The summer home of the Yoshitaka family resides in the outskirts of Yokohama on a sprawling estate that hangs just on the edge of a private beach. Being one of several such homes located around the world, the Yoshitaka family's main home is actually in Tuscany where they own several of the largest established vineyards in Italy. The Yoshitaka's only son and heir has been allowed to remain in Japan however, residing in this summer mansion estate until he has finished his schooling in the prestigious Ouran Academy. His parents consider it to be 'roughing it out' a bit for their beloved middle child. But it is also considered a part of the growing-up proceedure for a young man to be on his own, and running his own household.

The summer home (if one can really call a sprawling lavish estate spanning hundreds of acres that) is quaint...only containing 216 rooms. It comes equipped with all of the necessities of modern aristocratic life such as a full staff of maids and manservants, a small army of the best Italian chefs imported from Italy, a personal movie theater, a massive wine cellar in the sub levels, several swimming pools, a library that's three stories high, horse stables, a spa, a golf course, a large green house and private garden, a large dining hall and drawing room, and a small museum where prominent sculptures and paintings can be viewed.

It can be said that the pride of the Yoshitaka family lies in their amazing ability to not only create the popular wines that are sold all around the world and favored by the elite and upperclass, but also in their skills at serving such wines. As such many lavish parties and banquets are held each year at the Yoshitaka's many residences to celebrate their newest vinetage. All members of the Yoshitaka family are skilled as connoisseurs of fine wines, and so their skills in this area are often called upon by various families at events. Wine tasting parties are a must, when deciding to visit the Yoshitakas, as they always offer a sampling of rich cheeses and olives and fruit flown in fresh from their company bases.

However, when not involved with securing the family's place and status amongst the ultra rich community, the son of the Yoshitaka family is said to spend his days writing poetry and plays in the drawing room, or dancing and listening to classical music in the privacy of his home. The peaceful atmosphere of this summer home is easily felt and experienced by all who step within this domain. It is an artist's sanctuary and a place for those who wish to spend their days quietly to thrive...

Welcome visitors, to the Yoshitaka Summer Home!
