I think it's because she loves him and vise versa or maybe he's not supposed to read the mind of his love. i don't know just guessing mrgreen

Well they said something about her having different brain frequencies... It's not just Edward... Jane and Aro... etc. 's powers don't work on her either...

do you think its because since she's going to be a vampire, she might be amuned to other vampire abilites that have to do with the brain? because Alice and Jasper can affect her but there ability has to do with emotions and body language

Maybe it's because Bella is Edward's imprinted except for it is a vampire love story, not werewolf.

its defenitly because of her brain frequences and she might have powers of her own that won't let them, or something....i can't wait to read what kind of powers she will have after she becomes a vampire...it could also be because she isn't as normal as everyone else, she observes things more nad thinks a tad bit differently than everyone else....and alice and jasper work with space and time, like she said in Twilight. xd that was alot of thinking i just did...

I know her brain works differently but other vampires can't use their powers on her too. My theory is because she lived around the Blacks in her childhood.

The reason Edward can't read Bella's mind is because Bella is a Mary-Sue. If you twitards don't know what that term means plaese look it up on urban dictionary.
