I just got re-obsessed with FE a couple of weeks back, considering:

1) I never finished the game
2) I missed a bunch of recruitments
3) All my lords were low leveled (didnt think they'd actually be good/get promoted)
4) Had NO flying units, which was a major pain, and the worst:
5) I let Marcus take an assload of experience from everyone else

So yeah, I tried playing on my craptacular file, but I got pissed and just made a new one. Now I'm at Chap. 21, and I'm very happy with my characters, except for two minor things:

1) I chose Lowen over Kent/Sain, which I kinda-sorta regret, but I mean, all three of them kinda suck. I just really likes paladins in every game, but really; even Marcus and Isadora are crap.

2) I let Erk die >_<. It was near the end of chapter 19, and Erk was hit by a short spear (30%), a thunder (55%), and another thunder (50%). I was incredibely pissed that he couldn't dodge one of those, and I'm lazy, so I just kept on going. Was that stupid? I mean, I always thought Pent/Nino make better sages than he ever did.

Anyway, thoughts on the game are nice. I absolutely love FE, because it's a mix of strategy elements and rpg elements rolled into one. Plus the characters are really unique, and, as dumb as it sounds, playing matchmaker can be fun. I think maybe why I'm so mad about choosing Lowen over Kent is because I wanted to hook up the Kentinator with Fiora...or maybe even Lyn, but probably not, because Lyn is mine! *snatches*

So yeah, post stuff on it XP

ummm..... I had all chars all max lvl....and still had a hard time killing the dragon... killed it with the Moses like mage

Roy's actually not that high on the Tier list, though... Marth's the top tier along with Fox and Shiek, however 3nodding

'tis a shame they both suck in their respective FEs though. sad

That's a casual player's view. Hardcore SSB:M players (And I mean hardcore) treat the tier list like a bible. For instance, it would be IMPOSSIBLE for a Pichu or Bowser character to beat Sheik or Marth, simply because Sheik and Marth are better.

I have to starts playing that more now...its on my play list...but its near the end...I WILL complete that game...and F-Zero Gx too...tho two games rock xd

I was surprised with Fire Emblem, the gameplay and story are actually quite excellent.

THough, I want to play Fire Emblem 6, with Roy. I want to play it, so badly. Roy was so cool in SSBM.

Oh no you don't. Roy sucks so bad (Even after he promotes and simultaneously gains the Sword of Seals) that he just becomes sort of...you know, the guy that's just there that nobody likes. Like Farva from Super Troopers. xd

His personality sucks, he's terribly weak (But to be honest, that's a trait in most Fire Emblems), his promotion comes way too late to be useful, and he just overall....well, blows. sad

I can't wait until February. According to a magazine I got just now, the GC FE game is coming out in February 2005. It looks really cool because its the same gameplay, but in full 3d for both the map and the fighting scenes when you attack. This will be a must for any FE fan. Also, the only FE I've played now is the one on GBA in the US, but I've gotten so into it that I have beaten Eliwood and Hector's stories as well as collected about 30% of the total support conversations. You can find out some unusual things with those conversations:
1. If Harken and Isadora get to an A rank support, he will propose to her
2. Canas and Nino find out that he could actually be her uncle
3. Rebecca and Dart are brother and sister
And that's all I've got right now. I'm not too far, so I still have a long ways to go. The only thing I feel really hard is getting to an A rank support for Karla and anyone else, since you don't get her until chapter 31x: Battle Preparations (Hector's story only) and the only way to play through 3 more chapters is to be chapter 32 in under 20 turns. I will get her supports someday! For now, I'm just going to get ones that can be found at the beginning of the game.
