My favorite bands/genres are really varied. I like both System of a Down and The Shins, for example. But rock/alternative is where most of my favorite music is. My top bands right now are Tool and A Perfect Circle.

My music taste varies quite a bit.
I basically listen to Rock, but pretty much any subgenre of rock. And I can't really say I have a favorite band, I can't choose.
Right now the bands I'm listening to most are:
In Flames (Melodic Death Metal)
Guns 'N' Roses (Hard Rock)
T Rex (Glam Rock)
