Ok, so this is where I'll RP my Tems when they're at home. Now, you may be wondering: Why start a thread when you already have a Tem journal where you can RP?
Well, my friends, it's because the journal is for Quick, Nexxy & Tay. They'll make appearances here but, for the most part, this thread is meant as a place to RP my regular Tems. 3nodding

There was absolutely nothing wrong about the day, not a single thing. The sun was shining and the air was crisp with fresh autumn air. Most of the leaves had fallen, and there wasn't much daylight left anymore, but when the sun was shining, it was all almost too perfect.
And, it was unlikely for a Temeo who reacted positively to rain to be on such a tremendously good mood on such a cloudless day. However, his mood could be lifted to whole new heights with one single little thought-- that usually sprung into a fountain of thoughts. Seeing Lumi.
With his tails flicking enthusiastically from side to side as he jogged along toward the direction he'd gotten from Karo, Vena soon arrived at the Namasi household. Grinning with a small gift clutched between his teeth, he hurried over to the door. Now, there were a lot of Temeos at Elros's place, but that wouldn't matter, as long as whoever got the door was willing to let Lumi know he'd arrived.
And, without letting his beloved wait any longer, he reached up to press his paw to the doorbell, unable to stop his tails from swishing side to side.

As it happened, Lumi was nearest to the door when the bell rang.
"I'll get it," she called, waving the others away as she moved to open the door.
"Hello," she said absently then blinked and let out a girly squeal at the sight of her love.
"Vena! What're you doing here? An' what's with the gift?" she asked, the words tumbling out a mile a minute. Odd how he appeared just when she'd been thinking about him and what he'd said about wanting babies...

"Hi!" Vena squeaked equally excited, his tails nearly knotting together as they swished around to their own accord. He felt a small flush of warmth and happiness and fuzziness wash over him at the sight of Lumi. My, she was such a beauty, indeed. C'est beaut.
"Oh, this, um," he murred, not finding the words. What a shame, too, he'd been practicing all morning to swoop her off her feet right from the begining. Blushing as his actions didn't go quite as planned, he merely leaned forward to give the little round package to Lumi.
"For you!"
Oh, hopefully she'd like it, it took him forever to find one that he thought would be her style.

Lumi watched him with a smile, amused by his inability to form a sentence of more than 3 words.
"Really? It's for me?" she asked, wrinkling her nose and trying hard not to burst into fluttery giggles as she took the package from him. What could it be?
Avarice didn't particularly care what was in the package, he just wanted it for his own. All stealth, the imp poofed from his perch on the arm of the couch and reappeared behind a potted plant wedged up against the wall next to the door.
If all went as planned, he could grab the goods and take off without anyone realizing until too late...
"Sorry for interrupting but.." Elros said, seeming to appear out of nowhere right behind the offending imp just in time to snatch him up before he could make his move.
"That's not for you, Ricecakes. Anyway, you two continue," she chirped, carrying a sullen Avarice into the kitchen with her.
"How does she do that?" Lumi wondered aloud then shrugged and looked closely at the package. She was dying to find out what was inside but she didn't want to completely destroy the wrapping paper so she took her time removing it.
"Wha's inside? Wha's inside?!" Quick asked impatiently, moving in closer to get a better look.
"I don't know yet silly," the older female chided lightly then took a deep breath and carefully folded the wrapping paper back.

Vena could hardly stay in his fur as Lumi took the gift from him, shifting excitedly on his spot. He'd never gotten anyone a gift quite so special before, so he was anxious to see her reaction. Can't go wrong with jewellery, Karo always claimed-- it was puzzling, because the girl never wore any accessories aside a hairband.
Surprised by Elros's quick and silent entrance, he blushed furiously. "Oh, hi El. Bye El," he smiled with small confusion. Karo hadn't kept any of the candy, probably because of the trauma of stuffing the imps into the wrappings, so he'd never seen an imp Temeo before. Blinking, he turned his attention back to Lumi, from which it slid over to the kit approaching to see what was this all about.
"Hi Quickster, been a good girl?" He inquired with a wide smile, sitting back on his haunches while Lumi delicately opened the package to reveal a silvery choker with a total of five green gems embodied within, going from the big ne on the middle to the smaller ones on either side.
The male gave a hopeful look, cocking his head to the side with curiousity. "Do you like it?"

