The dirty blonde anthro walked through the forest, deep in thought. He was not thinking about the things he was observing this time, though. He was thinking about another thing. Well, not a thing, it wasn't just a thing at all. No, it was a someone, actually, who, right now, seemed oddly important to him. He sighed, 'That was an interesting talk with her sister...' he thought as he came up on a log. He sat down on it and looked into the almost ominous canopy of trees. All of the little sounds in the forest intrigued him, and for a few moments, he forgot about the inner conflict he was having with himself. But, only for a few moments.
He sighed, listening to a bird chirping, and he smiled at it's sounds. The music of the forest absorbed him into it's peaceful melody, and the smell of the trees eased his nerves so well.
He couldn't help missing the someone that wrapped themselves around his thoughts, and soon he longed for their conversation, or maybe just their very presence. He stood, finding the forest not as joyful as it used to seem and he stood up, bundling himself into his scarf and shivering at the cold autum air, and he walked off, hoping that he'd soon come across the someone.

Leaves crunched in the delightful manner that they do as the multicolored Namir shuffled through them in an autumn induced daze. They were so captivating in their soft, warm tones; it would be quite a sight at sunset when both the sky, ground, and the sea between were all burning together. This is why she had come here with watercolors, tablet, and troublesome tape in tow in a little satchel, she didn't get a chance like this too often. However, she felt a slight bit of regret that she would not be able to seek out a certain someone today after being unable to see him the day before. Her sister had seen him and relayed the message he seemed to be doing fine, if a bit spazzy. He seemed to stay on her mind even after they had parted company, an unusual occurrence for the typically secluded female. Even as she looked at paper, the blank space for her mind to spill it's contents through graphite before being refined into canvas, his face seemed to form from pencil strokes.
In fact, she could see him even now. Wait, something's wrong here.
"Jonas?" She called in her inquisitive yet airy voice from a fair distance away. It was far enough to cause her vivid green eyes to squint slightly. "What are you doing so far out here?"

Jonas sighed, a lonely feeling coming over him. He knew he wasn't the only one in the world, though right now it certainly felt like he was. Occasionally it hit him that life was just to distract us from the fact that we were all going to end up suffering and dying at some point, and he was scared of that. His tail swished in a gloomy and somber manner, hoping that he'd find some company soon. And, hopefully, it would be from the one he wanted to see so bad.
His ears perked as he heard footsteps throughout the seemingly empty forest, though he couldn't tell from where. Not until he heard the ever familiar voice, did he look up from his feet and grin widely at the mostly white spot he saw a few yards off. He felt suddenly overjoyed and he waved.
"Lisa!" He said, in his smooth and soft voice, though, despite his somewhat shy demenour, his soft voice could carry itself for miles if it wanted, though usually he saved that for singing. He walked quickly to Lisa, grinning the whole time. "I'm just...thinking I guess..." He shrugged, steam coming from his breath, as he stood next to Lisa, looking down at her and smiling widely. "How're you?

Lisa sat and slipped the satchel off over her head, causing her ears to flop a little, and let it slump to the ground. There was no real echo, but his voice reverberated in her head. It was so soft but so clear ; she didn’t want it to end. Secretly , Lisa longed to her him sing. She couldn’t help but smile as he did, it was contagious. "I’m doing fine," Lisa answered a little automatically, not focusing on her words, distracted by her company. No longer were her thoughts on the auburn surroundings, but rather the blonde in front of her and the enticing prospect of holding a conversation with him. Admittedly, Lisa wished for something pleasant to speak of, something inconsequential like the weather, but something seemed amiss with Jonas. 'Perhaps he had another nightmare,' She mused inwardly, a little twinge of a frown tugging at her face from concern. "Are you alright? You seem jubilant now, but a moment ago you looked wistful and lost in thought.“ She inquired with slightly worried tone as she tilted her head to the side by a sliver. “Is something bothering you?"

Jonas sighed, a slight shiver taking his body into it's cold clutches. He laughed softly as her ears flopped, secretly thinking it was cute. He sat next to her and listened to her as she spoke to him, his ears slinking lower and close to his body as if they were begging for some sort of warmth. "Thats good..." He said, smiling as he heard that she was fine. His tail twisted nervoulsy around him and he played with a fallen leaf, tearing it into random shapes, discarding them when he got a little bored with it. "I'm alright...I was just...thinking." He sighed and hugged his knees to his chest, propping his head up and looking over to Lisa with an unintended expression of affection. "I just had a dream..." He said, "And I came to a quite place to think about it." He sighed, "It wasn't scary like the others. It was...nice." He looked down to her tablet. his cheeks rosy from the crisp and cold air, "What're you planning on painting?"

