So in the last few books different character are evolving into new people. One really good example is Nat. But my question is what about Damian?? When will we get some much needed attention. I've always liked him and now he seems to be falling away, Anita is his master after all. So what do you think will happen with Damian next? If anything...

I agree that LKH has been ignoring Damian when he should be one of the more major characters considering he's part of Anita's 2nd Triumverate. Just like Wicked and Truth, who seemed like they were going to become main(ish) characters when they were first introduced. More Damian in the future, hopefully.

I liked Damian but it's becoming hard for me to enjoy the characters once they become bound to Anita and start acting slavish.

I've been thinking the same thing! He's very important for the 2nd tri't. They should be focusing on him a bit more. Now that MoaD is waking, you would think they are strengthening their weaknesses.

Damian's hot stuff. Though the first scene of him in the get up had a friend of mine picturing a chihuahua dressed in frilly clothes; the whole 'I hate you for putting this on me, I wish to eat your face." feel. sweatdrop
But I must admit, I'm in love with his hair. We don't know too much about Damian 'cept that he's as ******** up as the rest of them because of his previous mistress. Wish LKH would give him a little novella or something. Even though there are main male characters galore to choose from for little stories, Damian definitely deserves some spotlight time.

I like Damian, but I'm not quite sure why.
I look forward to the moment where he becomes stronger, perhaps becoming a master vampire if She-who-shall-not-be-named is destroyed. I'm also waiting for the moment where Anita takes him to bed, and when he does that I don't think I iwll enjoy him as much any more. I don't like the amount of people Anita has to sleep with, it gets slightly confusing xD

x-Marmee Noir-x ...I don't like the amount of people Anita has to sleep with, it gets slightly confusing xD... XD I've just gotten into the habit of just asuming she's slept with them until proven differently. Which is slightly depressing...

It's just turning into another smutty novel series at this rate. Luckily for Laurell (and Anita) they have hardcore fans who'll stick by the series no matter what.

Well it would seem that there are quite a few people here who feel the same way I do about Damian. I just hope what we wish comes true and that he does get more screen time, or would that be page time? Anyway all we can do is hope...

Once Asher was around Jean-Claude and Anita long enough, his powers grew so that he gained an animal to call and his base power grew as well. But Damian becoming a master might eff with the vampire servant bond that Anita has with him. Or just make her more powerful. I'm not sure what to think yet.

I'm wondering if she's gonna focus on the new tri in the new book. She's gonna be physically away from JC which means she has to get her power from somewhere else.

I agree Damian needs more page time, he there for a couple of pages then he's gone. I wish she would do what with Edward he was there much then she goes off and write the odasain butterfly. And like the rest of you said Anita is going to get cut off from JC so where she is going to getting her main strength from her second triv.

I like Damian from day one when he showed up in the books! I'm not much for redheads, but he seemed to be a deep person, even if he was scared. Ehh. Feel bad for him, but I agree that he isn't getting is ink's worth. What's with Hamilton and her neglect towards her characters. If you haven't already noticed, she just stops writing about some characters and doesn't even refer to them. It's like she totally spazed. Then again, if I had pressure like her to pop out books like that I'd forget, too. I hope what happened to Terry Goodkind and Stephen King doesn't happen to her. You know, just writing for the sake of publishing yet another book because the publishing house you signed with is cracking the whip hard on you. That would so take the fun and art out of writing. If this happens I am going to s**t all over someone's face. (Excuse the oddity of my words, I'm just Finnish. =] )

Well LKH did mention Damian in BN so he isn't compelety forgotton. LKH is beginning to make a habit of writing a book centering around one of Anita's guys so maybe one day Damian can get his own book.
