Overview of the Vizards and Arrancar
Vizards are Shinigami that have "Illegally" obtained Hollow powers. Though they have obtained Hollow powers their Shinigami powers remain dominant thus they still use a Zanpaktu and they are the antithesis to the arrancar the same rules apply to the Arrancar but vice-versa, their hollow powers remain dominant while they obtain Shinigami powers.

Vizards:
As stated earlier Vizards are Death Gods that obtain hollow powers, although they obtain a hollow mask they do not have a hole in their chest like hollows do. In battle, the vizard use their hollow powers to augment their shinigami abilities, granting them massive increases in speed, stamina, and strength. They also gain access to some of the common hollow abilities, such as cero blasts. Bodily harm can seemingly be ignored while wearing their masks, as demonstrated by Ichigo's hollow during his unwilling transformations. Vizard zanpakutō seem to function in the same manner as those of standard shinigami; however, none of them have explicitly used their releases in combat yet, excluding Ichigo and Kensei. The vizard seem to prefer their mask-given powers to their shinigami abilities. The vizard remain in complete control while wearing their masks, unlike Ichigo's early unstable transformations. As suggested by Aizen, the fusion of the two spiritual entities allows these shinigami to reach levels of power far surpassing that of either side.

An arrancar is a hollow that has removed its mask and gained shinigami powers. The name arrancar is a Spanish verb meaning "to remove" or "to rip off," a reference to an arrancar's removal of its hollow mask. Few hollows have the potential to remove their masks normally, and even if they manage it the change is not significant. Sōsuke Aizen is able to artificially create arrancar with the Orb of Distortion, which also unlocks much more of their potential than a natural transformation would. The process of turning a hollow into an arrancar is called shinigamification. Arrancar and ordinary hollows differ in two ways: the location of their holes and the near-total disappearance of their masks. When hollows become arrancar, the chances of them retaining a humanoid form increase with their intelligence; only vasto lorde-class arrancar will definitely assume a humanoid form. If powerful enough, an arrancar can seal his or her excess power into the form of a zanpakutō. Unlike with shinigami, this zanpakutō is simply the hollow's true form sealed into a sword. Therefore, an arrancar's release of their zanpakutō is merely a temporary restoration of their former selves. An arrancar release is called resurrección (Spanish for "resurrection"). Arrancar do not have a known second release. Those arrancar under Aizen's command also have a standard theme for their clothing. Their uniforms consist of a white jacket, black sash, white hakama, and black socks with white sandals; in essence, the uniforms are basically inverted shinigami uniforms.
The "Elite" of the Arrancar are called: Espada, there are ten of these elites and they can command any other arrancar due to their strength and any ranked 11 and below.

Although vizards are considered otlaws and the like to the shinigami the arrancar are not to the hollows after all hollows only truely care about strength and nothing else.

The Vizards are what the bleach story is all about. Nothing else really matters in the plot line. Nobody cares about anybody but the Vizards. lol just kidding. but the Vizards are still really cool! ninja

Update:
The arrancar are unaware of what the Vizards truely are. Halibel, the only female espada, currently unknown in rank but either i believe 1-3, comments as Ichigo and grimmjow fight in their ulitmate forms it is like watching two released Espadas fighting to the death as her subordinates, Fracción, were too embarassed to admit that they were afraid from just watching the fight. but she reassures them that it is only natural to be afraid of an Espadas release form.
Vizard update: All of the known vizards (Ichigo is an exception) Were lieutenants and Captians in the 13 protection squads. Aizen, Gin, and Tosen were responsible for their transformations into Vizards, Kensei was the first to be turned. They were turned into hollows and it is unclear how they overcame this yet. Kisuke Urahara and Yoruichi Shihōin were Captians of Squads 2 and 12, Kisuke had been a Captian for just a little while before these incidents and he had just started the Research Institute.

I just can't wait to see the arrancar and the vizards fighting each other. i can't wait i can't wait i can't wait. the vizards actually are stronger then the arrancar (in my personal opinion) beacuase they were captains and the canpatins are the ones that kill all the strong hollows.