"Yush!" Quick answered enthusiastically, grinning brightly at Vena.
"But I've been feelin' kinda funny lately. Mama thinks I'm just gettin' a cold or summin'," she continued then trailed off, catching sight of the shiny stones on the choker.
"Ooooooh." @o@
"My sentiments exactly," Lumi giggled then leaned forward to kiss Vena on the cheek.
"Of course I like it! It's from you..and it doesn't hurt that it's also very pretty," she said with a smirk then picked up the trinket and passed it to the male tem.
"Gimme a paw with this?"
At some point in the proceedings, Elros had returned and, keeping back for a moment, she watched Lumi and Vena with a smile.
Then, silent as a mouse, she moved in and scooped up Quick.
"C'mon little girl. Let's get you into bed for a nap and I'll bring up some chicken soup for you later," she whispered to the kit then spirited her away upstairs, leaving the couple alone.

Vena purred with contentment as Lumi leaned over to kiss his cheek, his eyes squinting in a happy smile. He looked up at Elros as she, again, returned unnoticed and just scooped the little kit up. Except that she was actually looking a little taller than what he remembered. Shrugging it off, he took the choker, carefully placing it around Lumi's neck and doing in the two clasps that'd hold it still.
Peering back around her, he looked her up and down as if to evaluate the outcome. "So pretty," he commented with a smile, not exactly talking about the jewellery.
Updated Lumi with the choker. ;o

Blushing furiously at the veiled compliment, Lumi ducked her head and pawed at the floor self-consciously. It should be illegal for anyone to be so charming..
Recovering now, she lifted her eyes and pranced over to the nearest mirror (one of many that El had strategically placed all over the house) to peer intently at her reflection. The choker's green stones perfectly accentuated her coloring..
"Thank you so so much, Vena. It's the most wonderful gift I've ever gotten!"
(( I'm soooo sorry about the delay, Karoluff. ><;; I've just been having a rough time of it lately. u.u I was sick toward the beginning of the month and then my period was late and it freaked me out pretty bad and then when Aunt Flow finally showed up, first thing she did was punch me in the gut over and over again. gonk T3T *is a wreck* ))

"I'm so happy you like it!" The male piped, writhing with enthusiasm. If he liked anything more than taking naps on top of the fridge, it was seeing Lumi with a smile on her face. He nuzzled the female's cheek affectionately, tails swishing wildly from side to side.
"You deserve it," he cooed happily, hardly able to contain his affection toward her. "But best gifts can't be bought from the store, I'm afraid. I'm honored to be graced by your smile."
Or something, he read that from one of the books Karo had gotten as a gift and never read because they were pure trash in the form of words.

It sounded corny to Lumi but, since it had come from Vena, it made her smile and even blush a little.
"I don't think I really deserve it but still, thank you so much. I love it," she murmured, leaning in close to him and planting a kiss on his lips.
"And I love you."

Lumi surveyed her nest with a critical eye, walking all around it once, twice and then a third time.
"Hm, it needs something," she muttered to herself, absently patting her tummy.
"I know, I bet a hair from Vena's forelock would be just the touch it needs.. I think I'll go look for him.."
And, without a second thought, she waddled out of the house and down to the shop..

To his great disappointment, Greg had found no pumpkin cookies at the shop. So, instead, he invited Tris to accompany him to his home to look there for cookies.
"Now, there should be some here but, if not, we might be able to talk Elros into baking some. She's a sucker for big, sparkly eyes.."

Tris gleamed, "Sparkly eyes? Not a problem... If we can get her to make some, what do you suppose she'll make?" She pondered silently on what the cookie-baking queen would make, hoping she could eventually try the pumpkin delights of which Greg spoke.

"We'll just have to wait an' see," Greg replied with a shrug then, motioning for her to follow, he walked into the expansive kitchen run by the mistress of the house.
"Normally there's cookies hidden away but the pumpkin ones are more elusive.."
"Sure are. The last couple were snatched up not 5 minutes ago," Elros said, looking up from a mixing bowl.
"I was just about to make some more," she added then grinned and bowed slightly to Tris.
"Who's your pretty friend, Greg?"
Not in the least bit startled to find Elros there, Greg smiled and then, with a sweeping gesture, introduced the female tem.
"Elros, this is Tris. Tris, this is Elros, my caretaker."
"Pleasure." =^-^=

"Hullo." Her voice quivered as the smell of the cookie dough caught her off-guard and 'dragged' her towards El's side. She looked up at El before turning to Greg and saying quickly, "She's prettier than me by far..."
