aiedail from the hug and pulled her down the hall into the compartment, and sat down on the bench, then forced Aiedail to sit next to her. Sirius followed them, and put the trunk onto the shelf for her. "Thanks.." Aiedail said to him, as he sat across from her. James ran into the comparment and closed the door behind him. "Stupid-fan-girls! I lost my stupid sleve!" He panted, pointing to his bare arm. The opposite arm had a sleve. Lily rolled her eyes, Aiedail laughed with Sirius. Remus hardly noticed. His nose was stuck in a book, suprise suprise.
The car door opened and James felt someone jump on his back and pull him off his feet. He screamed, like a guy of course. The arms had released him, and everyone in the car was laughing, even Remus who looked up once he had heard a scream. Melanie had stepped into the car and pulled James down to the floor. "Baby!" She said laughing. Mel stepped over James and sat next to Lily. Big mistake. She got a bone crushing hug from Lily too. "Hi..Lily..didcha miss me.." Melanie asked. Aiedail grinned. "I got one to, so don't think I feel jelous!" Mel rolled her eyes. James got off the floor. "Thats not fair! Why do your friends get hugs and I don't Lilyflower?" He asked as he sat inbetween Sirius and Remus. Lily had released Melaine. "Because Potter, you are a pigheaded jerk, and you don't deserve one, and I know what your about to say and the answer is, NO!!!" James closed his open mouth. "I know! Lets play a game!" Sirius said, changing the subject. "Ya!" Aiedail and Melaine said in the same tone of voice at the same time. Lily rolled her eyes. "What game?" Remus asked. "Truth or Dare!" Came Sirius' reply. James nodded. "YES!" He said. "Alright, we're in!" Aiedail and Melaine said together again. "Oh my gosh, we did it again!" They said at the same time yet again. "Thats..umm...weird...your..both..nevermind!" Sirius said, getting tonge tied.
"Everyone's playing but Evens!" Sirius said again. Lily rolled her eyes. "This is stupid, fine, ok, I'll play!" "Remember, everything that happens stays in the car!" Remus announced. "Agreed!" Melaine said. Aiedail was going to say that but she just nodded. "Ok Black, since you brought this up, you go first!" Lily said, folding her arms across her chest. "Fine Evens, truth or dare?" "Why me? Truth.." Lily said. If she picked Dare she would probably have to kiss James. "Okay, do you ever plan on kissing old Jamsey here?" James wacked Sirius upside the head. "Shut up!" He said. "No not ever ever ever, never! EVER!" Lily said.
"Ouch Lil.." James said, putting a hand over his heart as if he was shot. "Hurry up Evens your taking forever!" Sirius said. "Fine, Remus, truth or dare?" She asked, giving Sirius a dirty look. "Dare..." Remus said, waiting on what this brilliant brained girl could come up with. "Dare?" Sirius and James said, dumbfounded. "Shut up ok!" Remus said. He just wanted to take a stand and try to act like Sirius and James, which probably wouldn't happen over one little dare. "Fine! I dare you to...hmmm..oh I know! Lick Sirius' bare foot!" Lily said, still giving Sirius dirty looks. Remus looked slightly pale, and turned a light shade of green. He after all now had a weak stomache after last year, which shall remain a secret. Sirius laughed as he took of his shoe and sock.
"Its okay Mooney, I washed my feet..." "Thanks Pad-" "Last month!" "Ewwwwwwwww!" Melaine, Aiedail and Lily shrieked together. Remus seized Sirius' foot and licked it. "That took guts.." Melanie said, looking discusted. "James..truth or dare.." Remus said in a hoarse voice, while trying his best not to hurl. Sirius put his sock and shoe back on. "Dare!" James said. "I dare you to..." No thats to evil. I won't be so mean to Lily.. "Go and kiss the first person you see!" He said smirking. "What if its a guy?" "You still have to-" "NO WAY MOONEY THATS SICK!" James shouted. "Fine, a girl." James got up and left the compartment. He came back minutes later. "Who was it?" Sirius asked, while Melanie rolled her eyes. "Saria Becket!" James said smiling. "You have lip gloss on your chin 'Jamesy'. Did she miss your mouth?" Aiedail said in mock tone. James whipped off the lip gloss and glared at Aiedail. "Shut up! Sirius Truth or dare, dare ok." Sirius smirked. "You know me to well Prongs!" "I dare you to snog Aiedail!" Sirius smiled. My pleasure! He stood up and walked over to her. Aiedail put her hands up in defense. "NO! I will not snog," She said that word with venom. "him! We are best mates and nothing more! I use my chicken!" She said as she leaned back farther against the coshions. Sirius sat back down, looking slightly hurt. "CHICKEN CHICKEN CHICKEN!" James yelled.
"Okay Padfoot, instead," He had an evil look on his face. "lick," Sirius didn't look to happy. That word wasn't good..this wasn't going to be a fun dare. "Mooney's," Remus frowned and almost looked like screaming. "armpit!" James finished. "GROSS!" Melanie and Lily yelled while Aiedail laughed. "Fine but we're getting you back!" Sirius said. Remus lifted up his shirt and arm. "He has a six pack!" Melanie stagewhispered to Aiedail, who clapped a hand to her head. Sirius licked Remus' armpit. Everyone burst out into laughter, except Sirius and Remus, who was wiping saliva off his armpit. "I see the school! I'm going to go change!" Melanie got up, Aiedail and Lily did too. They grabbed their robes and left the compartment.
Once everyone was changed, the train stopped. They got into the carriges and rode off to Hogwarts. Once they reached the destination everyone filled into the Great Hall for dinner. The first years were sorted and Dumbledore made his yearly speech. There were two new teachers. Professor Horntail for divination and Professor Lisuite for Defense Against the Dark Arts. He warned them about the Forbidden forest and how it was way more dangerous this year, and the first room on the third floor was not to be entered. Soon afterwards food appeared on the table and everyone began to stuff their faces. Sirius was upset that Aiedail only thought of him as a friend.