Her eyes settled on his face as he rested his head. Lisa did not recognize the look Jonas was giving her, but it made a little bubble of joy develop in the pit of her stomach that suddenly morphed into butterflies. For possibly the first time in her life, Lisa blushed when she realized she was staring.
"Oh, uh," she started, turning her head away to hide the pink hue that she figured would be showing through her white fur, "The leaves are turning. When the sun begins to set, I was going to try and find a place to look out over the ocean surrounding the island. I imagine the sky, the ground, and the reflection on the water will be a fantastic view." By now, Lisa had regained enough of her composure to look Jonas in the eye again as she spoke. "But I don't think the sun is going to be in the right place for a while, so I'm in no rush."
She paused, trying to make it seem as though she was less anxious to speak with him than she actually was. "May I ask what the dream was about?" Lisa asked as politely as she could. There was a perpetual curiosity in her for the contents of Jonas' dreams, but she never wanted to make him uncomfortable by asking about something that upset him. However, because he had mentioned this one had been pleasant, she decided to inquire about it.

Jonas felt a smile brim on his face as he felt her eyes on him. He noticed a pink hue become visable through her fur before she noticed it. A breif sense of calm and relief flowing through his blood stream. The blond had a feeling something would happen by the end of the night...or...he'd hoped it did. He had things he wanted to tell Lisa, though, right now was not the time.
His ears perked at what she said she was waiting for. That'd be perfect. "Yes, a fantastic veiw indeed." He said, smiling in his usual peacful and sweet way, "May I join you to see the sunset...? I've heard that it's spectacular around here in the Autum..." He blushed a little, though it was hard to tell with his cold cheeks. "I mean...spectacular things should be shared by friends like you and I? And It'd be terrible to waste the expirience by veiwing it alone...right?"
He paused, blushing more. "Well..." His ears pulled themselves back embarassedly, "It was about you." His laughed, "It wasn't anything bad, we were just talking and painting a picture. It was a fun dream."

Lisa chuckled in a spacey manner; the notion of Jonas dreaming of her had sent her brain spiraling into la-la-land. Trying to bring her consciousness back to reality, she focused on the his request for a moment. "I suppose... that would be fine." Lisa stated in her airy voice, quietly and semi-distracted, still pondering the question. However, after the words were out she realized how disinterested she must have sounded. "Ah, I mean, I'm usually by myself while I do this sort of thing and I didn't want to end up ignoring you, so I had to think about it for a second. But since today I was mostly going to try and get the colors right it would be easy to hold a conversation at the same time. Maybe I could even hear you sing a little. Not that I'd just want you a long so you could entertain me, that is, I really do enjoy your company, I just thought I'd ask since I know you sing and I've never heard you before is it just me or is it cold out here?" Throughout the monologue, Lisa's speech had become increasingly quickened and less thought out, eventually leading to her cutting herself off before she said anything that would make her feel even more foolish.

Jonas laughed as he listened to the manner she spoke in. Sometimes she seemed so neurodic. He nodded, "Of course I could sing for you." He smiled, looking at her with the affectionate expression again, "I wouldn't mind...though I might not do it for anyone else but you." A shy laugh escaped him and he sort of sank into himself. He figured it would be a good way to tell her what he wanted to say. He always found it easier to tell the 'desires' of one's heart in song rather than actually speaking it. That way, whoever he told it to, they'd be more likely to pay attention to the sound of it, rather than the lyrics.
He sighed, a puff of steam coming from his mouth, "So, Lisa..." He said, trying to come up with conversation but failing to find anything interesting to say. "Uhm...I ran into your sister the other day...though, she probaly already told you...eheh..." He mentally cursed at himself because that was the only thing he could come up with. 'How pitiful!'

