If you could redo one thing in Harry Potter history what would it be?! Now remember you make something not happen or happen you must take into effect that it could alter the entire book! Nothing like no Tom Riddle or Hogwarts does not exist!

That's easy - kill Arthur Weasley and let Remus and Tonks live. That's one thing that I can't believe JK did - the icon below expresses my incredulity.

Instead of Dobby being stabbed and dieng, Harry takes the knife in his arm, or something like that. I miss Dobby! crying

Aye, I'd modify the epilogue. It was good, but far, far too short for my liking. Also, I would of added a comment about a "snarky dark haired headmaster" painting in the epilogue to make me feel better about Snape's death. He's so awesome. sad

I would love to see how events happened if Voldemort had chosen Neville as the Chosen One, instead of Harry. How. Many. Things. Would. Change?
Ive really wanted to know ever since the fifth. It would be so exiting to know.

Really, I just wish that there had been more actual death SCENES...that, or just really bad wounds, rather than a 'death mention'
its crap.

To have Harry actually care about Dudley when they're leaving.

If I could change anything in the books I wouldn't have Hedwig die. She was the one connection Harry had to the Wizarding world. She was really speacil. crying

Also, I agree with Orna, I don't think Jo should have killed Remus and Tonks both off just after they'd had Teddy. Maybe one of them would have been okay... dtll sad and depressing, but killing them both?! It's wrong!

HPcrazed24 If I could change anything in the books I wouldn't have Hedwig die. She was the one connection Harry had to the Wizarding world. She was really special. crying ::sniff:: crying Oh, so many of everyone who has answered in this thread, I too wish could have happened, but HPcrazed, when I read that about Hedwig- it pierced me to the heart. I remember reading DH for the first time and I burst into tears on the spot. No...not Hedwig!! I am so sentimental. Going back to Book 3, I wouldn't have Peter escape...so Sirius could be cleared and live freely...and Harry wouldn't have to live with the Dursleys -though he'd have to visit to renew the protection. In the movies, THREE things, I haven't let go of. The first, and I am close to a raving lunatic about it, is in the Azkaban movie 3. Fer GAWD's SAKE, let Remus tell Harry about the Marauders!!! It would have taken, what? 90 seconds? I have too many friends who don't read, because of ADD, and for other reasons, and most don't have time or money to listen to the CDs so they only know the story through the movies, which they love. They have no idea of the significance of the Marauders, and how much it means to Harry, and just how Remus and Sirius and James are connected. I was horrified it was left out. The other points are so jarring: In movie 2, in Dumbledore's office after the fight with the basilisk, as Harry and Dumbledore are discussing the sword, Harry handles it by the blade Brrrr....jars me out of the world every time. In movie 3, my hatred for Gambon's undelightful Albus portrayal accelerated, (and just recently because of his superb fight scene with Voldemort towards the end of Phoenix, softened a bit to the point where I might consider him Dumbledore). Anyway, Gambon in movie 3 (at that point NO Dumbledore) is visiting the Trio in the hospital wing and whomps down on Ron's injured leg, not once, but TWICE. Not even remotely amusing and so out of character.

1. Fred, Snape, and Remus SURVIVING! I cried for so many hours and still do.(dude I never liked Arthur, I wouldn't have minded if he died...) 2. The Epilogue! That was way way to short for my liking. What happened to George? or Charlie? or Luna? Sure it give fanfic. writers a chance but some want to know. 3. Harry's middle kid's name, I mean dude Albus Severus? Why not drop the Albus part and keep Severus, Dumbledore was just a gay old idiot in my opinion. (the gay part is absoulutly true, as J.K.Rowling admitted)

Alice-Cullen-_2007 3. Harry's middle kid's name, I mean dude Albus Severus? Why not drop the Albus part and keep Severus, Dumbledore was just a gay old idiot in my opinion. (the gay part is absoulutly true, as J.K.Rowling admitted) Whoa, whoa, whoa. Hold on here. I can respect the fact that you dislike Dumbledore, which is fine, that's your choice, but you didn't need to go as far as to use the words " gay old idiot". I find it offensive, to be honest. I don't know if you ment it in a homophobic way or not, but it comes off that way to me, and I love homosexuals. My best friend is gay and he's freaking awesome. So please edit that post and try to watch the "sensitive" vocab from now on, okay? sweatdrop
