Okay. I was watching the dubbed version of Naruto Eppy 109. (A.K.A. the big Thank You episode) and I noticed something:
In all the manga translations, Japanese subbed versions, and fandubs, Sasuke says "Thank You." BUT, in the PROFESSIONAL dubbed version, Sasuke says "Thank You For Everything."
I don't know about you guys, but I think American people are trying to emphasize SasuSaku more than Japanese people.
...What do you think?

I believe it was so the words fit the mouth. ^^;
Sasuke says 'Arigato' kind of slowly, not to mention it has more syllables than 'thank-you'. So in order to make the words fit, they had to add on a bit.
As cute as I though it was that that was added, I really don't think it meant anything more. ^^;

I agree with MooMoo.
I looked back earlier, and they do fit his lips.
But still, I cried big time when he said.

Yeah, it does have a lot to do with the lip-syncing.
Though, "Thank you" and "Thanks for everything" don't really have that much difference from eachother. The main point remains.

Though it did have to do with lip syncing, I think that you're on the right path when you said that SasuSaku may have been emphasized more in the English episode.
I say this because in most translations, the saying that SAKURA sad was "I love you so much...!!!" In the English, it started of with "I'm so in love with you...!!!" ((And I think that the lip sync could have still fit with "I love you so much blah blah!"))
And there can be a big difference in love and IN love. So I think a lot of people who wanted to deny that Sakura's love for Sasuke wasn't romantic no longer have that option.
And in the 109 scene, I found that a lot of lip syncing was OFF. So maybe they wanted to put in certain emphasis on the dialogue.
They did a great job, and I do think they really wanted to make the scene blare SasuSaku. <3

When translating, as much as Americans try their best to make the words fit, they can't have them always fit the lips perfectly. If that's what you're saying. Like when Sasuke says "thank-you for everything", I could see, right of the bat, the lips weren't in tune with the words at all. But the words did fit in the time he was still talking, and that's sometimes the best they can do.

It's too bad we have to let go of the fairy tale though. It would've been cool if the emphasis WAS on SasuSaku, though I'm not sure how much say the English dubbing team have on the prospects of the pairings as a whole. I'm guessing not a lot, but if it means they're supporters, then what the hey.

Haa-no, sorry, sorry. Who knows, you could be right. I guess the only way to know for sure is to ask the directors themselves. But as far as I know, Hana-chan. The directors like to take much care into such scenes as this, because they know that they're important. I can tell after hearing so many from so many panels and interviews about how much the really love these shows and their characters. They're not people who would do it just for the sake of money. And they really want to make the important scenes stand out. And I can't see these people being baised about it, just because it might not be their favorite pairing. Because like I said, they love the characters for who they are. They're an amazing group of people.

I'm not saying I'm right. XD Like you said, it's really the directors who know if the scene was emphasized. But they haven't said, and I personally think they did. Not to shove SasuSaku into everyone's face, but maybe to point out the developement between Sasuke and Sakura a little more.

Hmmm... true, true. I suppose their opinion might count as to whether or not there's emphasis. If they're doing this not so much for the sake of translating as for the sake of emphasis, then I'm happy. At least it means they acknowledge the reality of SasuSaku development.