Lisa gave a small sigh of relief, a cloud of mist forming and dissapating in front of her face. She was glad he agreed to sing for her, and also that he didn't think she was strange for asking, but a little something nagged about why Jonas seemed so shy. Well, shier than he usually was.
"Did Kyandi menace you?" She asked with her head tilted to the side, figuring his behavior must have had something to do with her busybody of a sister. That is to say, a busybody that she cared for deeply, but a busybody nonetheless. In fact, Kyandi had not told Lisa of her and Jonas' encounter, which only made Lisa think she must have intimidated the anthro. Intimidated with or about what she couldn't think of, though. "Don't take any threats she said seriously, she's much too compassionate to ever physically do anything bad, even if she doesn’t act like it."
Lisa stood up on all fours. Ducking her head into the loop of the satchel with her supplies in it, she proceeded to nudge Jonas in the arm with her forehead. "Come on," She said, a benign grin wound onto her face and a leaf stuck to the top of her head, "Let's get going. We've got time, but I don't want to end up rushing later."

((It's okay~))

Jonas would never think Lisa was weird, unlike several of his family members, who thought, by how he'd discribed her, that she was very very, most incredibly odd. Though Jonas could never see why. He'd never met someone that shared so many of his intrests. It was great.
He laughed, "No, she didn't menace me." His tail swished happily, "She didn't really threaten me, either. Don't worry." He sighed, "We actually had a pleasant talk. All she really did was ask me whether I was gay or not. And then she asked me someother things. It wasn't too painful." Actually, he was quite happy that he'd gotten to talk to Kyandi. It helped him realize his feelings for Lisa, when before the talk, he was just questioning them. Though, now, he was sure about what he felt!
He watched her as she stood and he nodded, standing up and looking down at her with a smile, "Alright." he said, "Rushing is no good, anyways. It makes people stressed, and no one looks good when they're stressed."

Lisa started walking and looked over her shoulder at Jonas. "That sounds like something she'd ask." She said with a little laugh and her grin returned any nervousness that her sister had somehow frightened him long gone. Her grin stayed wide and did not dissipate into a smirk as it normally would if something made her smile. Around Jonas, everything that was good was better, and even when Lisa wasn't around him, thinking of him made whatever she was doing seem more worthwhile. She had an inkling of what the pleasant emotion that she got at the thought of him was, but the multi-colored Namir didn't want to admit to it just yet. After all, she never really got out much, how should she be able to recognize something that is notorious for being elusive?
A little breeze picked up and caused Lisa to shiver; the air was wet and cold. It played with the leaves on the ground and in the trees before settling down again, but that was enough time for her to smell the salt on the wind. "This way," she said, the foliage beneath her paws rustling and crunching. "I can smell the ocean water."

Jonas laughed, "Yes...and of course I told her I wasn't, so theres nothing to worry about there." He smiled, shuffling through the leaves and finding an odd sense of joy as he listened to the sound of both he and Lisa's footsteps. He sighed, looking to Lisa as she walked and admiring her beauty. He loved all of her little speckles. They were just so colorful and cute.
He blushed a little, zoning out into his own fantasy world and humming a little tune to himself, before snapping out of his daze with a jump as he heard Lisa speak. He smiled, shivering along with her"Oh, good." He said, "I love the sea." He sighed, "The mystery of its rapturous depths amazes me."

She slowed down a bit so she was more beside the other then in front of him. Lisa took note of how much taller her was than her, and yet he never struck her as intimidating. Probably because he had such and soft voice and presence. But, if he was so soft, why did he make such an impression on her? His hair, his eyes, his voice, the way he walked, the way he spoke, the way he looked at her... All of it just got into her head and refused to leave, not that she wanted it to. "Me too," she said dreamily, "The variety of creatures that inhabit it never ceases to astound. Such a wonderful balance of beauty and function in an environment that is as captivating as they are; it's really something."
Pressing on, Lisa led them through the trees to a place where a cliff steeply formed from the ground and dropped into the churning water below. From here, the symphony of thunderous crashing waves beneath them was reduced to a hypnotizing background sigh. Way out in front of them, the sun was large and setting, but not touching the horizon yet. It was reflected in the water which was becoming increasingly yellow and orange.
"Here," She stated simply and sat down, careful not to get too close to the edge. Lisa ducked her head and let the satchel slip off and flop to the ground, taking the little red-brown leaf that was stuck to her head with it. "Was that on my head the whole way here?" She asked when she saw the leaf, a little bit embarrassed.
