The guild has been so slow lately I just want to get an idea of how many people are still coming here and at least checking up on things.
This is not one of those post or get banned deals. I don't like banning people. I just want to get a better feel for how many people are still active and if it's worth keeping this guild up and running.
Please post to let me know if you're still around.
I'd also love to hear any suggestions you may have for getting things more active around here.

seriously, though, i've just recently started checking on my guilds on a semi-daily basis. But if I've got nothing to say, ya won't hear from me. sweatdrop

I check by on a daily basis I just don't usually post unless I see something new to reply to. Maybe we could do a monthly contest or something to encourage guild involvement. Also it would be neat if we could somehow celebrates birthdays and the like on here too.
Also maybe we could get more involvement by coming up with a common goal that we could all work towards on gaia, like getting pregnant gaians or baby items etc.

I hear ya there SmithPresea. I've already got so many things going on...
Thanks electricdecember. I usually stop by when I'm on Gaia. Though sometimes I'm not on long enough to even do that much.
Do you have any ideas/suggestsions for what sort of contests we could have? How would you recommend that we celebrate birthdays?

Maybe for contests we could have a dice rolling or random number thread. Or maybe a bump contest where you have to come up with baby names in alphabetical order, and post them one by one, or choose 1 letter and whoever can post the most names starting with that letter (posting 1 by 1 again) without repeats. Just a couple thoughts.
For prizes I was thinking just for avi-art or maybe monthly sealed envelopes.
And for celebrating birthdays I was just thinking an announcement/birthday thread to celebrate a little.
Oh ya and we need to make a costume thread so folks can submit photos of the little ones' halloween costumes!
I definitely understand being busy and not being able to come on that much though. Recently we've had family visitin so I havent been able to come on as much either.

I try to get on when I have time, i just had my baby two weeks ago, and before that I was on bed rest cause I got to big and went over due. now that things have calmed down I should be able to get more free time to get on smile

Threads like that I'd love to see the members starting even. I'm not real uptight about that sort of thing.

Greetings!
I still visit once in a while. Currently, I, and the children, are staying with my in-laws (due to black mold found in our bathroom and our house being unsafe for our children because of it), and though they have a really fast internet connection, I limit myself greatly in regards to the internet (spending the day being Momma to two small children, instead). I really only get online once in a while. When I do, and am visiting Gaia, I do pop in here, but don't usually have much to say.
I like this guild, though. I rarely visit the Gaian Parents Guild (BadLoki's guild), as I did not really get along well with one of her crew - so I always come here first, and prefere this guild, Parents Lounge, (it's also the guild I recommend first to people I come across).
