 It was a quite and peaceful night. The grass and trees swayed in the soft breeze that passed through the moon-lit meadow. Yudoku had strayed off of the tribe grounds in search for food and now wandered about aimlessly. She was in no rush to return, as she had already caught enough food to keep them satisfied for the time being. Now her explorative side came out as she looked for a small meal to eat herself.

Orion listen carefully to the wind as it softly blew through the trees. He crouched carefully eying his prey. He had wondered away from the mountains of his tribe to be; the place he now called home. Orion found this valley to be very peaceful.
His muscles tensed as he readied himself to attack...but then he caught a peculiar scent on the breeze. Another fox was somewhere close by...a vixen. Just then his prey (a deer) got spooked by something and dashed off. Orion sped out after it into the open meadow.

At seeing the movement of the deer sprinting across the meadow, Yudoku's hunter instincts went into full gear. Practically ignoring the male fox that was chasing after it, her crimson sharingan eyes locked onto their target and she cut a course straight in front of the deer. Once close enough, she leapt up and clamped onto it's throat, her claws digging their way into it's neck. Having already done this several times this night though, she currently lacked the strength to pull it down to the ground on her own. She clung on nonetheless.

Noticing the female lunge for the deer, Orion almost back off. But then he saw that she was having trouble bringing the creature down. He quickly pounced on the pitiful deer, knocking it to the ground with a thud. He held it there until it stopped moving, then he got up to leave the vixen to her meal in peace. Bowing slightly as he backed away.

"Oi, no need to leave," Yudoku said with an appreciative smile as she watched him start to back away. "We both brought this thing down. And if I am not mistaken you were chasing it first, were you not?" After speaking she momentarily lowered her head back down to break the deer's neck, just to make sure that it stayed down. "Besides, no way I could eat all of this on my own. Would be a shame to let so much meat go to waste."

He smiled. "I had been chasing it. Something in the woods spooked the thing. I'm not sure what though." He glanced off in the direction he had come from. He looked back at the black and purple fox. "I'd love to eat with you." He then realized that what he had just said might have sounded forward. He smiled slightly. "As long as you don't mind." He bent down to tear into the creature's flesh.

Yudoku's smile shifted to the slightest of smirks. "You are a polite one, ain't ya. I should be asking you permission to share the deer, not the other way around." She tore a small piece of flesh out of the throat and ate it before addressing the other fox again. "My name is Yudoku by the way. What is yours?"

Orion swallowed his bite before answering her. "My name is Orion...It's nice to meet you, Yudoku." He laughed a little. "I'm not always polite, you caught me at one of my good times."

Yudoku laughed a little, swallowing another chunk of flesh from the deer. "Is that so?" she replied. "So do you have like an on and off switch then for manners or something?"

"A switch?" Orion laughed and shook his head. "Not that I know of. You find one, please tell me." He took another bite and finished it before speaking again. "So are you from around here?" He turned his ear toward the forest after hearing a faint sound. He paused for a moment to listen, but didn't hear anything else. He turned his attention back to Yudoku.

"Mhm," Yudoku replied through a mouth-full of neck muscle. She swallowed and continued. "I am from the Lunarie tribe. Our grounds are not very far from here. What about you? Do you live on your own or are you with a tribe as well?" She had heard the sound in the forest as well, but dismissed it as merely being a harmless forest creature. The thought didn't occur to her that it could possibly be something more.

"My tribe is just starting up. We live in the mountain area. It's really a very nice place. I'm hoping it will be my home for a long time, but you never know what could happen." Orion sat down and began to wash his paws and face. He had had enough to eat for now. "Lunarie tribe, huh? I've heard of it. I thought about trying to join once...but I didn't." He sighed. "My sister wouldn't fit there very well."

"Oh?" she replied curiously, watching him as he cleaned. "Who's your sister? And does the tribe you are in have a name yet?" She had pretty much had her fill of food for th time being as well and began cleaning her own fur.

"My sister's name is Kiati. She is quite....hyper and overly friendly." He half laughed, half sighed. "But yes, the tribe is called Enigma. Everyone in it shares a love for intellect."

Yudoku laughed a little. "Yes, excessive hyperness is definitely taboo in our tribe," she replied with a nod. "But the Enigma tribe, eh? Interesting name. Wouldn't have thought of having a brainy tribe. Sounds interesting."
