that dumbledore is gay? surprised that's correct, ladies. J.K. Rowling said that she always pictured him as H.P.'s own gay wizard. i saw it on best week ever. 4laugh i was kind of sad, because i always thought he had a thing for McGonagall. emo your thoughts?

It doesn't really make a difference... She's just trying to spread gossip about her own book so that more people wil buy/read it.

I did hear about it! It didn't make a difference, expect when I was reading the last one, I was like, "Haha, you are gay!" Although I don't really care. Ha ha.

bowl `o rice I did hear about it! It didn't make a difference, expect when I was reading the last one, I was like, "Haha, you are gay!" Although I don't really care. Ha ha. LOL That's kinda how I took it/my reaction. It made me wonder if any other characters are gay/bi. I guess not, though.

I heard that. Didn't care.
Did you know that only people that really care about Harry can see his scar? I haven't re-read the 1st 6 books, but it does make sense in the 7th.

I heard it too. Don't really care.
I mean, it was a little obvious in the last book that there was something more going on between him and his "special friend", but I don't see the point in bringing sexuality into a children's book. Nothing more comes of it in the story, so it seems like it's just an author's attempt to get more publicity.
As for the scar thing: I didn't know that. o:

yeah i heard that...... idk when.... but i don't really care like other people. it doesn't make a difference if he's gay or not. it doesn't have any effect on the book.
still i supppose it's interesting to know.

It's not important in the book, but saying it was dissapoiting in a way that there are things in books that shouln't be said, and that was one of them.
