What can I do?

Now I gotta know, really. Who, I would like to know, is still in shadowfox?

If we're going for a fresh start, I motion we start advertizing in the guilds forum and delete some bloody accounts, because we're hurting, here. We need new blood. We need ANY blood. Any will do, but we need a contingency of at least say, fifteen active members to get rolling.

One asks: "How do we do this?" We have to make SF look good from the outside, we have to make it entertaining, and we have to make it SPECIAL.

What made SF special when I first came here? I was a newb. I wanted to be a part of something, I wanted A COOL CUSTOM SIG, and a PLACE TO FIT IN. Who remembers the original banners?! The bloody awesome things with the avatars wearing red and blue armor with the fox masks and the claws?!? Gimme one of THOSE!

This is important, you see. People want to be custom. I'm getting better at drawing, I've seriously seen worse in the art arena, and I've got help anyway from someone who's even BETTER than me. I can do it, and I bet there're others that can.

We need hierarchy. We need content, but not so much as to discourage uninitiate folk. Something to catch the hearts of the people, where a new guy sees your sig and thinks, hey, I want to be one of THOSE. It's ADVERTISEMENT. There is a demand, now more than ever, to be bad a**.

And let us face it, are we not able to meet the demand? cool

For is it not written, "He who dies with the coolest banner, didn't have enough HP?"

We certainly do have to try harder than the rest. We will have to purge the faithless and snag the newbs before they have alleigances. Newbs are smart wnough, and make stronger bonds than experienced guild-hoppers. Thinking like a cigarette company? Maybe. Immoral? I said, MAYBE!!

A time back, I briefly encountered Mala, or Haradaya, the guild leader of old that abandoned us to sell PETS. ******** Puri pets. She never came back like she said, and I was left to take control.

I may be more inspiring, I may know vastly more in the way of commanding forces and battle. I may be more intelligent, and basically a better leader, but despite all this she ran the guild better because she drew pretty pictures for all the members! The guild was strong under her rule because she made her members happy.

I need to do that, too then. And to address an issue, I may have relinquished power equally between myself, Ilithia, Crimson Shadeo, and Klaus, but I really wonder if that was a decision that helped strengthen the guild? I want to hear back on this. I do not propose to take all responsibility back and take the reins. That's uneccesary, we have few enough numbers to successfully be a total democracy!

Also: The battle system is coming out, and I want everyone who can to have as much weapons and armor as possible. With the taste of battle in the air, I want us fighting as soon as possible in order to really bolster the ranks with some fame. I only hope that items already available have some combat significance, like my helmet, jacket, boots and gloves, and the staffs, various hats, biker helmets, etc... I don't want to lose more money trying to buy specialized armor and gear. that would slow down our efforts, no? And it'd put the few gold hoarding elite at the top immediately.

In short: I want to give the guild a great big jolt. Not only that, but clear off the dead excess, and pump out some good material. We also want to be as ready for battle as possible, to garner respect and fame in the arenas. I want to make this guild healthy and powerful, and given the choice between that and a halo? I'd definitely take the former.

Not angry, but definitely put off. No matter how good a leader I may be, it's not all too fun. I've always hated the responsibility, even though I've gotten good at carrying the burden of others.
